Jeremy was fantastic! The planning form is very helpful to get everything into one place. On our wedding day, Jeremy kept everything moving smoothly. I loved that he checked in as ...
often as he did to be sure we were on the same page as far as songs and announcements. I had many guests compliment us on how seamless our entire evening was. I certainly owe a big part of that to Jeremy and his staying right on top of the ball. Thank you Jeremy!!
Absolutely amazing from start to finish!
Jeremy from DJ’s Direct was everything we hoped for and more. From our very first conversation to the last song of the night, he was profes...
sional, fun, and so easy to work with. He brought great energy, handled every detail seamlessly, and even had a few special surprises up his sleeve that made the night unforgettable!
The dance floor was packed all night long—seriously, not a single dull moment. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how great the music was, and we couldn’t agree more.
If you're looking for a DJ who knows how to read the crowd, keep the party going, and make your event feel truly personal and unforgettable, Jeremy is your guy.
100% recommend for any event!
If you want a great time with minimal worry about music, book DJ Evan Nance. He was amazing throughout the entire process of planning the music for my wedding and went above and be...
yond to make sure it was a magical day. We even ended up changing some songs mid-wedding to be more appropriate to the vibes and people LOVED him. My friends are definitely particular about music and they had nothing but amazing things to say about Evan. On top of that, he also MC'd the wedding for us and his overall vibe and presence was beyond what I could have expected. Being a very type-A control freak, I didn't feel any need to be that way with Evan. He always left me feel reassured that things were well in hand! Thanks for making our day so great Evan!
If you want a party, book DJ Evan Nance! He is so kind, thoughtful, and knows how to throw a good time! Not only did he feel out the crowd for what the "vibe" would be throughout t...
he night, he kept checking in with us to make sure we had drinks in hand and were having a great time. Evan was so helpful when we had questions throughout the planning process, and he was so excited to be a part of our special day. I would hire him again and again!
DJ Evan was phenomenal! He was so great to work with from start to finish. He was extremely organized and helped to give us suggestions when we weren't sure what kinds of music to ...
play at different times of the night. On our wedding day, he was super early for set up and was amazing at fielding requests and running everything by us. Multiple people commented to us on how much they loved the music and Evan!
Our original wedding date was postponed due to COVID 19 and Jeremy at DJs Direct made it flawless. His partner Evan stepped in for our new date and he was truly amazing. We met wit...
h him prior to the wedding and walked through our order of events/timeline and it made the day go great. He listened to our style of music and made our reception truly reflect who we are as a couple. I will highly recommend Evan to other couples!

