It was very important to us to attempt to book both female vendors and musicians, artists, designers and entertainers of color. We knew that going into our wedding day, anything could happen (and boy, do we have stories!!), but we also knew that she would help make our evening very special, and did she ever. First, DJ Valentina provided excellent sound support for the ceremony, which took place outdoors, about 150 yards from the actual reception building. The wireless mics were crystal clear and she provided comfortable volume for the attendees. Second, as a musician myself, I had a surprise planned for the reception - an acoustic serenade for Danielle. DJ Valentina and I briefly discussed the plan a few days prior to the wedding. While cocktail hour was taking place on the patio, she setup a single Bose tower with a wireless mic for the serenade. We did a very quick and discrete soundcheck while Danielle was mingling. With a simple, "you got this" and a hi-five, I felt really good about making this work. In my opinion, the surprise was a big success, and I could not have pulled it off without the diligent help and support she provided. Third, DJ Valentina rocks! While we gave her some ideas of our musical preferences, she began reading our crowd as soon as they arrived. We have a diverse range of friends and family and she had everyone dancing with a multi-genre mix while sprinkling in all of our favorites - the more Whitney, the better! She even snuck out from behind her DJ booth a few times to hit the dance floor with our guests - everyone loved it! Lastly, DJ Valentina is the consummate professional and an amazing talent. She is incredibly fun to be around - people gravitate to her. She is also so reassuring, before, during and after the event. And most importantly, you can just tell that she loves people - she is a kind, positive force. Thank you, DJ Valentina! Book her now. We made up our minds 2.5 years ago and are so happy we did.

-Pain to Bad Bunny and bachata, she played it all. She took our requests and "do not plays" into account, and any songs she added were exactly the vibe we wanted. She has an incredible skill for feeling the vibe of a party and the music personality of the group and plays into that!

She was able to read the room and got everyone from all ages out on the dance floor at some point in the night. She was so kind, clearly loves her job, and was dedicated to seeing us enjoy our wedding night. From our first phone call we could immediately tell she knew the exact vibe we were going for. She also was able to provide an amazing open-air photo booth and up-lighting, both of which we knew we wanted. When it came to the wedding day, I cannot put into words how FUN and LIVELY she made that dance floor. Her ability to mix music (so that songs blended into each other), read the room, and just keep the excitement at a level 100 was unreal! Without a doubt the one piece of feedback we heard from guests over and over was "Oh my god, your DJ was INCREDIBLE!" In addition to the amazing dance floor, Valentina was also so great at MCing the event! The way she announced our wedding party and us just got everyone so, so excited to celebrate. I could go on and on. She is just an unbelievably kind, attentive, stylish, and TALENTED DJ! Hiring Valentina for your wedding will be the absolute best decision you could ever make. While she did take into account the things that we asked for in our reception music, it was nice to be able to sit back and trust her expertise. Valentina is incredibly skilled at reading a room and figuring out exactly what types of music should be played when. Many of my guests commented to me throughout the night how incredible the DJ was and were excited to find that she was willing to take requests. Our wedding was a non-stop dance party which is exactly what we wanted. DJ Valentina kept the dance floor packed and everybody had an incredibly fun time. We can not thank her enough for bringing so much joy to our big day.

the day, Valentina was at our venue early, making sure the uplighting (which looked AMAZING) and setup were exactly as we discussed. She provided excellent music for our ceremony, and coordinated with our venue stuff/wedding officiant to make sure everything went smoothly, all without even knowing she was there! During the reception though, our guests CERTAINLY knew she was there. Whether it was through dinner or all through the night, DJ Valentina kept the dance floor packed, and we literally had so many of our guests come up and tell us how great of a time they were having because of the music! We also had some peculiar specific music requests (Portuguese/Jewish songs) and Valentina integrated those into the night seamlessly! Simply put, if you're looking for an amazing wedding DJ, you can do no better than Valentina.

