zed on the logistics. This made the actual wedding day so easy, and it was perfect. Everything we discussed and asked for happened, even better than anticipated. Spex was thoughtful, professional, cared a lot about making this special for us, and he was independent in that we didn’t have to help him logistically at the venue. He was proactive in making sure he could get set up, meet with the venue ahead of time, fill out all necessary paperwork/insurance. Now, the best part, and this was CRITICAL for us: Spex didn’t play any song too long, and in fact, he caught the best parts of our favorite songs. This kept the dance floor ACTIVE, and fun. I can’t stand when a wedding DJ just stands up there and has a playlist running. Spex was a true DJ, mixing songs in a fun, customized (yes I did have ideas on which songs to mix), and unique way. It was seriously so much fun. Every wedding I’ve been to since makes me notice the DJs style. I’ve yet to experience the music like we had. Nobody wants to listen to the chorus 5 times through! But Spex is a professional DJ, and he is very skilled at keeping the crowd engaged and energetic. All the equipment worked perfectly, no hiccups, the mics, everything. Having Spex there was absolutely a highlight of our entire wedding. We are incredibly thankful to have worked with Spex. I can’t forget that he is also just a great human, a great friend, and a very personable, relational guy. He’s a true joy to be around. 10/10 recommend him for any wedding of any size, especially if you want to have the most amazing, personal, energetic, and authentic wedding. I know we did!