t job working the crowd!!!! We had an ice breaker game he played great themed music for rocked out the host role for it and was also able to play a little of all families anniversary songs for the anniversary dance !!!! Thank you so much for doing a great job announcing and make the night flow !!!! Our crowd loved you as much as you loved them !!! Has all music a available if not he will obtain it no problem !!!!
Evan Nance was great! He is very organized, helped with the timeline of events, made sure he was on the same page as my wedding planner, he didn’t do anything that wasn’t approved ...
by the bride and groom first, and he is just overall a great DJ.
Most importantly, he paid attention to the guests. He made sure the lights were turned down at the right time to get people dancing. He played songs to fit the mood and keep the vibes going rather than sticking to a list and ignoring the people on the dance floor. I recommend him 100%. He was the best!
Our wedding was just on July 28th, and we used Jeremy Gearries from DJs Direct as our DJ and sound guy. He was amazing!! He came early, did sound for the ceremony and then it liter...
ally took him less than 10 minutes to set up to play music for cocktail hour and reception. He was on the ball, announced everything with ease (I had a 10 page PDF of wedding day details HA😂). We got a little behind schedule during pictures, and Jeremy handled the situation perfectly, giving us options for how to get back on track. The guests didn't even know we were behind schedule, because he made everything appear to flow seamlessly! He is so kind, professional, and I would highly recommend working with him for any event he offers! Definitely one of the best, and easiest, choices that we made for our wedding! You will not be disappointed!!
We had an amazing time with DJ Evan. All our guests were commenting on how amazing he was. Several said it was the best dancing they’ve ever experienced at a wedding. Evan is profe...
ssional, very accommodating, and knows all the questions to ask beforehand. He keeps the whole night running very smoothly. He really went the extra mile throughout the night- for example, one bridesmaid requested a song, and before playing it Evan sought out the rest of the bridesmaids to get them to the dance floor. For the father of the bride speech, my dad had very specific song clips to play at specific moments, and Evan made it flawless. He’s also very sensitive to specific no play songs, etc. We said “no country” at our planning meeting, so when requests came in for country songs, he made sure to clear it with the bride :). The list goes on of examples where Evan really just nailed it. I couldn’t say enough good things about Evan and DJs Direct. We also had a photo booth with an attendant who did a great job!
DJ Jeremy was amazing! He was so friendly and patient during the entire wedding planning process. He came highly recommended by our wedding planner and he did not disappoint! He ev...
en met with the venue coordinator and wedding planner the week of the event to go through everything and made me feel very prepared for the big day. On the day of, he was incredibly professional and everything went perfectly! Our guests ended up dancing a lot more than we anticipated and Jeremy played all of our must-have songs for us! Would hire him again in a heartbeat!
DJ Jeremy did our uplighting a d set up the photo booth, and DJ Evan was a rockstar DJ!! I shared our song list with him through the Wunderlist app, which was very handy, and he he...
lped steer us through all the details of the event, kept everyone on track throughout the evening, and kept the party going without stealing the show. It was perfect!! Also, fit well within our budget and worked the venue's inhouse sound system to streamline set up and save us a few bucks on speaker setup. He also just got a new sound system that sounded pretty great.
Jeremy is awesome to work with!! He DJ'd our wedding reception and the music was fabulous from the cocktail hour to the dinner and then to the party. Highly recommend!
Jeremy handled everything beautifully, kept us on track throughout the night, and kept our guests dancing!
The DJ (Terry) was the only let down for our entire wedding day. He didn’t follow our planning sheet music requests for most the evening. During cocktail and dinner hour we request...
ed a specific style that he did not really play, he played elevator music which was okay for that time period but we really requests instrumental covers of popular songs. Then during the reception, we had gone over that we are not fans of oldies or cheesy wedding songs and we have very specific lists for do not play, and please play. We also told him no requests from guests. He started off with very slow old songs that had people bored, which we knew our guests would not like but he argued with us and would not play the songs we wanted, then he accepted requests from guests that we didn’t enjoy. I was very upset by this, finally my husband had to shut him down with the requests and we basically walked up and told him every song to play the rest of the night. I would not recommend to anyone as I didn’t feel my requests were considered at all. We interviewed many Dj s and I got that same feeling, I thought this one was different during interview and that is why we booked.
Jeremy was a FABULOUS DJ! He was able to play all of the music for our ceremony and reception just as we asked him too! He was such a pleasure to work with. The photo booth was a g...

se we live out of town. He was so accommodating and offered the best suggestions for songs when I was finding it hard to choose. Our reception was so much fun and I know it was because the music kept everyone on the dance floor. Thank you Jaimie for making our wedding the best!
We also rented a photo booth from DJs Direct and it was a hit! Everyone loved it so much it seemed the line never went down because everyone wanted to take more and more pictures. Definitely recommend renting one here too.
Thank you again Jaimie! I can not recommend you enough and if there were more than a 5 star option I would have given it to you.
DJ Jeremy was amazing! We had music playing lightly in the background during the whole ceremony and he made sure it wasn't too loud. He did a wonderful job keeping the reception go...

