about a year before our wedding to discuss our vision for the music at our wedding (nothing unusual) and knew from the start that she was great. We had a great time just grabbing drinks and planning, she asked us great questions to get to know what we were looking for, what kind of music we like, what our friends and family are like, and we could tell she was experienced and knew what she was doing. We felt confident from the start about our decision to work with Nora. In the weeks leading up to the wedding she was responsive to our last minute questions, jumped on the phone with us to go over the details, and helped walk us through the order of events and timeline for the toasts and dancing. She arrived early to set up for our ceremony and reception. Our ceremony music was perfect, the microphone setup was perfect, and we didn’t have to think about any of those details, which we LOVED. Her introduction for our entrance was great, we got a lot of compliments on how smoothly she ran the show! And everyone danced the entire night away. She really was flawless with the music, the intros, and reading the room and keeping the party going at our wedding. We were so impressed and will recommend Nora time and time again!

nd our reception and she has excellent rates! She met with us multiple times before to discuss options, and she even spliced together our processional song so that we could have a version we liked. Her paperwork was thorough and it's clear she's done this a LOT! Nora gave us great suggestions about our timeline and worked closely with us to help us pick out genres of music and cater to our crowd. We needed some traditional greek dance songs and she was even able to accommodate that request! She read the room, mixed well, and never let a song go on too long. We didn't have a wedding planner, and she kept our ceremony and our reception on time so we had hours left to dance! We would recommend her experience, flourish, and expertise to any one of any size wedding! (We had 250 people!) 100% recommend her amazing skills! We LOVED NORA!!!

lt right in the moment. All we wanted was a wedding where everyone would dance all night, and Nora delivered big time. She seamlessly transitioned her songs, incorporated our "must play" songs, avoided our "do not play" list, and made all generations feel welcome on the dance floor. Her introductions were warm and personable, always keeping the attention on us and our guests rather than looking for a spotlight herself. People absolutely loved her, and everyone screamed "NO!!" when she politely informed us that the first bus was available for pickups. She provided expert, calming guidance through the process and was as excited to be there as we were to have her there! We had such a miserable time with the DJ search before finding Nora, and the fit was so perfect. We also were lucky enough to attend a wedding a few months prior to us, with Gabe as the DJ. definitely shines through when she is up there doing her thing. I met her a few times to go over our playlist for our wedding this August and every time I left I was so excited for the big day. We had quite the crowd from young to old, rock to hip hop, and Nora effortlessly catered to everyones inner party animal. No one left the dance floor! She has a great vibe and helps keep everything flowing smoothly throughout the night, she isn't abrupt or loud/annoying like some other wedding DJs. Nora was easy to work with, prompt with questions and responses, and her playlist/remixes were fire. Give her a call you will not regret it!

We gave her a random assortment of artists and songs that we like (I'm talking Hall & Oates and Ja Rule in the same sentence), and she somehow totally got our vibe and put together the perfect evening. Whenever she played a more recent top hit, she balanced it with an older crowd-pleaser song so everyone could enjoy. I am not exaggerating - I got on the dance floor and did not get off once. She's also a great MC (totally non-cheesy), and everyone raved about her afterwards. 100% recommended :)

requests. We had a couple phone conversations, first to get to know each other a little, and later to go over the wedding worksheet and discuss in detail what we wanted. I shared a few Spotify playlists with her so that she could get a better idea of what kind of music we listen to. She played all of our must-plays and a lot of the music that we suggested and she absolutely steered clear of all the do not plays or anything that was related to those songs on that list. We also wanted to have a different musical theme for each segment of our event, for example, a Motown cocktail hour, and she handled that perfectly. She was really good at feeling out the room. During the dancing part of our wedding, she aimed to get as many people out on the floor as possible, while sticking with the songs we requested and the general vibe that we wanted to convey. If people were slowing down, she was excellent at fading into a new track that got more people on their feet without an abrupt change; a true talent! Nora was so awesome that one of my friends asked her if she could DJ her wedding in March. Our experience with DJour was fantastic! I highly recommend them!

shortly after and immediately discovered two things- we lived two blocks away from each other, and she attended my husband's college and knew the best man. The price was a little high for our budget, but Nora brought it down a little since we only needed her services for the reception. She was worth every penny. The music selection was exactly what we and our guests loved listening to, and she followed our "Do not play" list to the letter. Nora kept the party alive when everyone was outside and sitting, managing to play the right songs to get our friends back up and dancing. She double-checked everything: from music selections to name pronunciations. Plus, she was absolutely open to our decision to remove "traditional" wording from announcements- ie, no "take your bride" or implications that I was property or that he was superior. Everything equal. She managed to work with our vendor to get permission to have a speaker for our outdoor seating area and a microphone for our toasts-we were initially told we couldn't have amplification outdoors-and helped us keep the order of the day moving when our trivia contest failed epically. Additionally, she was completely into our theme of "geek chic" and was thrilled to wear our Sorting Hat (from Harry Potter) when I offered it to her, even Instagramming a selfie with it on. In short, DJ Nora is the best DJ we've ever had the pleasure of listening to and working with, and everyone should take a look at her and her company's services.

was a great communicator and had a clear contract and an affordable price. The worksheets she gave us were a help to finalize a lot of details for the reception that we hadn’t even thought of (how do we want our bridal party announced, what song would we like playing when we cut the cake, etc). Nora arrived early as promised, and was set up before the ceremony began. She played the music I asked for (which was pretty obscure!) and nothing that I indicated I wanted none of (no chicken dances, thanks!). Nora really worked for us and I really appreciated her from start to finish.

DJ Kelli was pleasant to work with over the phone in our initial meeting and made the process much smoother by having us fill out a thorough details sheet, outlining everything from pronunciation of names, to "do not play" songs." She covered details we wouldn't have even thought of before the wedding day, but are glad that she did, to make the evening go seamlessly. DJ Kelli also did a great job of coming up with a playlist that combined our musical interests, but also allowed our guests to give input on what they wanted to hear too. She also sent us the playlist after the wedding, so that we could have a copy of all the music played on our wedding day, which I was very happy about. DJour Entertainment was very affordable, professional, personable and fun!