In addition, the beautiful uplighting transformed our space from a tall ballroom (Providence G) to a romantic, intimate, club atmosphere that became more and more beautiful as the sun set. It is no surprise that DJ Valentina is one of the most coveted DJs in the area; our wedding planner was giddy when hearing we were working with her as she had been waiting to meet her. Her professionalism, her true artistic talent, and her ability to make a room feel alive made our wedding the best day of our lives and we will be forever grateful. Our family and friends are very into dancing & entertainment and DJ Valentina was the first vendor we had booked. In fact my husband and I picked our wedding date based on her availability because she is just that good! I went to two of my friends' weddings with her performing and we knew we needed to book her. For our Cape Verdean/Portuguese American wedding it was great to have a Cape Verdean DJ that was able to effortlessly mix all of the music together. There was dancing before dinner even arrived at our tables and the whole party danced the night away. Everyone had a wonderful time and we most definitely have DJ Valentina and her assistant to thank for that! 10/10 recommendation! Great talent, great person to work with! We love you

Background music for our Hindu ceremony, top hits for our cocktail hour, playing our first-dance soundtrack which was only available on YouTube, and importantly, keeping all our our wedding guests dancing straight into the night with a mix of top hits, throwbacks, bollywood, you name it!!! Additionally, Valentina handled all the logistics of setup with our venue / coordinator directly, so we didn't have to worry about any of it. I also loved that Valentina was extremely flexible and excited to accommodate our own styles, but also made her own suggestions based on her experience. It was such a pleasure - I want to have another party asap just to party with Valentina again!

We felt so lucky that she had our date available and booked her over the phone the second she said that she was free. Throughout the entire wedding planning process every time a vendor asked us who our DJ was and we told them all we heard was "oh my gosh, you guys are going to have the best wedding", "you guys are going to love her, she is the absolute best", "oh you guys are so lucky you got her, she will keep the entire party dancing all night". She not only lived up to the hype, she far exceeded all that we even could have imagined or hoped for. She kept us on the dance floor the ENTIRE night, including our parents and their friends. Throughout the wedding people kept coming up to us saying how they had never been to such a fun wedding and asking who our DJ was and how we found her. After the wedding several people reached out asking for her information because they had so much fun and liked her so much. She was so lovely as a person, so accommodating, provided excellent guidance and advice when it came to first dance and dances with our parents. If you have the chance to book DJ Valentina do it without hesitation. If you aren't engaged yet but know that you will be soon, book her. You know she is good when all the other vendors in the industry were giddy to hear you got her. We had high standards and she truly blew those away and then more. Best EVER.

ll the songs we wanted played and we chatted about them a couple days before the wedding to clarify everything. She knew exactly the part of the chorus to play for certain songs and did a phenomenal job. On the day of she just looked so cool and classy, her DJ booth was completely white and was so elegant and chic. The monogram she designed for our reception looked amazing, and the uplighting color she had matched my prominent wedding color perfectly. It elevated the look of the room even more! From the time the dance floor opened to when the reception ended my husband and I barely left the dance floor. We just had so much fun. She played a really good blend through dinner and into the night. She really takes your input and makes it perfect. We had SO many compliments about her I can't even count! With her we knew exactly what we were getting with no guesses or what if's. She is a master in that booth! One of our best decisions for sure! 3 weeks later and people are still talking about how much fun they had and how the DJ killed it! Thank you Valentina, for helping us party our way into our new marriage!!

vidence Public Library which is a funky space, with different rooms so we really needed to rely on Dj Valentina to keep things flowing smoothly, and she did just that. I also appreciate that a couple of times throughout the night she checked in with me subtly and quickly just to make sure we were happy with the music-- and we were! Also, we made it very clear to her that FUN and partying was super important to us, and she made sure to keep the energy up and read the room. The only reason this is not a perfect 5 star review, is because one of our songs on the *must play* list she didn't play until the second to last song so it read as our last dance when I really just wanted it as a middle of the night song. But that's me being picky, most people I don't think would care about this. BUT everything else was great. If I could give 4.75 starts I would. I would 100% recommend her.