A DJ is there to keep your wedding flowing from the moment your grandparents walk down the aisle at ceremony to the very last song of the night before the farewells. You want your ...
DJ to be personable, because he or she will be working with your day of planner to keep the activities moving, to entertain your guests, to let them know what is next, and to create an overall mood for the evening. This can be a stressful job, so you want to know that your DJ is up to the challenge. You also want your DJ to be reliable and have an up-beat personality. This is where DJs Direct comes in! The staff is trained to work with their couples from picking out the music, to keeping the timeline in check, and to making sure the event is what the couple wished for. Not only does DJs Direct provide an outstanding DJ service, they also offer up-lighting as well as a photo booth option for your special day. Also, at the end of each event, DJs Direct will have a survey for their customers to share their likes or dislikes of the evening. DJs Direct then takes that advice and improves any low areas they had, so they can come back at their next event even better!
DJ Jeremy was simply amazing. He met with us early on in our wedding planning and went over everything with us and answered all of our questions. We had lots of vendors for our wed...
ding and literally almost everyone knew Jeremy and had nothing but the best to say about him. We got to see his reputation first hand when he arrived early the day of our wedding and set everything up perfectly and quickly, including lots of uplights that provided the perfect amount of lighting for our venue. Unlike other vendors who had to constantly ask questions, Jeremy knew exactly what to do and even took charge during the reception. He guided the night along exceptionally well, feeling the room and making changes accordingly. My spouse, I, and our guests were all greatly impressed with his service, professionalism, and value. DJ Jeremy is a 5 star DJ and we couldn't be happier with him - defineltly one of our best vendor picks.
Jeremy DJ'd our wedding and went above and beyond. We didn't have a day-of coordinator and Jeremy helped out with coordinating events and keeping everything flowing. We didn't have...
too many specific requests for our music and Jeremy did an amazing job choosing songs to keep the party going. The dance floor was beyond full all night and everyone had a great time. Jeremy also provided uplighting for our venue which was beautiful. Highly recommended!
I simply cannot put in to words how amazing DJ Jeremy was for our wedding. He not only kept the dance floor PACKED all night but also kept us on schedule to the minute. I have been...
to many weddings/events in my life and have never seen a DJ adapt and make the night like Jeremy did. We were honestly stunned even after hiring Jeremy confidently. After this event, I will not be able to even mention another DJ to anyone looking. Thank you Jeremy soooo much for everything you did to make our day perfect!!
Jeremy was AMAZING and made our wedding reception unforgettable. I can't tell you how many people came up and told me how awesome the music was. From old to new, he knew exactly wh...
at to play to keep our dance floor packed. Our ceremony and cocktail hour music was also flawless and he did a great job at keeping the flow going all night long. He always gave my husband and I a heads up of what was coming next. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for the best day of our lives. Would highly recommend Jeremy!!
Terry was amazing! Everyone leading up to the event was awesome and answered any questions I had, probably more than once!

nd he was fun to hang out with too! Everything sounded great and he used everything we asked him to.
The photo booth is a must! Spend the little extra to give your guests something to do, we added it last minute and so happy we did!
DJ Jeremy was incredible! Our #1 goal was a packed dance floor and he delivered. Everyone still tells us what a great time they had! He played everything we requested and mixed in ...
his own selections that worked perfectly for our crowd. Jeremy was also gave great insight on how to organize the timing of different announcements and as emcee made sure the flow of everything was perfect. He helped keep the stress level very low and the fun level very high! Thank you Jeremy for helping to make our wedding celebration absolutely awesome!

ed with us through the entire night. The dance floor always had someone on it. Also, he was flexible and worked with our rain plans which gave him bonus points with our families! DjsDirect Indianapolis was very easy to work with. They were prompt with their emails and so easy-going with all of my questions. Thank you, Jaimie & DJs Direct, for everything! You were a major part of making our wedding day complete!

sty, I was so focused on wedding details that I can't even really remember what songs were played at my reception, but I do know that people were dancing all night and I had a great time while I was dancing. He also did a great job doing the MC work. He was professional but very fun and easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone!
Jeremy was our DJ for our wedding at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, IN. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or experience. We were not only personally impressed by how well Jerem...
y nailed our style but we also got multiple compliments from our guests and family members. Our wedding was on a Sunday so some guests left earlier then normal, but Jeremy kept the dancing going all night for the guests that were wanting to dance. He was the perfect balance of DJ and yet not stealing the spotlight from myself and my groom. He was sure to introduce himself and kept events on schedule and moving throughout the reception. If I ever need a DJ again it will for sure be Jeremy!!
I was very pleased with DJ Jeremy! He kept everything moving at a good pace and played great music! He definitely read the crowd well, and people were dancing till they turned the ...
lights on! My husband and I had a blast dancing all night and it truly felt like a celebration. We changed the order in which we wanted some songs played and he easily accommodated us. We got a lot of compliments on how fun our music was, and the dance floor lighting was awesome! Thank you so much Jeremy!
Overall our DJ did a great job. He was very nice, personable. We did not get to meet in person with him prior to the wedding, so we had a conference call which was not as ideal for...
me. At the reception he played a lot of the songs we requested, but we had to keep reminding him to play them. Also, he played every single fast song in a row. Cha Cha slide, wobble, etc. People were very tired by the end of that. Overall a pretty good DJ.
Jeremy was absolutely fantastic, he took care of everything during the reception with no worries. Music never stopped, everyone had a wonderful time.

