Karma DJs, DJ Yogi and DJ Janam are INCREDIBLE! Never a doubt we were going to use this group for a milestone birthday event. Though DJ Yogi couldn't make it - his team was just amazing from beginning to end. Yogi suggested a DJ for our event and we were beyond satisfied. The planning, professionalism, set-up and communication was impeccable throughout our planning and event day. They scoped the event site and were set-up ahead of time and ready to go! DJ Janam played upbeat music throughout the multi-hour event keeping our guests happy and spirits high throughout the night. The final two hours were jam-packed on the dance floor with high energy and spirits, smooth transitions, and amazing attitudes and flexibility. This crew is the best and we HIGHLY recommend them for ANY event you want a DJ for! They made the night seamless and so memorable!!

First off I must say, wedding planning is so stressfull. Especially for DJ and sound. They can make or break your party! In terms of price and affordability they are extremely flexible and willing to work with you. If you do decide to book them, ask for DJ JANAM. He absolute KILLED it!! I was very particular with music choice since my wedding was a half Bengali and Half vietnamese wedding. But he nailed every single song choice and effortlessly mixed them well. He took my requests into consideration and played my list of songs and when he did his own thing it was amazing. Not even trying to be biased but that was one of the best DJs for an event. He had everyone on the dancefloor and having a good time which to me is the most important thing. Highly recommend DJ Janam!

At first I was hesitant because our venue had a DJ in place, but I’m SO GLAD we decided to go with these guys instead!! Worth every penny, genuinely. They got on the dance floor with us and encouraged all our guests to join (even showed the uninitiated how to do a couple Bollywood moves!), and they were so attentive and in-tune with us that everything went smoother than I could have possibly imagined. Not only with getting everyone hyped, but they also helped with transitioning everyone from one place to the next (which removed SO much stress). If I could give more than five stars, I would!

Karma DJs are phenomenal. When our sangeet venue canceled the day of the event and we had to scramble to find a new location, DJ Masti and MC Abbas did a brilliant job setting up in the new venue at the last minute. They brought a wonderful party feeling to the event; our guests were talking about it for weeks. DJ Janam and MC Kunal were genuinely spectacular - for our wedding day, they played the perfect mix of music, they ensured our guests had a blast, they brought the energy, and they were very involved in every hour of the day to make sure everything went smoothly and on time. Our guests were totally enthralled with their presentation and ability, our friends were talking about them for weeks as well! Karma DJs absolutely exceeded our expectations for our mixed culture Indian/American reception! The planning process was very simple and Janam and Que were so laid back during the coordination. The communication was very clear and it was extremely easy to work with them leading up to the event. On the day of they were a breath of fresh air and helped to ease our nerves during pictures in the venue! During the dance floor the vibes could not have been better! We were apprehensive leading up to the dance floor due to the mixed crowd, but all our tensions were eased as soon as the even started. They knew exactly how to manage our crowd and keep people engaged in the dance floor! We would recommend them 10 times over!!

We had a Mehndi/Haldi event in the morning and a reception in the evening. This was a mixed culture wedding and Emcee Q and Dj Janam did a phenomenal job at not only bringing together two families, but bringing together two cultures. From the planning, to the emcee and music the day of, everything was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with a vendor. In addition, even the administrative process for planning and communication before the wedding was splendid. We highly recommend using Karma DJs and a special shoutout to Emcee Q and DJ Janam for their amazing work.

Yogi is one of the most organized, efficient, caring and knowledgeable wedding vendors I worked with in planning my wedding! Our DJ experience was completely stress free because he helped us each step of the way and DJ Masti was such a pleasure to work with as well. We cannot thank them enough!

Yogi knew exactly what I needed for my wedding when I first consulted KarmaDJs. We had a large blended wedding, and both sides were very pleased with DJ Scoop's set. MC Q was an addition Yogi suggested. Q was absolutely amazing. He not only translated between English and Urdu, he hyped up the crowd and taught dance moves. He also helped us execute a table dash where we ran to each table for some quick pictures over the course of a song. Scoop and Q worked smoothly together as well as with my coordinator and photographer. I give them both the highest recommendation.

