DJ Trey is the best!! We wanted a mix of both Latin and American music and he did it perfectly. There was not a moment during the night that there weren’t people on the dance floor. He helped make our wedding perfect!!

They didn’t really listen to the cut off points for the first dance and father/bride dance which was just awkward for us. Regardless, it was a great wedding, and everyone danced!

DJ Trey was absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! He perfectly understood when to cut the music short at my request, showing incredible attentiveness throughout the event. His smooth transitions kept the vibes going all night, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time on the dance floor. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend using this DJ company! For my wedding I was assigned DJ Viet, he did an amazing job getting the party started and keeping the vibes. The 4 hours of dancing felt like 5 minutes!! The sound system was very good and the uplighting was beautiful!
He even worked through some of the wedding party obstacles of us running behind and made sure that everything was seamless. He had great communication during the reception for giving us a heads up on upcoming songs and events (flower toss, cake cutting, etc). He also was really patient with some language barriers from some of our guests song requests. The price for this vendor is great for the quality you are getting! I’m so glad we chose DJ by Trey and had Viet as our DJ.
Preston of DJ Trey Entertainment was a huge part of our reception being a fun time for everyone. He was very professional, and he took great care to make sure the atmosphere was what we were hoping for - not just playing his favorite music. He brought some cool dance floor lights, took care of showing a video we'd made, and really just leveled up our reception.
Preston was our DJ at our May 2024 wedding. He was extremely professional and did an amazing job. He knew exactly what to play and read the room. He helped make our wedding the best day of our lives. We were told it was the best wedding from multiple guests. Would definitely reach out the Preston in the future if we ever host another party and will recommend him to all friends and family.
We worked with Preston to get everything set up, and Trey was our DJ for the wedding. They handled music and emceeing for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I was super impressed by how professional all my communication was with them and how easy everything was. Honestly, they were the easiest vendor that I worked with. They let you pick out and customize the music as much or little as you want. I had put together fairly extensive playlists that Trey had no problem going off of. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat if you're in the Savannah/Charleston area! All our guests had a blast dancing the night away!
DJ Trey & Preston are top notch DJs for any event!!! They DJ'd our corporate Christmas party and had everyone on the dance floor. They turned what could've been a stuffy, boring party into a fun event where everyone let loose and enjoyed themselves. I booked them after attending a wedding they DJ'd where they also did an amazing job. Super professional, fun, and reliable!!! Highly recommend!!!!
DJ Trey was a great choice for our wedding. His team responded promptly to all our emails before the wedding, and he kept all our guests on the dance floor to the very end. The music he chose was on point, and he was super quick in accommodating all the requests our guests had. We also rented the uplights from him, which was a nice extra touch that made our venue look that much more polished. He was the perfect DJ for our reception, and our guest had a fantastic time!

I was very pleased with the professionalism, and ease of knowing Trey stayed on the path planned. I hand picked all the songs because my husband and I had special preferences to our music tastes, and Trey had no problem downloading the YouTube playlist I made for him. He made the night entertaining with games, and special events when he engaged with us, and our guests. He brought along his assistant to help with the photobooth we included in our package as well! I highly recommend Trey Entertainment for your next DJing event!

This DJ service is AWESOME!!! First, they were very easy to contact and set up the wedding date/deposit. Professional and easy to navigate. It took me a long time to decide all the songs I wanted, but Preston was very helpful with the flow of a typical wedding and did not rush me at all. I felt clueless until he gave me much needed advice. The day of the wedding, Preston was super attentive and flexible. He created the vibe I wanted and guided the reception. He was super fun to have around that day and I am so thankful! 10/10 would book again!
Working with DJ Trey was effortless. He was so quick about communication, very detail oriented, and overall cared about giving you the best party ever!
He designed the coolest monogram to be projected on our dance floor and he was so patient with me as I struggled to decide on a design! He had so many good designs to choose from!
I also didn't know that he would cover the front of his dj equipment with a white wooden panel. Most djs I've seen at other weddings have their equipment exposed and I always thought this was completely normal, but Trey made his setup look so elegant this way!
I would highly recommend working with him for any event!

DJ Trey is the guy for your special day! I cannot even explain how much we loved DJ Trey. He was affordable, accommodating, and made our day so incredible. We were so worried about music at our wedding due to being an interracial couple from different sides of the country. BUT DJ Trey played something for everyone and kept the party going all night long. He has a vast knowledge of all genres of music and allowed us to make song requests. He even served as the perfect MC for our shoe game and announcements.

DJ Trey was absolutely great. We are millennials who wanted 90s music as well as our cultural Filipino and Salvadoran music and all the party line dances. I was afraid I had requested too much, but he did everything plus more. He knows how to read the room and play what the crowd enjoys most. I wish I had another event soon to hire him again. Trey & Ben did an exceptional job at our wedding. They followed our requested songs and had our guests dancing! My mom even complimented the mix which got her dancing too! They were very professional and focused on making sure the bride, groom and all guests were happy and dancing. They even took song requests which made guests happy!

Raised in Aynor, South Carolina, Trey attended the University of South Carolina Honors College before making Columbia his home. DJ Trey has deep roots in the state of South Carolina, with family from Greenville to Myrtle Beach. He started DJ Trey Entertainment in 2017 after a few years of working at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. He recently earned his Public History MA at the University of South Carolina. He hosts weekly karaoke nights and enjoys playing folk music and producing music for local artists.
