We hired Matt to DJ/MC our wedding & he was just so great! From the very beginning he was easy to talk to & understood the vibe we were going for. A lot of other DJs didn’t have sample mixes to listen to so I love that he did & it’s what won us over! Day of he was great! We got behind on the timeline but he kept everything going smooth & played every single vibe we wanted! Thank you Matt!! Highly recommend!

One non-negotiable for our wedding: having DJ Solstice as our DJ. We even chose our wedding date based off his availability! Matt really understood the vibe we were going for which was alllllllll over the place lol (Hannah Montana, E40, One Direction, Morgan Wallen, David Guetta, NOTD, Cheat Codes, Gryffin, Backstreet Boys and so much more). He is so easy to work with and is very responsive. He is also sooo hype and really knows how to work the crowd. Our friends were talking about how lit, hype, and fun our DJ was. DJ solstice and his team were amazing!! We had the privilege of having Carlos as our actual DJ (since we requested bilingual) while DJ solstice facilitated everything leading up to our wedding. We utilized their photo booth and audio guest book, CO2 gun, cold sparklers, and LED foam sticks, all of which were huge hits at our wedding. All were so easy to use and the turn around time for photos and audio guest book messages was so quick! The dance floor was jam packed the entire night, and our friends and family will not stop raving about the dance floor/ music. DJ solstice also helped me put together a father/ daughter music mash up, which was also such a hit at our wedding! Overall, 10/10 recommend DJ solstice and his amazing team, book them for your event!

I do not have the words to express how incredible DJ Solstice was! I would give him 10 stars if I could. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! His set was absolutely incredible and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. He seamlessly blended songs, keeping the energy high and the mood just right. I cannot even put into words how amazing the music at my wedding was. I’ve never had so much fun just dancing with all my friends and family. DJ Solstice hands down was the perfect DJ for our wedding. There wasn’t a single moment the whole wedding there wasn’t someone on the dance floor. He played the perfect songs and made all my special requests happen. It was banger after banger, I truly didn’t not sit down the whole night. I cannot recommend enough!

We hired DJ Solstice for our wedding in April 2024 and it was one of the best decisions we made! As big EDM fans we really wanted to have lasers, great lighting and CO2 effects and he delivered above and beyond. If it’s in budget, I’d def really recommend the ultimate package. The extra effects, especially the handheld CO2 cannon, were hits! We also love hip hop and Solstice did a great job of mixing EDM and hip hop with a sprinkle of oldies and kpop to cover all our guests wants. Some guests even asked for the playlist after which Solstice was kind enough to quickly provide. His setup looked great in all white and his speakers bumped. If you can fit his set up next to the dance floor it’s really worth it. His photobooth turned out awesome too. And the CO2 cloud he created for our first dance was huge, it was awesome! Lastly, he was great communicating with us throughout the whole stressful wedding process. He even jumped on a call with us about power supply needs last minute that really helped us out. No hesitations, 11/10 recommend!