Absolutely amazing DJ!!! Alex, Yogi, and David were fantastic. One of our biggest things for our wedding was to have everyone on the dance floor and for it to be a huge party. It was nothing short of that thanks to Yogi! They were able to totally cater the music to our taste - we didn’t want too much Indian played, and they totally rocked it. It was a lovely mix of everything we asked for - hip hop, Taylor swift, EDM, and a ton more - but they blended it so well. I honestly don’t think that the music at our wedding could have been any better! The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE TIME with people of all ages. We had so many friends and family compliment and even a few people who are getting married ask for their info! 11/10 recommend!

Yogi and Alex know how to throw a party! Couldn't be happier with them. Such great energy and everyone of all ages and walks of life partied with us. Yogi had some initial conversations with us and got to know us a little bit - our story and our huge range of taste in music.   We then got to meet Alex who was extremely detail oriented and carved time with me and my wife separately. Alex wanted to make sure he got all of our music preferences down for all entrances from parents, bridal parties, surprise shoutouts and dance floor. Alex was extremely flexible and allowed us to send him playlists we liked for cocktail and dance floor time as well. He did a great job mixing with our preferred playlists. We liked a lot of rap and r&b strings and piano for the cocktail hour. When the dance floor opened up, Alex incorporated all the oldies, early 2000s and recent music as well. Great job blending it all together!!  Alex is also really good at song recommendation and does not resort to mainstream songs. So if you don't have a good song in mind for an entrance or whatnot he will give you his input whether it's American, Bollywood or Malayalam.  Alex paid close attention to detail and even was able to incorporate songs and artists I didn't know that my wife really liked. DJ Alx and Yogi, thank y'all big time for taking care of us and our guests. Everyone partied hard!  Shoutout to Abbas aka MC Q. He did a great job bringing in the energy and getting the guests attention for everything on our program. Great party and we will definitely refer y'all in the future!! -Ebi & Sarah 

Dynamic duo alert- DJ Masti and Emcee Cuee from Karma DJs! The DJ and emcee tandem was the heartbeat of our event. The DJ's playlist was a groove masterpiece, while the emcee's charisma kept the energy soaring. Seamless transitions, infectious enthusiasm, and a knack for reading the crowd – they're the architects of a memorable night. Hope we can get an encore sometime in the future. The DJ coordinator- Yogi’s communication skills were also commendable, as he worked closely with us to understand our preferences and incorporate special requests. Overall, a fantastic job that significantly contributed to the success of the event!

Can’t recommend this team enough. As a lifelong musician marrying a lifelong dancer, my biggest priority (other than marrying my wife) was the AV setup and execution for our 400+ person wedding. Yogi, Alx, and Q made this a breeze, and their years of experience showed. We had multiple live music performances, dance performances, and speeches, all of which sounded flawless. The lighting set up was incredible too. The whole day was truly surreal and magical in huge part due to these guys. Ultra flexible, amazingly responsive, extremely professional. So grateful to all of them for taking care of us and making sure we had the best day of our lives.

I highly recommend Karma DJs for any of your events! I had already attended several Karma DJs weddings prior to my own wedding and always had such a fun experience. Yogi was very easy to communicate with and work with, he understood our needs and matched us with the right crew. DJ Janam and Abbas were the absolute best! Our guests have not stopped talking about how great the music was, they loved the transitions between songs and Janam was so good about playing the right songs at the right time, really good mix of Bollywood and American songs. I had gone to several Karma DJ weddings before planning my own wedding. They created such a fun and upbeat environment each time, so when it was time to plan my own wedding, I knew they would be my first choice for a DJ. I’ve known Yogi for over a decade and have had the pleasure of attending numerous events he has DJ’d for. The vibe he creates is unmatched! It was no question that when it came time to plan our wedding, he would be our DJ. Yogi is always professional, reliable, and a literal magician with music. We hired DJ Yogi from Karma DJs for our wedding in Mexico City. It was a typical Indian wedding - spanning 4 different events. Every guest loved the variety of music and the entire weekend was seamlessly managed. Wedding planning is hard, especially in a different country, and Yogi ensured that we would not have to worry. He managed us when we needed to be told what to do, he listened to feedback on music, and he easily collaborated with a number of vendors. Even though the event was highly-customized, it felt like a turnkey solution (incredible valuable when we had 100 other things to worry about!).

