The SINGLE best DJ in the DMV area -- no questions, no other opinions welcome. This man did not MISS a beat, from the ceremony, to the reception, to being a master emcee, and a gentleman through and through. We were worried about our wedding music just because of our eclectic taste, but with light guidance DJ Schemes took the assignment and RAN with it. My wife and I are so grateful to DJ Schemes and all he provided to our big day.

DJ Schemes was highly recommended to us for our wedding. From beginning to end, he was very professional and quick with his responses to us. He was always friendly with everyone that came into contact with him, and made it real easy to create a personal relationship with him. He was the first to arrive for our wedding venue walk through, which was amazing insight for us into his promptness. He arrived to the venue on time and was ready to go when it was time to conduct the ceremony. For us, we really wanted our wedding to be filled with good vibes while everyone ate their food and high energy during the dancing portion. DJ Scheme's provided us with everything we asked for and more. With my wife and I being of Caribbean decent, we really wanted that resonate musically throughout the night. Schemes found the perfect balance of R&B, Hip Hop, and Reggae through the dance portion of the night that kept the crowd very active. Typically, you see dance floor attendance shrink in size towards the end of the event, but Schemes started playing Soca/Fete music and the crowd ran back to the dance floor and continued partying right up the very last moment. One of the best parts of the night was his ability to play music given to him on the spot. My wife and I both went to college in Florida and a large section of our friend group is from the state. We wanted music from our time in college to play but it isn't widely known. We texted him the songs while he was DJ'ing and he smoothly added it into the rotation; you would have sworn he had it all along. We attribute much of our events success to Schemes and his ability to craft the perfect musical flow for the entire night. His high level of professionalism and ability to adapt to his surroundings made him the perfect DJ for our event, and will make him the perfect DJ for anyone's event.

We hired DJ Schemes for our destination wedding in the Dominican Republic and from start to finish he exuded professionalism, was easy to communicate with, catered to our requests, and most importantly ROCKED the party and had everyone from various cultures dancing from start to finish! His ability to read the room, control the crowd, and his MC’ing are top tier! 10/10 would recommend.

DJ Schemes was punctual, professional, and easy to work with. He curated a vibe for our wedding that was unmatched. All of our guests asked about the dj the day after the wedding. We did not have to tell him specific songs that we wanted played, we just told him the genre and music era. Dj Schemes delivered beyond what we imagined. I would definitely recommend him for your wedding, or any event.

Schemes even choreographed music for the Grooms ceremony entrance, had our guests so excited throughout the entire event. Book Schemes now! He arrives early, transitions well, and gets the reception hype!

Schemes did an excellent job being our DJ for the wedding. He was easy to contact, affordable and any questions we had was a phone call or text away (with a quick response no matter how many questions we had) and when it was time to go over song preferences, entrances, etc. he took detailed notes asked our preference and when the big day came, he executed it perfectly. We even had start and stop times for entrances and dances and he nailed it. He performed as our MC as well getting our guest amped up to really party and he played music for all aged groups. The last minute we wanted to add some lights around the room (a service he provides) and he was able to provide them and set them up. I knew we selected the perfect DJ because everyone and I mean EVERYONE came to us the next day and said Schemes was amazing taking everyone back playing classic and current hits. Transition from song to song was smooth and on point I would definitely recommend Schemes for my next event or if any of my friends/family are looking for a DJ. You put his skills and an open bar together and I guarantee your family/friends will have a great time

My husband and I frequent a club in the DC area that DJ Schemes plays at a lot. Over the many times that we have gone there, we were able to develop a relationship. He always played my favorite song.....POISON :-) When we started to plan our wedding I already knew who the DJ would be with no doubt in my mind. He is so easy to work with and very laid back, he truly makes sure that he has everything for that special day. The day of the wedding I couldn't have been more happy and proud on the work that he did. My wedding was lit and the dance floor was never empty. If you are looking for great energy book DJ Schemes.
