DJ Will deejayed a work event virtually and made it fun, energetic, and was very professional. He was appreciative of the audience, inclusive and warm while also keeping on track ...
and on schedule. Really good at reading the crowd and making the celebration feel personalized to that event (Diwali). So thud was not a wedding but I wholeheartedly recommend him.
We hired DJ Will Gill back in early 2020 after meeting him at his booth for a wedding convention. We interviewed plenty of DJs and everyone was great, but Will stuck out from the r...
est with his high energy and charisma. We had to postpone our wedding a couple of times due to COVID and each time he was very understanding and helpful in rescheduling. We were able to choose the exact options we were looking for from his wide and customizable package catalog, and he was able to accommodate the audio set up for the 3 different areas - ceremony, cocktail, and reception - that we had.
In preparation for our wedding, he provided a shared spreadsheet that we could list specific song choices or playlist for each of the reception moments (cocktail hour, dinner, entrance, dance moments, etc.) and any notes to cover in our meeting with him about one month before the wedding day. During the meeting, we went over the song choices, pronunciations of names, and the timeline breakdown of the event so that everything would run as smoothly as possible. Will also worked directly with our coordinator in going over the timeline as well.
On the wedding day, he was a one man production that kept all of the guests entertained, hyped up, and active on the dance floor. Will was on top of everything, sticking perfectly to the timeline, hitting every unique cue that we discussed during our meeting, and was very energetic and professional during each MC announcement and transition to the next moment. Then when it came to the dance floor, Will killed it! Our biggest pet peeves are when DJs don't read the room so they let songs play too long or don't transition well into the next hit. No problem at all for Will! He was always on top of every song, reading everyone's reactions and whether the song was hitting or not, and making the right transition to the next song when the moment called for it. He also kept note of exactly who was on the dance floor, playing the current club and retro hits for the younger crowd, while also catering to the older guests with line dances and oldies whenever they took over the majority. The dance floor was never empty throughout the night and many of our guests complimented the song selection throughout the night and after the party.
For the total package of a wedding MC and DJ, we recommend DJ Will Gill!
DJ Will was a joy to have and definitely kept the party going! There were a few hiccups and he was not clear on the instructions for games and dances, but overall he was a blast!
Fantastic MC and DJ!! We had contracted him for our event Sept 2020, he showcased his many talents from sound-editing, MC/DJ and took charge of hosting the live-streaming via Zoom ...
with his business partner which was amazing for our guests who could not attend in person. Will is exceptional at his trade, a true professional from start to finish.
We would love to use his services again and would highly recommend!
My wedding guests still can't stop talking about our fabulous DJ! Not only is he an AMAZING DJ, but his entertaining skills are top notch.
I hired DJ Will Gill for my May 2020 we...
dding. As my first vendor choice, I was immediately impressed by his professionalism. I wanted a DJ who was an actual DJ, not DJing as a part time new hobby, and one who was also an entertainer, that's exactly what I found!! His prices are very reasonable. He provided my husband and I with a great spreadsheet to use when coming up with our wedding music. When our wedding was postponed due to covid-19, he graciously moved to our new date. Later, our wedding venue burned down and we had to change venues, again he seamlessly transitioned to the new venue. During our prep zoom meeting, he was able to get both my Husband and I excited again about our wedding. The day of the wedding he was dressed professionally. (I've been to far too many weddings where the DJ is not dressed appropriately.) Throughout the wedding, guests continued to comment about the great music and his entertaining skills. He truly got the crowd hyped during our reception, from the wedding party entrances, the shoe game, toasts, and dancing. I'm so grateful to Will for everything he did to make our wedding magical. I 100% recommend DJ Will Gill! (Pictures to follow!!). Do yourself a favor, hire Will Gill, you won't regret it.
We were super happy with DJ Will Gill as our emcee and DJ. He did an awesome job from the time we booked him all the way up through the night of our event. He was very organized an...
d kept us on track each step of the way. His packages are totally customizable, so budgeting was a breeze! He was able to keep in contact with both my wife-to-be and I, while also secretly communicating with me to arrange for some special surprise songs for my wife. He was able to keep everything on the down-low and it was a great surprise when it happened on our big day! He was totally able to read the room’s energy level and kept the party going at just the right level the whole night. Would totally recommend him again for any wedding/party/event. Thanks Will!!