Matt is absolutely amazing! He made our wedding perfect and people could not stop talking about how great he was. I'd give him a million stars if I could. I want to throw another event just to hire him again. If you want people dancing all night you need him for your event. I also had the Photo Booth and he had the funniest props and had everyone lining up to take pictures. 100% the best dj I've seen for events and so glad to have had him and his team. got married on 2/24/24 in Temecula and had Matt provide the photobooth floral wall for my wedding. I met Matt at the bridal expo in Orange County and he was so kind, professional, eager to work with and had an amazing presentation of equipment. The best presentation for both DJ and photobooth services out of all the vendors that were present that day. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude for the quality work provided and the service provided from the initial moment I contacted him. Being a bride, having a vendor who is very responsive and excited to work with the vision you have e for your day takes an immense amount of stress off my shoulders. Prior to the wedding my husband, me and Matt spoke on the phone and outlined what we wanted for our wedding. Matt was so friendly, flexible and so incredibly easy to work with. He listened to our likes and provided us with the exact vision we discussed. On the actual wedding day, Matt and his team arrived early! (Huge plus and less stress for me). The set up was just stunning! He set up the flower wall photobooth before heading out to work at another event. The 2 attendants that were working our event were so kind, professional, attentive to my guests and had a perfection presentation of props. My venue already provided a DJ, if they didn't, without a doubt I would have also hired Matt to be my DJ! This guy has a passion for what he does. Honestly I felt like he took it upon himself to treat my wedding as if it was his own. This is your guy, please please book him! He is worth every dollar and all your guests will rave about his work! As huge music fans (my now husband and I are both ravers/concert lovers)with music taste that spans anywhere to emo/pop punk and all the many subgenres of EDM we were very picky with who would be our dj. I am so happy to say Dj Solstice did not disappoint. Communication before and up to the day of the wedding was very straightforward and professional. His set up from the lights, booth and mixing equipment is all professional grade and all top of the line with the acoustics of the venue in mind. He even made a magical moment happen by playing a song by our favorite dj at such a perfect moment. Even towards the end of the night when most of the older crowd left Dj Solstice still kept the energy going and I didn’t want to leave the dance floor. Dj Solstice knows how to cater to the crowd but still keep your preferences in mind. Many guests who have never been exposed to our music taste was begging for the playlist post wedding. I am just waiting for an excuse to book him again for my next event !

I recently had a wedding and Matt was our DJ. I received so many amazing feedback from my guests the morning after. My guests could not stay off the dance floor because that's how amazing Matt was. He will give you your dream wedding vibes. He is very organized, super professional, and such a GOOD DJ (I would pay to see him play again lol). He's so easy to work with too. Matt provided a big beautiful cloud for us to dance on, with firesparks. Beautiful effects and my dream first dance. A projection with our initials on the wall and it animated - loved it thank you!

Solstice is the mannnn. As a fellow DJ myself, I wanted someone I could trust to deliver a high-energy banger dance party, with music from EDM to Spanish. Obviously I know what other DJs bring to the table and knew this guy was who I wanted. He crushed it. Even let me hop on the decks and throw a set while he handled the MC and lighting to complement it. Photobooth was dope too.

He was our MC/DJ, provided the photo booth, up lighting, and our neon sign. He provides WAY more, but our venue had restrictions and we could not utilize everything. This DJ really wants you and your guests to have a good time, and will go above and beyond to do so. Matt absolutely met every expectation and you can tell me loves his job. Now this next part is a HUGE example of a great DJ, and a terrible DJ, and why you want the great DJ... The Bad DJ- We went to a friend's wedding the week after our wedding, DJ'ed by someone else, and this DJ did not listen to my friend's requests at all! They provided him songs to play and he did not play even half of them. They love Frank Sinatra and had a few of his songs on the list. Their DJ played all the Sinatra songs back to back.. They did not know he would just press play and walk away and flirt with the coordinator the whole time. Second, they stated no song requests from guests, yet when guests walked up, he would play it! Later on we realized that we heard some of the same songs 2-3 times. The Great DJ (a.k.a) DJ Solstice- My Husband and I have a broad taste in music. We love Oldies, R&B, Rap, Club, Hip Hop, Alternative, Banda, Cumbia, Reggaeton, etc. And I was a very involved bride and made a playlist for each event and had every song picked for every moment, all very different. I sent DJ solstice all these playlists and he played every song we requested, and did it well. He abided by our must and do not playlists. His transitions were literally perfect. I've never been to a wedding and heard something like that before. Even with our broad taste in music, he was able to make everything flow so well. My husband loved it so much that he asked him if he could have the set list, which he did give us haha! Every song we requested for the ceremony, recessional, entrances, cake cutting, dances, last song, every request was fulfilled and on time. I danced with both of my dads and mother, and he was so accommodating to play each song just long enough as to not have the guests get bored with 3 different dances. Also, there was a particular Mexican line dance told him was a must and that he could not play it without me. When he decided it was right to play the song, he made sure to call the Bride over the mic so I didn't miss it! He would not let the song officially start until I go to the dance floor! Ugh we just loved Matt! The lighting elevated everything! It was in sync with the music perfectly and the colors were so vivid. We got our photobooth photos the next day! A month or so after the wedding our link expired and I was not able to download them, but Matt was very accommodating and resent the link to me. The photobooth was great and the photos came out bright and clear! My husband is 6'1 and hates having to crouch for photos, but the booth was adjustable and made it so easy for taller guests and big groups! You get to pick your own template and text. And for the neon sign you get to pick the type of lighting, and color, and comes with a mount and a remote for when you take it home. We had multiple guests come to us at different times during the night to say their goodbye's, but then 30 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour later, we would still see them on the dance floor! I walked up to them and asked "I thought you were leaving?" Their response: "We couldn't leave, these songs are too good." Thank you again for everything Matt, and for being a part of making our day perfect.

