Stan played a huge role in making our wedding the perfect celebration as the MC and by curating a playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night, including some of our older relatives that haven’t been on a dance floor in decades! It was clear from our first phone call with Stan that he has a passion for his craft. Throughout the entire process he was very professional and provided a lot of useful feedback on details we didn’t even consider. We didn’t have very many specifics regarding the reception music, so we just gave him some loose guidelines and a lot of flexibility. He blew away our expectations! He played some of the best music from the late 90’s through today. I’m more a fan of RnB, which a lot of people don’t always appreciate, but Stan was able to find a lot of the high energy RnB songs that brought a lot of people out onto the dance floor. Throughout the entire evening we had guests coming up to tell us how awesome the music was and how much fun they were having. A lot of guests were even telling us a week after the wedding that they were still recovering because they couldn’t remember the last time they danced that much in a single night. If the party didn’t have to end at 11pm, I think everyone could have easily gone another hour or two. So, if you are looking for a Dj, you can stop here! HIRE DJ STAN!

It was going so well that my mother-in-law approached me towards the end of the time that we had contracted Stan for and asked if we could pay him to stay longer and keep the dancing going. The best photos from our reception are of all the different groups mixing and smiling and laughing on the dance floor. The magic feeling that we all shared that day is visible in the pictures, and you can practically hear the music and seamless MC work that Stan provided when looking back at the photo album. Leading up to the wedding, Stan was courteous in all of our exchanges of payment/scheduling/information, and gave us one less thing to worry about in the preparations. Day of, he showed up well-prepared and worked with our tent/catering team to get set up and do sound check. During the wedding, he handled all of the curve-balls that came his way with grace: Bridesmaid wanted an extra speech? No prob. Mother got choked up and couldn't say anything? Stan smoothly cracked the tension in the room. Weird song requests from the family? Somehow he brought us from the Velvet Underground to Vince Staples to Tina Turner to Megan Thee Stallion to the B-52's in two hours. After the wedding, multiple friends asked for his contact so that he could DJ their weddings. Can't recommend him enough.

My husband and I spoke with him before our wedding and discussed the songs we wanted for each key moment. With certain songs we were particular about what section of the song we wanted to be played and he accommodated us with ease. My wedding guests also loved him! They were having such a good time dancing at my reception that even after the first course of dinner was served, they stayed on the dance floor! DJ Stan is also well versed in various genres of music, so the moments where we didn't need specific songs playing such as the cocktail hour, we were able to give him genres to pull from and he was able to pick the top hits from those genres. I highly recommend him and will be using him for future events as well.
