I grew up in Texas, and have lived in many places. As my wife and partner, Pam, is from the Bellingham area we landed here in 2009. We have 3 grown children and 1 grandson (so far). I spent time in the US Navy riding submarines, and spent 25 years doing IT work. Now I am living the dream as a full time DJ.

DJ Stan was amazing! He was great to work with leading up to our wedding and had lots of helpful tips and advice. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and amazing at keeping the party alive. Everyone was dancing their hearts out and it truly helped make it a night to remember forever. DJ Stan was the best decision we made for our wedding! Having his as our DJ & MC was so helpful and fun from the rehearsal to the grand exit. Stan is very skilled at his work and was very helpful with our complex ceremony and rehearsal spaces. He kept the party going till the very end and was amazing at keeping the crowd involved! I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again for any DJ needs! 11/10

DJ Stan was an incredible addition to our wedding. He was very communicative, reliable, and fun. He had our party dancing for hours. He knew when to switch the vibe from older generational music to younger. He helped keep the flow of our reception. We added his Photo Booth service and it was a HIT. Also, it was so helpful having a DJ who is so experienced because he knew many different ways to make the schedule. I fully recommend his services!

DJ Stan went above and beyond as our wedding DJ! From planning forms and questionnaires, to Zoom meetings to discuss song choices and timelines, DJ Stan was involved and provided guidance yet also gave us the freedom to make our wedding our own. As for day-of, he partnered with our coordinator to make sure the timeline was executed properly and even continued to check in with us (bride and groom) throughout the night to make sure we were ready to move on to the next activity. DJ Stan provided friendly announcements to our guests and even catered his music choices to all guests’ demographics. We are so pleased with our time with DJ Stan and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ – wedding, anniversary party, work gathering, and more!

Our original DJ had to cancel due to a family emergency. DJ Stan luckily was available for our wedding day, and boy am I glad. He was amazing, and made everything go seamlessly. He was super accommodating, and even got some recordings of our “I do’s”. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. My guests even approached me to let me know how wonderful he was. I’m so glad we were able to book Stan for our wedding this June!! He helped us so much with the planning process as he was very familiar with the venue (Lairmont Manor). He worked so well with our day of coordinator to make the day run smooth and kept everyone on the same page. We also chose to include the photobooth and up-lighting and they were both a huge hit!! All of our guests had a great time and it has been so fun to be able to look back on all of the photobooth pictures!! We could tell that he cared and wanted to make sure our day felt extra special. 100% recommend!!

We loved having Stan MC and DJ our wedding! He was super accommodating to last minute song changes (we’re indecisive) and did such a good job keeping the dance floor alive. We also loved having him help us with the planning- meeting with him way before and then again the week before was so helpful and calmed my worries. What a legendary day! DJ Stan helped us DJ and emcee our wedding reception. First off, he puts in a lot of effort and thought into the planning and prep to make it as streamlined and stress free as possible. You just have to fill out a form and a song worksheet. Then, you have a zoom call to work out details and questions. Stan takes it from there. We could tell he took our requests and playlists and worked with them to mold a setlist that would be special to us and that everyone would enjoy. He also had suggestions of ideas/setups he thought worked well in other ceremonies (Cake cutting, special dances, etc.). Hear him out on those! He also has different games and fun crowd involvment options you can include in your timeline. We chose to go with the relationship advice cards. Everyone enjoyed it. During the reception, he also provided thoughtful suggestions based on setup and how the night was unfolding. He was great on adapting his playlist to the vibe of the dancefloor. We got tons of compliments about the music and emceeing! We first saw DJ Stan at a friends wedding who highly recommended him. We are now passing along the recommendation. DJ Stan is your guy!

DJ Stan made our dream wedding possible! He was fantastic on all fronts, he was the glue that held our day together and he even pitched us the perfect timeline that we used! The day flowed seamlessly! He nailed the music and the queue times for our ceremony and big moments! He checked in with us throughout the wedding to see how we were doing and ensured we were happy. DJ Stan is the epitome of what a 5 star wedding DJ should look like. He listened to our needs and provided many insights for the reception that we had not thought of.
DJ Stan calmly kept his cool and quickly found a solution when another vendor overloaded a circuit by plugging in a heater to the dedicated DJ circuit. He found the issue and the music resumed within 3 minutes.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a 5 star experience for their guests.

Stan DJ'd our company holiday party and he did a great job! There were many people out on the dance floor and he played a wide range of musical styles so there was something for everyone. He also took requests, which was really appreciated by our diverse workforce. In addition, he was very responsive whenever I needed to connect with him with a question or idea before the event. We'll definitely be asking him back for our holiday party next year!

Firstly and most importantly, Stan did an amazing job the day of our wedding. Many of our guest commented that they really like the music selection and he did a great job making sure people were dancing. Stan was very helpful throughout the process and explained a lot of what to expect in each of our meetings with him. My husband and I were handling a lot of the wedding process on our own and Stan was able to go above and beyond. I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough positive things about Stan! The music planning process was very easy and he was there to answer any and all questions. Right from the start he stepped in and helped us run our rehearsal when our wedding coordinator was not there, we would have been lost without him. He kept the day running smoothly and when it came time for our reception, our friends and family did not leave the dance floor! He even sent us an audio recording of our ceremony, which we did not expect, and we will keep that forever. He went above and beyond our expectations and we loved having Stan at our wedding!

Bottom line: DJ Stan was amazing, exceeded expectations, and I'd recommend him to anyone else looking for a wedding DJ.
He was responsive in the months, weeks and days leading up to our wedding, he came along to scout out the venue weeks in advance, he was present at the rehearsal, he helped make sure the "main characters" were mic'd up so that people could hear us on the day of the wedding (during the ceremony) and above all, he quickly got a sense for what music would get people onto the dance floor, and perhaps even more impressive was that he had a sense for what would KEEP people on the dance floor all night.

DJ Stan was recommended to us from a friend and he definitely did not disappoint. He played great music that was our style but he also kept the party going and instructed the crowd as needed. A bonus was the kids dance off competition he had a surprise for the winner and runner up! Would recommend to any one looking.
