hed either way. We had two major problems. One of the main requirements we had when selecting a DJ for our wedding was to be bilingual - english/Spanish as a lot of our guests were Spanish speaking only. Robert was not bilingual and he got upset when we requested that one of our guests coordinate a money dance in english & Spanish because Robert could not do it in Spanish. The other major problem was that the microphone didn't not work for the officiant of our wedding during the ceremony. It was very embarrassing and only the first 2 rows could hear our ceremony because the microphone didn't work. We clearly communicated where the ceremony was taking place in regards to the location of the reception and Robert did not meet expectations on getting sound to the ceremony. During the reception, he also played 'I wanna sex you up' which is a very awkward song to play with two large families. I guess we should have been much more detailed on the do not play list but he said he would feel out the vibe of the event. DO NOT TIP PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT. We found out the hard way as we tipped prior thinking we would save some time and not have to do it the night of or on our honeymoon. You live and learn. It was especially disappointing because we had a 3 year covid engagement, having a very large wedding, and was looking forward to this day very much. My wife Bianca reached out to DJ Thump Entertainment and expressed her concerns after the wedding when we got back from our honeymoon with no response from Patrick. Quick to book and take your money but not to listen and respond to you when events go wrong. He will most likely respond now to this 1 star review as that is what you have to do to get business owners attention these days.

also loved that I could tell he was having a good time and enjoying the music as well. We communicated a lot and he had it all down. Great song selection and wide variety. Very nice and easy to talk to. We really and truly did enjoy his presence. I would definitely hire him again for an event. We danced so much!!! Thank you for everything. The party wouldn’t have continued without you!
