Tommy was a consummate professional, a joy to work with, and an all around great guy. His Music Planning Document (an in-depth and thoughtful questionnaire) was an excellent way of getting all our dos and don'ts down in writing, as well as giving him a sense of exactly what we wanted (which he matched to a t!). Our guests had a blast, the song selection catered to our interests as well as theirs - excellent dance-able hits and oldies at the top of the night for the entire wedding, and some more modern bops as the evening went along. A DJ is such an integral part of the wedding day, and with Tommy, you can set your worries aside and let the master run the show! We cannot recommend him highly enough. -Ed and Imogen

We could not recommend Tommy ENOUGH for your future wedding DJ needs. In a time of stress and anxiety for the bride and groom, our meetings with him put us at complete ease and left us with full confidence that he would crush it. And guess what, HE DID! He made the whole experience so enjoyable and made our wedding day SO memorable. HIGHLY recommend!

DJ Tommy was hands down our best vendor. He is so fun to talk to and sure to put you at ease. Right from the start, Tommy let us know what to expect, and he proactively communicated throughout. When you’re planning a wedding and feel like you’re constantly the one to reach out - getting a break is kind of a relief. He also gave us the time and space to work through all the details of the wedding together. Everything matched Tommy’s vibe: prepared, enthusiastic, fun, but also calm. His planning document is immaculate and thorough - you can tell he’s put a lot of thought into it! It goes through the flow of the wedding as a whole and the vibe of each different portion. He also provides different playlists to choose from if you don’t already have your own. Then on the day-of everything went so smoothly! Tommy was our MC as well as DJ, and did a phenomenal job. He knows how to read the room and would adjust the music accordingly. We didn’t want the music to overpower the whole evening, and he struck the perfect balance. All in all, DJ Tommy was a delight to work with and we would highly recommend him!

Tommy was simply the best! Very communicative and extremely helpful with planning all our music requests. He made things too easy the day of the wedding and went above and beyond with setup, cleanup, and coordinating with the venue. Tommy had a great presence as MC through the whole reception. We are two musicians ourselves and had high standards for a DJ, and Tommy hit a home run. You won't find a better DJ in the LA area! Thank you Tommy!!!

DJ Tommy was our wedding DJ and we could not recommend him more! He is the perfect mix of easy going and professional. Throughout the entire process, we could tell that Tommy wanted us to have the best event possible. He listened to us and gave us exactly what we wanted and more! He was organized and prompt and made every part of the wedding fun. Plus he is genuinely a great guy. If you’re looking for a DJ in the southern CA region, look no farther than DJ Tommy!

Tommy was awesome! He listened to our music preferences and delivered them masterfully. He read the room well and kept the vibe going. He even got my 78 year old aunt twerking on the dance floor!!

DJ Tommy came recommended by another DJ who we had seen perform at a friends wedding. My husband's name is Tommy D'Orazio, so it felt like fate that we found another Tommy + Apostrophe Last name. We knew he was the one from our first meeting. Tommy was immediately generous with his time and expertise. He was super communicative and organized throughout the entire process: we loved his pre-wedding planning document that helped us give direction on what types of "vibes" we wanted for each part of the night. That way we could have a say in how the music *felt* throughout the evening, without having to put too much thought into the playlist or prescribe specific songs. He was also an excellent MC: spoke when he needed to to help direct the flow of the night, without hogging the mike and making himself the star of the show like we see other DJs do at many other weddings. He facilitated the PERFECT transition from parent dances to guest dancing time: because of his orchestration and fantastic DJing, our dance floor was stuffed the entire night. Our guests still talk about how great the dancing was, and we contribute that all to DJ Tommy. He also became the Father of the Bride's best friend when he helped coordinate the sweetest moment during my dad's speech: my dad wanted to surprise us with a song woven into his speech. Tommy worked with my dad a few weeks before, and on the day, executed the surprise perfectly. We could go on and on. TLDR; Hire DJ Tommy! You won't regret it. We love you Tommy O'!

It was all over for me when I got a Sony Discman on my tenth birthday. As mapped out by NOW Vols. 8-11, I followed my taste through the full catalogs of U2, Too $hort, Ashanti, and Blink-182. Shakira, Ludacris, Mary J, Janet. My folks are Boomers. Time Life collections. The Who. Tom Petty. Jefferson Starship (nee Airplane). That is to say I've enjoyed a huge swath of music my whole life. Now that I'm a DJ, I bring all that with me and blend it with whatever you like. Rufus Du Sol, Disclosure, Daft Punk, Doja Cat. Whitney, Britney, Beyonce, Madonna. Drake, Otis, Fred again.. I love it all.