DJ Solstice set up early, and kept the party rolling. He did our ceremony with excellent music. Then the dance party was off the chain. He did karaoke then some dancing songs, old school. We got the cold spark machine for pyrotechnics. It was awesome. He stayed throughout the 5-hour event and kept the party rolling all night long. We added on a photo booth which I highly recommend. We took 254 photos and everybody said whatever price you paid it, was worth it. Very funny photo collection. Plus Matt from DJ Solstice gave us a thumb drive with all 254 pictures on it in full format, The photo booth machine takes three pictures at a time and spits out a personalized photo strip for each person that takes a photo. I highly recommend Matt and DJ Solstice. He made our wedding very memorable.

There are truly not enough words to express the amount of love and gratitude we feel for Matt and his team. My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and we are still on cloud 9 from our wedding day. Matt truly overdelivered in more ways than we could have ever imagined. The cold sparklers, to his epic sound system and lighting setup, to the incredible dance floor vibes are why we never left the dance floor at our wedding. We also booked his photobooth service and absolutely loved it! We hired Matt for our wedding and he was incredible. If you are thinking about booking a DJ for your wedding/event you should book him. He was incredibly communicative throughout the wedding planning process. On the wedding day, he showed up early to set up the sound systems for the ceremony and the ceremony musicians. His playlist for the dinner was perfect for setting the mood and then he REALLY got the party going after dinner. He played all of our 'must-plays' and weaved together songs that would appeal to all demographics and both family's cultures (American & Mexican). Our dance floor was completely packed the entire night and so many of our other vendors commented that it was the most energy they have ever seen on a dance floor. He was so professional and made the evening a night everyone will remember for years to come. I highly highly recommend him!

I found Dj Solstice at a premier bridal expo last year. What sold me on booking with them for our wedding was two things: 1. they had the best quality of Photo Booth prints when I compared their Photo Booth prints with the other 4 photo booths at that bride expo. This was important to us since the photo book prints were our party favors, and we weren't giving out any other type of favor at our wedding. The Photo Booth also included digital copies to be texted to our guests, and the quality of the digital photos were outstanding. ***Bonus: all digital copies were given to my husband and on a flash drive at the end of the night. 2. The dj had a great presentation at the bride expo with slideshows of previous weddings and all the ways and things that they do to make weddings so fun! They have special effects with their packages such as sparklers, fog effects and a smoke gun to smoke show the dance floor. The night of our wedding went so flawlessly. the sparklers that went off when we had our grand entrance, and when we had our first dance enhanced our experience. We forgot about the fog/smoke gun and were just as surprised as our guests when we got to use it on the dance floor. It was absolutely incredible and the music was fantastic! Every guest raved about our dj and music playlist. The dj went above and beyond to deliver a great evening for us and we wouldn't have changed a thing about our music and dance floor experience. Thank you Matt for such a wonderful night and for being the best DJ we could ask for. I am so glad I went to that bride expo and met you that day.

