THE BEST DJ EVER (and that probably doesn't even cover how amazing he is)!!! Kris was such an amazing DJ, I don't think I'll ever be able to thank him enough. He made my wedding ru...
n smoothly and SO much fun!! He is WELL worth the money. He went above and beyond our expectations, especially when we had a problem with the venue and our wedding coordinator the day before. He took on the roll and helped move things along the way it should go. We also got the photo booth from him and it was AMAZING! The guys he brought with him were very professional and very helpful! All of our guests had so much fun taking pictures. It hasn't been a long time since our wedding in May, but I'm sure we will continue to get the compliments we have been getting about Kris! He exceeded ours and all of our guests' expectations. I will definitely be recommending him to anyone that has a wedding in the Los Angeles area!
This review is for both the DJ services and the Photo booth services offered by DJFX Entertainment although, I once road in the party bus that is also offered and .... wow..... so,...
so cool. We discovered him at not one but two weddings and knew he was the one for us.
We hired DJFX Ent. for our wedding on 8/20/16 at Descanso Gardens (for ceremony) and then at the Westin, Pasadena, CA for the reception. I cannot BEGIN to tell you how many people have told us it's the most fun they've ever had at a wedding..... but more on that later...
He provided all the sound, speakers, mics for our ceremony. It all went off without a hitch. Our Officiant had a wireless mic with stand, my groom had a lapel mic and DJFX even had an easy hook up for videographer so they could sync up (which was also great for the reception speeches)..... little details that we don't think about.
He met with us twice; once initially to go over the basics and then closer to the big day to cover the timeline specifics and to discuss what songs were a must and what songs were 'do not play' ;) We also planned out all ceremony songs, all songs for introductions and dances with parents, etc.
His experience in the industry was invaluable. He advised on timeline questions, set up questions, and he gave helpful suggestions on the bridal party intros. He also brings a ladder to every wedding and when the bride and groom dance is over, he asks all wedding guests to come to the dance floor for a group photo. Your photog climbs the ladder and captures priceless pics and then DJFX busts into a great dance song and everyone can't help but stay and dance. It's so awesome. He played the best songs and had an absolutely incredible light set up, not just on the dancefloor but throughout the ballroom.
Regarding the photo booth, we've all been to so many weddings with so many variations of photo booths.... his is the BEST. The lighting and clarity of the pics is unmatched and you have the luxury to take pics of up to 15 people in one frame, yet, your image of two people will be just as great.
If you want an experienced, professional, reliable, accessible DJ (and/or photo booth supplier) that your entire fam and friends will love, DJFX is your man.
Beyond happy with our choice of using DJFX - Kris Bunya - to DJ our ceremony and reception. He is extremely professional, energetic, personable and knowledgeable in his field! Off...
ered great suggestions and did exactly what we wanted the day of. He kept the dance floor full all night with his energy and great song selections that kept the party going. I received sooooo many compliments from my guests about our DJ.
A+++++++ Thank You Kris
We also used his lighting services for the reception which turned out magical.
Very Happy and would love to use him again for the next big event.

I have been to multiple Weddings DJ'd by Kris Bunya (DJ FX) and I knew he was the one I wanted to DJ my own wedding. If you want someone who will make your Wedding a party -- he i...
s the man to call. He is so professional, well spoken and great at reading the crowd. I have never been to a wedding he has DJ'd where the dance floor hasn't been packed until the end of the night. Thank you, Kris!!
Kris was very professional, almost a bit of a salesman. He's very successful and a very good DJ. Maybe he was just too overwhelmed with multiple weddings, but he was a little di...
sappointing. He called my husband the wrong name and missed the timing on several things. Overall he got everyone on the dance floor and people had a good time. He lacked as an MC and messed up little details and specifics we had discussed.
My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Westlake Village Inn. Our wedding coordinator highly recommended that we meet with Kris (DJ FX), she insisted that he was one of t...
he best DJ’s she had met. At that point we had already met with several DJ’s in the area, they were all nice but we just could not make a decision. We decided to go ahead and meet with Kris because of our coordinator’s recommendation. As soon as we met Kris, we knew he was going to be our DJ, he met and exceeded every qualification we were looking for. He was EXTREMELY personable and very professional. Kris completely stood out from all of the other DJ’s we interviewed for several reasons. He had tons to offer, great lighting, a photo booth and several customizable packages. He took the time to get to know us at every meeting and was always very flexible with meeting times. Kris helped us plan every detail of the reception, out of all our vendor meetings, these were our favorite because he always painted such a good picture of what our reception would be like. We gave him a list of songs that we wanted to hear at our wedding and he was completely open to any ideas we had.
The day of our wedding, Kris was on time and had everything set-up hours before the reception started. He did an amazing job, he was such a great MC and DJ! The lights made our reception room look like it was from a fairytale, the music kept our guests entertained the whole night and his outgoing personality kept our guests excited. Everything went smoothly; Kris worked great with our photographer and coordinator to ensure that we were not bothered with anything. We are so extremely happy that we hired DJ FX for our wedding, it was the best decision we could have made. It has been over a month since our wedding and people are still commenting on how great our DJ was. A couple of my friends that have been guests at several other weddings commented that he was by far the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding.
Kris made us feel really special, he has a great personality and so much talent…we will always be grateful that he was a huge part of making our wedding day extra special. We would highly highly recommend Kris to anyone that wants to have an amazing, memorable and fun wedding.
His energy professionalism his knowledge of weddings..what works and doesn't work Emcee skills. Willingness to work with our budget. Pleasure to work with.