Will is by far is the most fun, professional, amazing, DJ there ever was...and did I say fun?? He had my 85 year old grandmother on the dance floor. He's very easy to work with and...
super accommodating. People kept telling me that it was the best wedding they'd ever gone to, and I would honestly reply "That's because of my DJ". Thank you Will!!
Booked Will for DJ/Emcee for my wedding. He was awesome the entire way, from start to finish. Here are some deets:
Pre-Wedding:
Met Will at bridal convention in LA. His booth was...
hosting a ring toss game to get people discounts on packages. Super welcoming and friendly booth so I was interested right off the bat.
Other DJ's I had inquired with were either too expensive or wasn't responsive. Will was super communicative through email.
Met up in person with Will to talk about details. He had all his ducks in a row and we could tell he was experienced.
Wedding Day:
Showed up on time to set up. Looked sharp.
Performance: Loved the confidence and experience I felt through his work. No awkwardness or anything for cause for concern. You can tell he's very good at what he does. In the end, was SUPER happy with Will and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.
Other pros: Super nice dude, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, good pricing.
BOOK THIS MAN!
Our wedding was perfect and You were amazing! Thank you so much brotha! Everyone loved it and had so many compliments for you! Thanks again!
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Will at our wedding. Thank you for making it so fun - we loved every moment of it and wished it could have lasted all night!! We will be...
recommending you to EVERYONE! All of our guests were coming up to us saying how great he is. He listened to our concerns and never made us feel bad about our requests, and was just so kind and upbeat all night. Thank you again!
I met Will at a bridal show in Los Angeles and we immediately loved his energy and personality! My fiancé and I lived in Sacramento and we were getting married in DTLA. Will was so...
wonderful and accommodating and chatted with us via FaceTime because of the distance. We immediately knew we wanted to hire him and he would be perfect for our wedding. He had such an easy spreadsheet to help us organizing the music and timeline of our night. He was amazing at suggesting songs when we needed it and we 100% felt we could trust him to pick songs he thought would flow well with the wedding.
A few months before the wedding our original wedding venue shut down unexpectedly. Will went above and beyond and offered to help us find a new venue. He was so accommodating and was understanding when we had to change all the details we originally discussed when we had to change to our new venue.
My husband and I highly recommend Will if you are looking for an amazing wedding Dj! He was professional, fun, prompt in all communication and got everyone on the dance floor!
I got married back on June 15th 2019, and let me tell you the BEST part of our wedding... DJ Will. He is nothing short of amazing. His personality is off the charts, he has the con...
fidence you’re looking for. He reads the crowd, there were not many people that were still sitting, and let me say, our families aren’t big into dancing. Everyone had an amazing time. I received so many compliments on DJ Will. The energy, fun loving spirit, and responsibility just shine from him. He stayed on top of things, even when my coordinator was getting very overwhelmed. He led the night and I can’t imagine what would have happened, if he was not there with me. He always came up to us and ran all decisions through us and he ran away with the night and KILLED it! He MADE our wedding reception. Thank you, Will!! Keep up with every single thing you’re doing. It’s working and I have been telling everyone about you as a referral!
Will was absolutely incredible. We met him at the LA Bridal Expo and he had us hooked the moment we met him. Great energy, great music and great guy! Communication was super fast ...
and professional. When it came down to the details for our songs for our wedding, he was always open to everything we asked from him. He is just a genuine, kind person as well as a talented DJ! He just gets the whole wedding scene. He knows how to keep the dance floor full and made the flow of the wedding seamless. I will always suggest him to DJ events because he was fabulous!!!
DG Will Gill! My gosh, we loved this man, and so did our wedding guests! We got married on 8/10/19, and DJ Gill was one of our best decisions! In every way, he was a true professio...
nal... from meeting with us, to getting to know the music we like, and learning our crowd- it was super easy to trust him from the start! On the wedding day, he ran all our jams from the ceremony to reception. He also took the lead with coordinating directly with our other vendors so we could enjoy our day/night as a couple! One thing we love about Will is that he is really personable over the mic in helping run the night! And that dance floor- oooooh boy! We gave some input to songs, but Will is amazing with feeling your crowd and making song picks to keep the party going... I think we almost put a hole through our venue floor that night- LOL! :) I swear SO many of our guests said, "great wedding, but AWESOME DJ!" . DJ Will, a million stars! Thank you for being part of our special day!!