Our wedding was like a dream, thanks in large part to DJ Solstice! Met at a wedding show, discussed our wants, and he put together a packaged deal that would deliver on all fronts. He was quick to communicate with and easy to work with, which is saying a lot because we had a bunch of small details and traditions we wanted to incorporate into the night. I also had a very unique vision with lighting and setup inside the barn for our reception, and let me tell you - I walked in and it was PERFECT! The lighting, photobooth, and execution. We had DJ SOlstice as our DJ & MC for our beachside venue wedding. As there was a band who would primarily be playing for the dancing part, we didn't think much of the DJ's role. However, he truly created an energetic and lively environment when the band played with his great lighting setup. It looked like a freakin' concert in there. He was also great on the mic with introductions and keeping events moving throughout the night. He's got our stamp of approval ✓

We hired DJ Solstice based off seeing him at another wedding. Ours was a bit more challenging as my family is all French-speaking and thus wanted a ton of their music played. Matt Solstice stepped up and delivered! He mixed in classics, our English requests, and a wide variety of French music that my family loved and danced to all all night. What is not to love about Matt. I to met him at a Bridal show last October and I am so happy that I did. Matt is so easy to talk to, very personable, easy-going, and professional to work with. My now-husband and I shared great conversation with Matt to share the vision of what we wanted at our wedding. One professional thing that I really enjoyed about Matt, was the fact of how quickly he would respond to any question I had regarding the package we selected, the variety of backdrops provided, and the selection of neon sign font and color. He really takes pride in his work, and ultimately wants the best for your wedding. Another thing I enjoyed was that he arrives on time to your venue and honestly creates a work-of-art for your photos. My husband and I selected the green and white floral wall with the beautiful neon pink sign hung above that reads "The DeGrees." The Photo Booth was a major hit at my wedding and the take-home photo-strips were high quality. The best part is that Matt provides a flash drive of all the photos taken by your guests. My husband and I enjoyed going thru each photo and re-living the best night of our life. I highly recommend using DJ Solstice as your go-to man for an epic time!

He had an awesome set up that was visually appealing and great packaging options for events. He was also highly recommended on The Knot. DJ Solstice provides more than just music - he provided us with different lighting options, sparklers, and a custom LED sign with our last name which really set the environment and our wedding turned out beautiful! Matt (DJ Soltice) was referred to me by a work colleague who used him for her wedding - which was amazing let me just say. I had high hopes, and he delivered on all of them, if not above and beyond! He had our guests vibing to music during dinner service and got them so excited to open the dance floor. He blended 90s-2000s hip hop and rap with Bollywood music that had our guests going crazy! Our dance floor was PACKED through the night. We had roughly 220 guests and they had to rearrange some tables to accommodate all of the guests who wanted to join in on the fun.

So solstice was absolutely amazing! The music selection was outstanding! He had all my friends & family out on the dance floor! Highly recommend!

Matt was amazing! We cannot thank him enough for DJing our wedding. We sent him a Spotify list with songs and genres to go off of, and he nailed it. We had little programming because we wanted the night to be a giant dance party for us and all our guests. The dance floor was never empty and the song transitions were seamless. DJ Solstice was such a hit at our wedding last week! Our day of coordinator even told us that Matt was the best she's ever worked with! He was informative and answered our questions very quickly. He was willing to work with us and our budget as well. He was on time and flexible throughout the planning process and on the day of. Through all the stress of wedding planning, DJ Solstice (Matt) made finding and booking a DJ plus photo booth package extremely enjoyable and easy. From the very beginning, Matt was very responsive, friendly, helpful, and flexible. I had asked him a number of questions when I first inquired and he provided very detailed responses usually within minutes. He would always provide photos and videos for reference and we were very impressed by what he had to offer. There was also a few times we had made updates to the contract and Matt was very accommodating. For the day-of, Matt was extremely professional and reliable. We had requested particular genres of music for pre-ceremony, cocktail, and dinner reception; Matt played exactly what we were looking for. For the dance party, we were also very specific with genres, song choices, etc. Matt did an excellent job of mixing a wide variety of genres together and keeping things lit (figuratively and literally) on the dance floor. The ambience he created with his lighting and effects were awesome to say the least. He also offers a CO2 gun to rent and all the guests loved it and couldn't get enough! Overall, Matt was very adaptable and has a very good sense of the overall flow of a wedding and it seemed like he knew exactly what to do and when, even if it may not have been specified earlier or on the schedule. Overall, I would highly recommend Matt for any wedding and would love the opportunity to book him in the future.