KarmaDJs was the best! I'm black and my wife is Pakistani and so we had an amazing blended wedding. Yogi and DJ Scoop were able to nail both of our cultures and music choices. They were there on time, they had consultations with us and just helped make our wedding so seamless. I told them that once that party started, I wanted people dancing and there was never one point that that dance floor was empty. Karma DJs/DJ Yogi has been a staple of the Houston wedding scene for decades. You always know when you see him as the DJ at a wedding that it’s going to be amazing. We used the company/DJ Masti for a smaller event for my husband’s bday party. Everything was done professionally, on time and the music we requested was a perfect blend of American 80’s/90’s/hip hop and Bollywood. Wouldn’t even hesitate to call them again for any other event we may have in the future.

We needed a DJ who would be able to play tejano, cumbia, bollywood, and bhangra and DJ Alx did not disappoint! Though he had limited experience with spanish music, he took it upon himself to learn about it and all his effort was evident during our events. We received so many compliments from our guests on the music at our wedding. DJ Alx did a wonderful job balancing the music for the Mexican and Punjabi sides! Our dance floor was never clear. What I found to be especially unique about DJ Alx is his ability to feel the vibe of the crowd. He receives feedback tremendously and he genuinely listened to mine and the groom's input. He also knew when to play certain genres at specific events or near the beginning or end of the night. DJ Alx was superb at creating the exact vibe we were looking for at our wedding and MC Lakha did a great job at facilitating it. MC Lakha was so interactive with our guests, he was even dance battling with a guest at one point. Together, they both made our big day so much fun for us and all our guests- Mexican and Punjabi. I would definitely book them again.

We had attended several events with DJ Yogi and crew playing the music. We had so much fun that we had to hire him for our event. Everyone loved the mixes and selections and had a great time on the dance floor.

I’m a Latina and my husband and I wanted a blend of Latin music and country music to honor both families. I already knew it would be amazing and was still blown away on my wedding day by the production of the team and talent of DJ ALX. He was intuitive to what the dancing crowd wanted. Transitions between songs were smooth, seamless , and did not feel jumpy nor choppy at all. They put the party in our After Party. 10/10 recommend!

DJ Janam, MC Q and Dave Sharm (Dhol Player) put on an amazing reception from start to finish. The Dhol performance had the entire crowd moving and grooving. DJ Janam understood the dynamic of our crowd - most of the guests at our wedding were from different cultures so the song selection was right on target to get everyone to dance. MC Q was very experienced and understood the crowd control aspect, along with being very communicative in the order of events. I'm big on wanting the music to enhance the experience of the wedding and felt that Karma DJs did just that for our reception. The only issue we had was the coordination and planning part of their services. Since Yogi had not worked at the venue before he came out personally for a tour and to be honest it was not the best situation, cause it was his opinions overpowering ours, the venue manager was not a fan either. So a tip for clients: be more assertive. Overall, we would say the execution of the event was successful and with most experiences with vendors, there will be bumps in the road. We appreciate Karma DJs for making that day a memorable one.

