He went above and beyond for us from the first point of contact. He showed up to our event with a professional look and demeanor, he introduced himself and showed me where he kept his “wedding emergency kit.” Yes, he has one. And trust me ladies he has thought of everything. From Shout wipes, to Aleve, to sewing kits, his tackle box of goodies will assist in a pinch. Once the reception started Brandon did not only DJ, he ran the show. I felt like he was my personal assistant. He let me and my husband know where we needed to be, how much time we had, ect. and gave us ample notice so that we simply spent the whole night enjoying one another. Before we announced the wedding party he even came to me to make sure he was saying each name properly, which I found very lovely. When the food service started (we had a buffet) he made sure the hotel staff pre-plated food for us and brought it to our sweetheart table. He even checked on us during dinner to see if we needed anything, we asked him if when he went back to the DJ booth if he could ask one of the servers to come open our bottle of wine, he said “let me take it now for you," he took the bottle, had it opened, and brought it back to us. He really took on the role of an event coordinator. He was RAD. He played wonderful music and we received so many compliments on his flow, ect. Everyone had a great time. It was important for my husband and I to have a celebration that was true to us, and he made it happen. Best choice we could have made and I cannot recommend him enough.

He was always available via email, and telephone to answer any questions my husband and I had. He took the time to make sure we felt comfortable. He was also a great person to bounce off my crazy ideas off of. He was extremely helpful during the planning process. On our wedding day, Brandon was there early making sure everything was ready for the day. He provided the arrival, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music, and let’s not forget, the amazing lighting. The music during the reception was fun and appropriate for all ages. He knows how to read crowds and keep everyone dancing. And I mean everyone! Which my husband and I thought would be challenging since we have two totally different music styles and we had guest ranging from 16 to 70 years old. I was very impressed with his ability to combine different music styles and make it seem seamless. All the music he played was perfect. I could not have asked for more. It was truly a perfect night! Brandon provided an unbelievable experience. He was professional, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. His attention to details and personal involvement really made our wedding special. Our guest still tell us how much fun they had at our wedding and how great the music was. One of our guest already booked Brandon for his wedding. J If you want people dancing/having a great time at your wedding or event, book DJ Rooster. You wont regret it! He was highly recommended to my husband and I by a dear friend and now we understand why. We highly recommend DJ Rooster, for any DJ/lighting services. He wont let you down.

ambiance beautiful. We found Brandon thru a recommendation from our wedding coordinator. He was the third and final DJ that we met with. His ease of personality and ability to give us multiple options made him the far better option! In addition to being our DJ, Brandon also did our uplighting and our monogram. All came out exactly how we wanted! Originally, we thought that the most daunting task was going to be choosing key reception songs - father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, cake cutting, etc. Yet, after a few simple emails to and from Brandon, we quickly had all of our reception songs picked out. It should be noted that Brandon completely respected our hectic schedules and only gave us manageable tasks, like choosing for a given list of songs, which was much appreciated!! Days before, we sent a few requests to Brandon and he was sure to play all of our favorites!! I am so grateful that he played music that matched our style and gave something for everyone to listen to, dance to, and enjoy! One of my favorite memories of Brandon occurred during our reception; Brandon noticed that neither my groom nor I had taken the chance to sit and eat. He walked over to the two of us and informed us that we would be starting speeches in 10 minutes and that we could take that time to sit and eat. To me, this meant the world. It showed that Brandon was looking out for us. All too often, brides and grooms gripe about not having eaten at their wedding. Thanks to Brandon, we took those 10 minutes and enjoyed some food! Brandon's DJ service, lighting, and monogram helped make our wedding flawless! One of my bridesmaids ending up booking him for her upcoming wedding! I think that this simply speaks volumes about his talent.

