DJ Stan

DJ Stan was the perfect choice for our wedding! We had absolutely no idea what we were doing leading into this process, but Stan was so open and detailed when answering any of our questions, or putting our minds at ease. When we hopped on our pre wedding call, Stan seemed really excited by our choices, and you can tell he really loves what he does, which makes such a huge difference. He was also extremely accommodating, taking any last minute song choice changes with ease. He handled both our ceremony and receptions, and was so great. We got so many compliments after the wedding about the music and his energy. We’re so glad we booked with DJ Stan!

Had two great zoom calls where Stan was able to pick up on our vibe, taste of music and how we wanted to have the night ran from an MC. Stan was able to fulfill all of our little requests and ran the reception without a hitch. He had a set up in a secondary location for cocktail hour traversing through a slightly muddy summer camp. Our friends and family were all dancing the entire reception once food was done. It truly was a banger. My buddies asked him to stay longer because everyone was having so much fun. Get this man and his wife to DJ your events!

Stan and his wife were amazing! They made sure our day and all its music went off without a hitch! They mixed our procession song so it was long enough for our very long procession to the aisle and the dance floor was ON POINT! I had multiple people telling me they loved the music and the DJ throughout the night. Stan was also really flexible and easy to work with. I can’t recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for an event/wedding DJ look no further!

DJ Stan was great -- he guided us on exactly what he needed from us in order to manage the reception -- and also provided audio and music for ceremony and cocktail hour. He managed the variety of requests we had from guests (we allowed requests but you don't have to). Lastly, without hesitation he stayed an extra hour over the reception end time because we wanted to keep dancing! That was awesome and he did it without hesitation. You will not regret booking DJ Stan!

DJ Stan took our special day and was the icing on top. His FaceTime interview to get to know us and finalize details meant a lot to us. He was patient and enthusiastic throughout our process. The day of the wedding, he was spot on with discussed details and songs. His playlist for us was incredible. We had a playlist with many different genres and he tied all of them in together and had the dance floor dancing all night long. We had multiple people ask for Dj Stan’s contact information following the wedding. He went above and beyond to make our day everything we envisioned.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than DJ Stan! From the moment we booked him, he was incredibly professional and attentive to our music preferences. He kept the dance floor alive all night with a perfect mix of songs that catered to all our guests' tastes. His transitions were seamless, and he knew exactly how to read the crowd to keep everyone engaged. DJ Stan made our special day even more memorable, and we can't thank him enough for his fantastic performance. Highly recommend him for any event where you want the music to be a highlight!

10 out of 5 stars! Stan was the DJ for our wedding at Marina Del Rey on Saturday, August 12, 2023. There isn’t a single thing I would have had Stan do differently for our celebration. All of our guests continue to provide rave reviews and tell us our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to, and we wish we could do it all over again. Stan played a huge role in making our wedding the perfect celebration as the MC and by curating a playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night, including some of our older relatives that haven’t been on a dance floor in decades! It was clear from our first phone call with Stan that he has a passion for his craft. Throughout the entire process he was very professional and provided a lot of useful feedback on details we didn’t even consider. We didn’t have very many specifics regarding the reception music, so we just gave him some loose guidelines and a lot of flexibility. He blew away our expectations! He played some of the best music from the late 90’s through today. I’m more a fan of RnB, which a lot of people don’t always appreciate, but Stan was able to find a lot of the high energy RnB songs that brought a lot of people out onto the dance floor. Throughout the entire evening we had guests coming up to tell us how awesome the music was and how much fun they were having. A lot of guests were even telling us a week after the wedding that they were still recovering because they couldn’t remember the last time they danced that much in a single night. If the party didn’t have to end at 11pm, I think everyone could have easily gone another hour or two. So, if you are looking for a Dj, you can stop here! HIRE DJ STAN!

Cross "get an actually good DJ" off your to-do list Stan was such a good DJ, I still get compliments about him 2 years later. He got all my uncles, aunties, friends, in-laws, and loved ones dancing throughout the night. It was going so well that my mother-in-law approached me towards the end of the time that we had contracted Stan for and asked if we could pay him to stay longer and keep the dancing going. The best photos from our reception are of all the different groups mixing and smiling and laughing on the dance floor. The magic feeling that we all shared that day is visible in the pictures, and you can practically hear the music and seamless MC work that Stan provided when looking back at the photo album. Leading up to the wedding, Stan was courteous in all of our exchanges of payment/scheduling/information, and gave us one less thing to worry about in the preparations. Day of, he showed up well-prepared and worked with our tent/catering team to get set up and do sound check. During the wedding, he handled all of the curve-balls that came his way with grace: Bridesmaid wanted an extra speech? No prob. Mother got choked up and couldn't say anything? Stan smoothly cracked the tension in the room. Weird song requests from the family? Somehow he brought us from the Velvet Underground to Vince Staples to Tina Turner to Megan Thee Stallion to the B-52's in two hours. After the wedding, multiple friends asked for his contact so that he could DJ their weddings. Can't recommend him enough.

DJ Stan did an excellent job from start to finish. He was very professional and punctual. Throughout my wedding each song he played was a perfect fit for each segment of the event. My husband and I spoke with him before our wedding and discussed the songs we wanted for each key moment. With certain songs we were particular about what section of the song we wanted to be played and he accommodated us with ease. My wedding guests also loved him! They were having such a good time dancing at my reception that even after the first course of dinner was served, they stayed on the dance floor! DJ Stan is also well versed in various genres of music, so the moments where we didn't need specific songs playing such as the cocktail hour, we were able to give him genres to pull from and he was able to pick the top hits from those genres. I highly recommend him and will be using him for future events as well.
