Hiring Dj Shazam was the easiest and best decision my husband and I made for our wedding this past weekend! Our wedding photographer actually recommended Shazam if we wanted an upbeat, energetic time and he delivered!! He got to know us and our music taste through a couple of video chats and absolutely nailed it the day of! From seating, the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception he perfectly executed our vision for our special day. Our dinner was buffet style and Dj Shazam suggested a scavenger hunt to determine which tables go up & get food. It was fun and playful which the guests enjoyed! He kept the energy up throughout the night until we did our final send off. He was also super accommodating when my husband and I changed our first dance song last minute. We highly recommend Dj Shazam for ANY event!!!

DJ Shazam began toying with music curation since 2006, and became a professional DJ in 2015. From 2016-2022 he worked with an agency to gain experience DJing for crowds of all sizes while pursuing a career in tech in Silicon Valley. In 2023, he exchanged his tech career for that in entertainment, and now owns his own company. That same year, he dove deeper into DJing and expanded his knowledge, skills, and music library. One can say after 10 years DJing professionally, he is an expert. But if you ask him, he'd say this is only the beginning :)

nce party of our dreams! His enthusiasm and organization during planning gave us full confidence in his ability to run the event. He is warm and welcoming with guests young and old, and puts everyone at ease. Before we really understood all of the services a wedding DJ provides, we might have been in the this-could-just-be-a-playlist camp. But no matter how well organized you are (or how good you are at making a playlist!), giving over the management of transitions throughout the day to a professional who knows your timeline provides such peace of mind and lets you enjoy the magical moments that are happening around you without worrying about what comes next. Adam knew our venue and some of the complicated sound restrictions so we didn’t need to worry about any of that. But the real magic was on the dance floor! We had a fun idea for our first dance that Adam mixed songs together to create for us perfectly. Then he took an eclectic playlist we provided with our favorites plus suggestions from our guests and wove it together into an amazing 3 hours of nonstop music. It wasn’t just the individual songs that got people excited, it was the fun ways he mixed them together, the way he moved the energy up and down, and included everyone. Right before the wedding, I watched an instagram reel about how your dancefloor shouldn’t be open for more than 2 hours because no one can keep the energy up for any longer than that, and you risk letting the event end on a whimper instead of a bang. But we didn’t have to worry about that with Adam! Everytime we found a song where we could bear to take a break and get some water, he brought the crowd back with an irresistible beat or a nostalgic favorite and the floor filled back up again! Hire Adam for your wedding, he is worth every penny!

From the moment we had our first call with DJ Adam, we felt connected, seen, and excited to work with him.
Leading up to the event, he was communicative, upbeat, and supportive. ...
He provided a platform allowing us to add must play songs that we were able to easily contribute to during the months leading up to the wedding. The calls with him always left us even more excited!
At the actual event, we cannot say enough about how major of a role he played in making our wedding so memorable, special, and fun. He was present and excited without being the center of attention, and his love for what he does is undeniable.
During and after our wedding, one of the first things that guests have told us is how much they loved the DJ and how excellent of a job he did at cultivating the vibes and keeping the dancefloor packed. Multiple guests have told us that they never dance at weddings, but found themselves on the dancefloor the entire night.
We absolutely loved working with DJ Shazam and cannot recommend him highly enough!

He's super friendly and loves talking to you about your music tastes and background, and he carries that kind energy into the event.

“sees” you, your personality, and your needs for your event. He is an artist who really embodies what it means to be a fantastic host.
Some highlights from our experience working with Adam:
1. During consultation he asks lots of thoughtful questions to get to know you, beyond just getting a feel for the vibe of your event
2. He was able to look at one of our song selections that he’d never heard before and cut it perfectly for our ceremony in a matter of seconds
3. He moderated a tricky situation where one of our family members wanted to surprise us with wedding tradition that would have made us very uncomfortable. Adam knew us well enough to know that the request wasn’t right for us, and completely handled the situation on our behalf after asking for permission to do so.
4. He played an “encore” for the cheering crowd within the 30 seconds before the clock ticked 10:00 for noise ordinance 🤣

played/not played, the type of vibes we were looking during different parts of our wedding, etc. He even helped us learn about things we weren’t aware of but made a huge difference day of (microphone types, etc). His professionalism was incredibly appreciated as well, from beginning to end. He came early day off with all the equipment needed & kept the vibes / energy so incredibly positive all night. Our guests said this “was the best wedding ever” and I credit that HUGELY to Adam, DJ Shazam! thank you!! 12/10 recommend
