The whole team was great, actually. You can tell DJ Yogi is experienced because he helped us with song selections and gave valuable, practical suggestions about how to handle wedding entrances that we wouldn't have known to plan for.
I will also add that the team does care for you and doesn't treat you like just another event. DJ Janam helped us fix and coordinate some last-minute reception gaffes. He certainly did not have to do this, and it wasn't in his job description, but he still went above and beyond.

Our friends and family were a mix of Indians and non-Indians and Yogi curated the best playlist of our choices, star Indian songs, and the latest pop hits! Yogi's communication style is exactly what you need from a professional DJ. We interviewed a few others but did not feel safe and comfortable with anyone until we met DJ Yogi. He knows that he's the professional and you are the first-timer -- so he guides you with what questions to ask and what you need to know to feel like the event is under control. At the same time, he respects your decisions and your personal needs to ensure your wedding is exactly what you envisioned.
Yogi went above and beyond to calm the chaoticness of our photo groups right after the ceremony. We had to squeeze about 150 people into 11 photo groups within 30 minutes and he did it with calmness and ease.
Lastly, we picked two close friends to be our emcees for the reception and Yogi went above and beyond to help them feel comfortable and empowered. He did a Zoom with them, had a text group chat with them, and even did a run-through with them during the cocktail hour and suffice to say, they nailed it with Yogi's help!

as nothing short of that thanks to Yogi! They were able to totally cater the music to our taste - we didn’t want too much Indian played, and they totally rocked it. It was a lovely mix of everything we asked for - hip hop, Taylor swift, EDM, and a ton more - but they blended it so well. We then got to meet Alex who was extremely detail oriented and carved time with me and my wife separately. Alex wanted to make sure he got all of our music preferences down for all entrances from parents, bridal parties, surprise shoutouts and dance floor. Alex was extremely flexible and allowed us to send him playlists we liked for cocktail and dance floor time as well. He did a great job mixing with our preferred playlists. We liked a lot of rap and r&b strings and piano for the cocktail hour. When the dance floor opened up, Alex incorporated all the oldies, early 2000s and recent music as well. Great job blending it all together!!
Alex is also really good at song recommendation and does not resort to mainstream songs. So if you don't have a good song in mind for an entrance or whatnot he will give you his input whether it's American, Bollywood or Malayalam.
Alex paid close attention to detail and even was able to incorporate songs and artists I didn't know that my wife really liked. DJ Alx and Yogi, thank y'all big time for taking care of us and our guests. Everyone partied hard!