Matt made our night so much fun! We loved the sparklers so much and the fact we had a neon sign included in our package was so awesome. Matt kept the crowd dancing until the music had to be cut off. He was so awesome and we are so so happy to have found him!

Matt was nothing short of perfection throughout the entire process of wedding planning. He is no amateur and knows exactly what he’s doing. His communication is flawless and expeditious. Of all the vendors we used for our wedding DJ Solstice was the easiest to work with. He is very accommodating and he works his ass off to ensure your day is flawless! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about him! I have to say the top two compliments we received about our wedding were how great the food was and about how awesome our DJ is. I highly recommend you stop your search for a DJ and book him to save yourself the headache. Before booking Matt we did our research on at least 10 other DJs and it was Matts perseverance and willingness to work with us that sold us. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him for any other future events of mine. Aside from him being so personable his skill set is impeccable. Not once did our microphones squeal annoyingly, not once was a song abruptly stopped, nor did he miss a beat on any of the special requests we made. He really knows how to read a room. I specifically requested he play a song for my daughter and I to dance to and he saw how the emotions were running through the song and instead of playing just the snippet I asked him to play, he played a little more until he could tell we had had enough. It made for a great memory and great pictures! Thank you Matt we really appreciate your hard work on that day, you are really great at what you do and we were honored to have a guy like you by our side.

Initially we weren't expecting or planning for dancing, we didn't even have a dance floor! But with an hour before the end of the night and all activities finished, Matt turned it into an absolute party that we and our guests LOVED! Superb on the mic, with a fun sense of humor that's not cheesy or lame, which kept our guests engaged and entertained. Also provided a neon sign and mounted it above our cake for us, which was such a special touch. The up-lighting looked gorgeous too. Would 1000% recommend.

One of the most important considerations for our wedding was having a GOOD DJ. My wife and I both knew if we did not have a good DJ, there would be no party. We took our time shopping around and were left disappointed. Then one day, an AD for a Bridal Expo came across us; we went with the hope of finding a DJ. It just so happened that DJ Solstice was the MC for the event. After hearing him work, we were so impressed we went up and booked him the same day! Thank you, DJ Solstice, for an absolute fairy-tale wedding. The role of the DJ is to create a mood for the event and to keep the guests (MOST IMPORTANTLY THE BRIDE & GROOM) entertained. Let me tell you! This DJ brings it! If you are looking for a DJ, Matt is your guy! In addition to the DJ service, he also provided a KILLER Photo Booth. The Photo Booth pictures are great, and I'm so glad we have a keepsake of the night. We even got to take home all the photos taken in the booth on the same night! EVEN MORE!! We were provided with a custom LED neon sign with our last name (we got to pick the LED color and Font prior to the wedding day). I can't tell you how many compliments I received from guests about how beautiful it was. The Photo Booth was an absolute HIT!

If you are looking for a DJ who will absolutely keep the party going all night long at your wedding, you should go with DJ Solstice. Even though it ended up raining on our wedding day (and we were supposed to have an outdoor wedding), our wedding really exceeded our expectations because of the music, lighting, and effects that DJ Solstice provided. He was extremely cost effective, especially considering he provides all of his own equipment, offers a high-quality photo booth with a beautiful backdrop, and a very cool custom neon sign. He not only handled a large 170+ person wedding, but really just did such an incredible job, keeping everyone on the dance floor all night and playing all of our favorite songs. Multiple guests and vendors commented on how great of a DJ he was and that they believe our wedding had the best music/lighting/dance floor of any wedding they’ve been to, and DJ Solstice really deserves all of the credit. I can’t recommend him more.