es, and they ran our reception flawlessly! We recommend DJs Direct to any couple searching for a DJ for their wedding reception! Thank you to DJs Direct for such an absolutely perfect event!
I must start with our wedding planner has worked with Evan in the past and has said he is terrific, so this is not a blanket statement for all DJs at DJs Direct. We hired Jeremy be...
cause according to The Knot he was supposed to be the best. I got the feeling when we hired him that he is cocky and hard to work with, I should have gone with my gut. Three weeks before our wedding our wedding planner emailed him. He said he would be calling us to go over the day, but he never did. I sent him several emails in the weeks leading up the wedding with specific instructions for day: versions of songs, when to fade out, etc. On the day of the wedding he was not prepared. I don't know exactly what happened but he got into an argument with our venue and our wedding planner before the wedding. Now he is on both of their "Do Not Allow" list of venders.
Like I said, I gave him very specific instructions for all the songs, but he messed up two of them during our ceremony. He played the wrong version of the song our bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle to and I don't know what he played for our unity song but it wasn't even close to what we asked him to play. That was the worst part because the song we picked went along with what we were doing! I'm still really upset about that! Moving on to the reception, our wedding planner and my husband had to hunt him down several times. He kept disappearing. Moral of the story, don't hire Jeremy. He's not worth the money or the hassle.
We had Jeremy as our DJ for our wedding in October. He did an amazing job! Every time we met with him he was always very personable and made it very clear that it was our day and...
he was going to do everything he could to make it the best day for us. The reception ran so smoothly because of him and everyone was on the dance floor all night long!

van was so great to work with and throughout the night checked in with us to make sure we were happy with how everything was going (& he made sure we had a drink in hand if we needed one!) Some of our favorite memories from the night were made on the dance floor and Evan did a perfect job of keeping the energy up and playing what the crowd wanted to hear. We had a blast thanks to DJs Direct!!
I would highly recommend using DJ's Direct. My family has used DJ Jeremy for 3 weddings and absolutely love him! He does a great job at fulfilling your specific requests, reading t...

en adding them to their playlist. DJ Rob was our DJ for the night, and he was great and very helpful. He kept our timeline moving at the reception and came to us a little early to confirm all of our song choices and our timeline. The only complaint I have about DJs Direct was the last-minute switch in DJs. But, DJ Rob was awesome! Everyone liked him and they had a great time dancing.
We recently used DJ's direct for our wedding. We had a bi-cultural wedding and Evan was able to really listen and work with us and combine music from both cultures. We also rented ...
the uplighting from this company and it looked great. It really enhanced the overall look of the reception. We ended up extending our reception and the DJ services because everyone was having so much fun!
We hired DJ Direct, and more specifically Jermey for our wedding. It was AMAZING. He brought uplights and they looked great and we had so many options for colors. The music was ...
fantastic. We had only a few must plays and not only did he play them but he was able to feed off our guests so well and our dancefloor was so full people had to dance on the carpet. He also was amazing to work with. He talked to us before the event and had a good idea of what we wanted and then during the event he let us do our thing but also helped us get our scheduled parts in. He would always ask if we wanted to do a certain thing first so we had control over everything. It was fantastic and we would recommend him to everyone and anyone!!!

pier with our DJ Rick. He made everything run so smoothly, which took away any stress we had. We heard nothing but compliments about the music from our friends after the wedding. He played everything we wanted and more. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night, which was exactly what we wanted! We have nothing but great things to say about Rick and DJs Direct. Not to mention they are by far one of the most reasonably priced DJs in the area. Highly recommended!
This review is late, my extreme mistake. But don't let that impact your decision to use DJ's Direct. THEY WERE TERRIFIC!!! I could not think of one thing Jeremy could have done ...
better. He is professional, detail driven, friendly, and organized. Most of all, he is FUN! My guests commented on how great he was. I gave him a few basic wishes and he kept my dance floor hoppin' all night and welcomed and honored all requests from my guests. His suggestion for uplighting made our ball room BEAUTIFUL!!! I can't wait to find another reason to host an event just t use them. Please hire these guys. You wont regret it. Thanks Jeremy!!!