We explained to Brandon that we have all types of guests (old, young, rock n roll lovers, hip-hop lovers and house lovers) and Brandon was able to accommodate all of these different types of sounds with easy transitions between songs. We basically wanted a huge party, but leading up to the party he played great songs through the cocktail hour. He provided us and our guests with the best party ever! I had so many people tell me (and still to this day!) how great he was and how he was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard/seen. He didn't overly talk during the event, and continuously felt out our guests to play what they wanted to hear. He also made sure to NOT play the songs and I did not want to hear and to ask me if someone requested a silly song. Brandon truly exceeded all of our expectations and I highly recommend him for any wedding or event!!

We had many guest tell us how much they loved the music and how it was the best wedding they had ever been too! The lighting that Brandon provided also looked amazing, my favorite was our custom monogram, which (once created) Brandon allowed me to use on my seating chart as well. I highly recommend Brandon to anyone looking for a DJ that knows 100% what he is doing and will successfully deliver an all around great time.

Our first meeting was done via skype (I was planning this wedding from out of state) and he had a slideshow presentation uploaded that went over all the details of his services and how he executed the night. I had not even given much thought to how important his role would be in our reception, but I soon realized that his actions directly effected how our reception ran, am SO glad we went with him! He is worth every cent. This is not a place you want to skimp when it comes to your budget. HE WAS PERFECT!! He is far from those DJs that annoy your guests throughout the evening with a corny announcements and lame music. Brandon is amazing at reading the crowd and adjusting the music and announcements accordingly. All my guests (young and old) had so much fun and were dancing until the very last song of the evening. I even had a hard time visiting because I couldn't keep myself off the dance floor, it was a cascade of fun! Some of my best memories of that evening were on the dance floor!! His equipment is top of the line, and he even creates the perfect ambiance with his amazing lighting and personalized monograms! He is the only DJ you should have if having your event/wedding at The Ultimate Sky Box, or anywhere else for that matter! He helped the progression of events run seamlessly throughout the evening, and helped us to pick some great music when we were conflicted with song choice. I couldn't think of a single thing that could have been better when it comes to DJ Roosters's involvement in our reception...HE'S PERFECT!!!

, great uplighting, and outdoor light features. He was a great value for the money. More Good: He has a great voice, gauges the crowd well, and gives good introductions. He was attuned to our cues to draw the First Dance to a close when we were ready. Major points to him for learning the name (and pronunciation) of the bridal party ahead of time, to ensure that their names were said correctly. He's very big on timelines - he will keep things flowing on a prescribed timeline. My wedding was a pretty free-flowing format, so this occasionally was a little disappointing - I'd be in a conversation with a guest and he'd cut in to say it was time to move to the next phase. However, I'm sure a lot of events need stricter adherence to timelines, so I don't fault him for this. The Not So Good: He wasn't the easiest to work with in my experience; I think he had a lot going on in his life during our prep time, but he didn't recall a few conversations we'd had. He did end up playing at least one song that was on the written "Do Not Play" list (there were about 7 or 8 songs, so not huge). The Bad: The thing that frustrated me the most was as follows - my champagne glass broke during the toast, and he brought it up three times during his voice-overs during later parts of the evening. I wasn't thrilled that it happened in the first place, but for him to keep mentioning it got really annoying. Summary: His services are a good value for the money, but there were some challenges.

o i don't know what was played then, but i was disappointed that more old songs for my parents and their generation were not played. He had warned us about this in advance, that he does not like to play older songs later in the night because old folks get tired and leave, but we had a lot of older people still there and it was still all pop etc. My only other con would be that both my dad (who was paying him) and my groom's dad asked him to turn down the volume and he politely refused - he explained to me that he explained to them that the space required that much sound and I told him that was fine, but I still think if the guy that's paying you asks you to do something you should at least try to appease. All in all he is a good DJ and if you hire him your guests will have a rockin time - especially the under-40's. if you have lots of sensitive older ears be wary and seat them far from the speakers.

the BIG day, he didn't skip a beat. I would email him song changes in the middle of the night and have responses in minutes. He was very eager to get a feel for my fiance and I as a couple to ensure that the music was perfect. We gave him a list of key songs and based on this he created the playlist for our wedding. He was by far the best DJ i have ever seen and people continue to talk about our wedding to this day!