Matt was the best DJ we could have asked for ! He’s a one stop shop offering music, lighting, sparklers, and even a photo booth set up. I was so luckily to have met him at a bridal convention. Me and my husband really wanted our wedding to feel like a nightclub and that is exactly what we got ! Matt stayed strict with our music choices while providing the most amazing lighting effects and the biggest wow factor was the CO2 cannon and hand held CO2 gun. Our guests were blown away by everything ! We also got a neon sign that we were able to customize and keep after our wedding. Matt will definitely be the DJ we go to whenever an event calls for it !

DJ Solstice was our DJ a couple weeks ago and it was the P E R F E C T night. From the Mcing to the song selections and DJ work it was executed impeccably. We send over a playlist for him to get a feel for our musical tastes and he played those songs and ones like them and had our guests dancing all night. DJ Solstice was incredible! Being an older couple from Texas, we had lots of regional Texan music and freestyle songs we wanted to hear, along with Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggaeton. He mixed it flawlessly, had the dance floor going all night (4 hours!). He met us at the venue a month out to go over setup and placement, which we admired being not from the state. Solsitce was hired to provide photobooth services for our wedding. We went with the white floral backdrop and it was absolutely beautiful, blending in seamlessly with our decor. The quality of the pictures were superb - I am a professional wedding photographer and even I was impressed. Easy to use, friendly service, and fun props & prints.

We hired DJ Solstice for our wedding on September 10th. He sent out DJ Ceelos for our big day, and they were both amazing to work with! Throughout the whole process they were both very quick to respond to any questions and DJ Ceelos set up a call with us before the wedding and listened to what we wanted, and he nailed it! Everyone commented on how great the music was at our wedding. My now husband had a designed a light show on his computer for our first dance and DJ Ceelos took the time to review everything with him to make sure it went off without a hitch. We also rented our photobooth from DJ Solstice and the quality was amazing! The photobooth attendant was also great to work with. I highly recommend this company for your event!

We booked DJ Solstice for our wedding on sept. 2 2022 and would absolutely recommend! We were provided with a Google doc to keep our playlist/song choices organized, and there were lots of recommendations for playlists for all different times of the day/night ( guest arrival, grand entrance options, dancing etc). But we were also able to share our own playlists which is what I did. And when I told him that I'd work on cutting down my 6 hour long dancing playlist he said not to worry about it and that it was his job to read the room, which he did very well! Our friends and family had a blast, dancing and screaming the words to a bunch of the songs he ended up choosing. So glad we trusted him with the music for our day!

DJ Solstice was contracted for our initially small backyard same-sex wedding. Then we added 100 guests and changed to a waterfront venue! LOL! He was able to change up and adapt his setup to the new venue no problem, and we also added the Photobooth which our guests and us loved. We gave him a generic direction of pop and country and he absolutely delivered. Read the crowd, played all the jams, and had us dancing all night. The lighting added to the ambiance and made it even more beautiful. Had so many guests comment afterwords about how much fun they had. Recommend x10!

Matt was overall amazing as an MC and DJ for our wedding! We found him at a bridal expo & he was one of the few who were really hyped up & exciting to watch. He followed up after the expo & shared his rates for the packages he offered. Quick communication through email & text. Pricing was reasonable compared to other DJ services. We gave him playlists in advance, varying between English/Spanish songs & he mixed them with smooth transitions. He read the room really well during the dancing part & would switch up the music with shoutouts over the microphone to hype our crowd up! We got light up sticks & a neon sign included in his package. He went above & beyond by playing a perfect song for our first look, which wasn’t asked for. We appreciate these little details. Minor hiccup when announcing something, but overall very satisfied with his service! Highly recommend.

We are so happy we hired Matt for our big day. He truly brought the party and delivered everything perfectly all day long from ceremony to night.