My husband and I used KarmaDJs for multiple events during our Indian/American fusion wedding that took place in Spring, TX in late March 2022. DJ ALX performed aa our Sangeet on Friday night, the Baraat on Saturday morning, and our reception Saturday night. MC Q was our MC for the Saturday morning Baraat and our Saturday night reception. From the beginning of the planning process, DJ Yogi and DJ ALX were both very professional and responsive. We had a couple of initial calls with them to give them an idea of our ideas for the wedding and high level vibes we were going for. Both were very attentive and listened carefully to what we were envisioning for our special day. As the wedding got closer, we had two to three timeline calls with DJ ALX to walk through the events and timeline for the weekend. DJ ALX took several notes as we spoke and made sure to ask questions to make sure he had a clear picture of what we were hoping to do. Outside of just these planned calls, both DJ ALX and DJ Yogi were always eager to answer questions/help in anyway. DJ ALX and MC Q absolutely crushed the entertainment during the weekend. I can not emphasize enough how much value they added to our wedding and the dance floor. As we were having a fusion wedding, we wanted to be sure to have a good mix of Indian music as well as American music. DJ ALX fully understood what we were going for- as requested, he put a heavy emphasis on Indian music during our Friday night Sangeet while also incorporating some recent American hits (even some that has Indian music remixes). Saturday morning during the Baraat DJ ALX and MC Q helped keep the hype going for the entire 30 mins. MC Q and DJ ALX added so much to the atmosphere of our wedding reception on Saturday night. Before the bridal party entrances he asked us what level of "hype" we wanted and we said MAX hype. MC Q had people up standing and waving their napkins while DJ ALX brought the hype up with the music. They really understood the "fusion" aspect of the wedding and even helped to teach some of the American attendees easy ways to learn Indian dance moves. The dance floor both Friday and Saturday night were packed the whole night!! We are so incredibly happy that we chose to use KarmaDJs for our wedding events. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a group that is professional, creative, and a ton of fun! Thank you KARMADJs for all the great memories you help create!

We were lucky enough to have DJ Yogi at DJ Masti for our wedding events-- I could not recommend them more. Both really know how to read a crowd, bring the energy and make sure everyone feels included. We could not have been happier with the way they brought the party to all of our events. DJ Masti was our DJ for a smaller mehndi event at our house, with a large dispersed crowd. He was able to engage everyone and make sure the music was accessible but still energetic. He came early to set up and was very independent and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Highly recommend! DJ Yogi covered our Sangeet, Wedding and Reception and can easily say our wedding would not have been the same without him. He never played the same song twice, catered to everyone's needs and was constantly present and there for us whenever we needed something or if the party needed a boost. He took requests from us ahead of time and spent hours with us planning everything. When we had to pivot quickly at our reception from our initial plan, he ran with it and made everything go seamlessly. He integrated so well with our other vendors. The care, commitment and creativity Yogi put into our wedding was unparalleled. Our guests had never seen anything like the set-up Yogi put together with the music videos playing and friends are still talking about how hype our DJ was. Music can make or break an event. Let it make your event- if you're looking for a group of DJs to bring the party- this is them. You won't regret it!

Honestly so so happy with our decision to book DJ Yogi - I wish I could go back to my Sangeet night so I could relive the music, the party, the hype. Yogi had a huge part in making our sangeet so successful.

Great experience with this team! Really helped to bring the energy to all of our events. They were flexible with our crazy schedules and were receptive to tailoring song choices for our audience. Very few technical difficulties, overall things went smoothly. They helped to make our big day very special.

DJ masti just rocked our reception event. He was on time, well prepared and was well coordinated with our emcees through our hour long performances. He kept nice music going during dinner. Once the dance floor opened, we had all our guests partying hard thanks to the great selection of songs. DJ Yogi who was our coordinator was very helpful. We searched long and hard for a DJ who could play all types of music, someone who would be able to feel the vibes of our crowd and adjust accordingly, and someone who just LIT up the dance floor. DJ Yogi took the time to listen to our request for a variety of music selections to be played during the reception for our family and friends to enjoy. In addition, we requested additional services for musical selections to be played during the ceremony, which was perfect and on time. My wife and I got married the very day before the nationwide lockdown in March 2020. News that the world was going to change slowly trickled through the wedding day and into the reception night. DJ Yogi and Karma DJs were our party hosts for the event, and like many wedding vendors that day, they probably realized that our wedding would be their last one for a while. Some vendors understandably backed out that very day. But DJ Yogi was there and was more than ready to go. Straight up brought his A-game the whole day! He killed for the baraat, the hindu and christian ceremonies, and our reception. Our guests literally could not stop raving about the music he played during the reception. People still come up to us - almost 1.5 years later - and talk about their final party of the before-times, and the first thing they mention is how awesome DJ Yogi's send-off set was. Additionally, working with Karma DJs was super easy. We gave them a mix of songs we needed to hear and they made sure to incorporate them while also feeling the party out to keep everyone up and dancing. Super professional, fun, and prepared. All the things you want from a wedding vendor and more.