DJ Will Gill...simply outstanding! He has the warm charm, the solid personality, and the ultimate vibe to mix for a wedding reception. As the mother of the groom, I was hoping the ...
bride and groom picked someone that would be a great fit for our eclectic mix of guests. DJ Will was perfect! He's soulful, humble and played a great mix of music in terrific order. Towards the end, he came off the stage and "slid" with the groom during one of the last songs. Such a perfect fit for us...loved, loved, loved him and enthusiastically recommend him for any event!
DJ Will Gill was the MC for our wedding and he was simply incredible. Music was very important to us, so having a DJ who was technically good at mixing was a requirement. In this...
regard, DJ Will Gill did not disappoint. DJ Will Gill chose an excellent choice of songs, read the crowd appropriately and kept the energy high. Also, DJ Will Gill kept his presence low key, focusing on the music which is exactly what he wanted. As a professional entertainer, he is definitely able to provide you with what you want out of an MC. If I could give 6 stars I would.
Will Gill was our DJ/MC entertainer for my Grandson's first birthday party. Will was amazing! We had 150 adults and children at a Country Club in Palos Verdes, California. He kn...
ew exactly how to get the party started by bringing energy and fun with great music and games for everyone at the party! From our first communication to our meeting in person before the event, Will was friendly, thorough, and very professional. He worked with us to create the ideal party. If we had known about Will Gill before my daughter's wedding, we would have been so happy to have him DJ/MC the wedding. I would definitely recommend him for any wedding, any party, any occasion. He knows how to bring fun, excitement, and energy to any event! We can't wait to have him come back to DJ/MC our next party in August 2019!
DJ Will Gill was our favorite vendor! We met him at a bridal show and he was extremely professional setting up introduction calls and follow up calls to determine the our detailed ...
needs. He was also extremely patient in walking us through the process - we were pretty clueless and scrambled right up to the day. I never knew how helpful it would be to hire a genuinely nice person, until it was my wedding day and I was irritated with literally every other vendor except our DJ! He played songs on our list and added music that really hit our genres perfectly. The best compilation on 90s/2000's hip hop r&b for cocktail hour and incredible oldies at the start of our party. Of course, the modern music for the remainder of the night kept many people dancing or at least entertained. Six months later and we still get comments from wedding guests about how good our DJ was. I will definitely recommend DJ Will and hire him if I have another big event. He's a great DJ and a standup guy.
DJ Will Gill did an amazing job with my wedding reception! From start to finish, Will maintained the energy and kept the entire evening on track. His professionalism and personalit...

turnt the f* up the entire evening - ok? He read the vibe of the guests and attuned the music so it wasn't just one thing all night, and special shoutout to him taking my Colombian grandmother's request haha! Such a fun and awesome experience with a guy who knows his shit and is down to make your wedding POPPIN' and memorable!

Will was not just the DJ at our wedding but was the person who smoothed out all the bumps and made the night perfect! From the first time we spoke on the phone, he was nothing but ...
helpful. From squaring away the uplights to the actual schedule, he was there to help me pull it all together. Nothing timing wise went as planned and because he was so flexible, he was able to go with the flow and everything still went perfect. He showed up hours early to set all our uplighting He created the playlist for our entire cocktail hour, ceremony and grand entrance and had the music down perfect. Everyone loved his choices. If you're looking for a Dj that will go above and beyond, Will is the guy. We cant say what we would have done without him and can't thank him enough for making our wedding the best we could’ve asked for! <3

ould be a great fit. We felt he understood our taste in music and the type of atmosphere we were looking for. He created a package tailored exactly to our budget and needs. He even checked in on us leading up to the wedding to be sure we were doing well and if we needed anything. He was very flexible and professional. Our guests continuously commented on how amazing the DJ was and we couldn’t agree more. Everything was flawless and we highly recommend DJ Will!

ore challenging. Will reassured us to relax and that he would take care of everything; in which he did.
Will coordinated the flow of our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception using one of his preset templates and it was seamless. The music he played was on point with everything that we wanted. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night having such a great time. You know the party is a good time when everyone is chanting "one more song" at the end of the reception. So many people told me how great the DJ was. Will was very professional and a pleasure to work with. If you want a wedding that is fun and not corny - you can’t go wrong with Will Gill. Can’t say enough good things about his services. Thanks.
For our wedding we used WGE for DJ services and up lighting. Both were perfect! My DJ, Will was very personable and kept my family of non-dancers on the dance floor all night long!...
The up lighting was perfect and the exact color that we requested. We loved that they were wireless! Will went above and beyond to make sure our night went smoothly with much success! We had a great time and would recommend WGE to anyone in need of a DJ.