Before my wedding I never really gave much thought to the DJ. I figured they all were the same. But I realize it makes a pretty big difference and DJ Yogi and Karma Dj's were FANTASTIC. We were recommended to DJ Yogi-G (Karma DJs) by many friends and family members prior to our wedding and they could not have been more correct. We loved working with KarmaDjs! Yogi was incredible in helping us figure out our needs and plan out all our music. Then during our actual events, DJ Masti along with DJ ALX and Dholi Z were awesome in reading the crowd and figuring out the type of music that everyone loved. They played a great mix of all kinds of music. For our Indian wedding, they played a great mix of Hindi, Panjabi, English, and Spanish music. After our wedding, multiple people told us how much they loved the music and how they wanted to have this team at their wedding! DJ Yogi and his team (Karma DJ's) was the best experience! They DJ-ed for our Sangeet and our wedding reception and I must say they did such an amazing job! From day one of working with them they were open to our ideas and they also helped put in their ideas and executed it all for our wedding weekend! Yogi always made time for conference calls to make sure every detail was planned out so they could give us exactly what we want which me and my husband really appreciated. We also got our lighting with Karma and both events lighting set the mood and looked perfect with our decor. For our wedding, we had a special stage set up with a riser and a screen behind and Yogi was able to video DJ - This was AWESOME! Amazing DJ and worth the money! I’m not really a party person so I was worried how much fun people would have at my reception. However, I shouldn’t have been worried after booking these guys because they were absolutely fantastic! The DJ was awesome, the music choices were great, and the emcee did a great job of hyping up the crowd. Wouldn’t have picked anyone else and highly recommend!

I had my 50th birthday party at the Big Ben tavern last weekend. We had about 105 guests of varying ages and ethnicity. Karma DJs met with me, discussed my needs, took my input and put together a fantastic music score. DJ Janam arrived at the venuw before time and got all set up quickly. He engaged with the crowd and had a really good feel for the pulse of the crowd. Additionally, he was open to guest requests as well. All my guests loved the DJ and the dancing went right until closing time at 2 am. On top of it all, their prices were very reasonable.

We were trying to combine the music worlds of a Texas bride with NYC roots and a Caribbean groom. We had a DIY Indian-American fusion wedding and were trying to find a DJ which fit our budget as well as understood our style in music (lots of metal). After calling one other provider, we settled on DJ Yogi immediately as he understood our needs - music and budget wise, and accommodated us without ever being pushy. He found the perfect DJ for us as well despite us changing the plans a number of times and even surprised us with an MC - something we didn't think we needed but saved us the day of! DJ Masti organized our schedule to make everything move along seamlessly weeks before and the day of, played Metallica, oldies, Bollywood, as well as Marathi music with MC Q engaging with our friends and family and keeping them involved and in the moment. The day of, our reception started falling apart due to an unexpected medical emergency yet they still worked with all our last minute changes (right up to moment we were being announced) and turned it into an unforgettable night! They even stayed later than we asked which shows that they care about the bride and groom as people rather than just doing the bare minimum! We may not have spent anywhere near their usual clientele but we felt extremely valued as customers and highly recommend them for all your wedding needs!

Yogi and I have worked together for weddings in the past so his professionalism was nothing new to me.
