DJs of Charleston has been such a great find. I was searching for a DJ who really fit my style and music taste when my best friends, who were getting married the following week, recommended DJ Taylor. After just a quick 10 minute phone call, I knew he was the right choice and booked him on the spot. A week later, I got to see him perform at that same friends’ wedding and he completely exceeded my expectations. The energy was incredible and EVERYONE was talking about how good he was. The dance floor was full the entire time. I feel so confident in my choice and cannot wait for DJ Taylor to be part of my wedding in May 2026!!!!

Taylor was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, he brought an incredible energy to the room and made sure every single person was having the time of their life. What stood out most was how personable he was—he wasn’t just behind the booth, he was walking around, getting to know the guests, connecting with the family, and making everyone feel included. That level of effort is rare and made the night feel so special. A great DJ can truly make or break a wedding, and Taylor completely crushed it. His music choices were spot on all night, he read the crowd perfectly, took requests seamlessly, and kept the dance floor packed. On top of that, his hosting skills kept the whole evening flowing effortlessly—he didn’t just play music, he ran the party. Taylor was so good that I honestly wish I could fly him to Buffalo for my own wedding. If you want a wedding filled with fun, connection, and nonstop energy, Taylor is the DJ you need.

Review We’ve just returned home from our daughter’s wedding weekend and although we are exhausted, I couldn’t let a day pass without sharing a review of DJ Taylor. When we began wedding planning, I interviewed 5 DJs that I found on The Knot. From the first five minutes of speaking to him, I knew he was the guy. Not only is he available in the Charleston area, but he does weddings across the country. As the wedding day approached, Taylor was in communication with our daughter and her fiancé and took the time to get to know them and the vibe they desired for their wedding and reception. This dude understood the assignment! !! With every moment from his initial arrival and chatting with guests and the bridal party, it was clear that he has a special gift of connecting with people. He worked with the officiant and the coordinator flawlessly and kept us all on task. Throughout the ceremony, which was outside, the audio was clear and at a perfect level. Once inside, he handled all the housekeeping announcements, special touches such as speeches and dances with ease, all the while keeping the evening at a great pace, never rushed and also never lagging. Once dinner was served and it was time to transition to the party, he got things pumped up fast and there was never one single lull. With every transition, remix, and sound effect, the dance floor was PACKED all night. We had a shuttle back to the hotel block scheduled at 10 pm with the last one leaving at 11:45. The shuttle driver ended up having an easy night and sat in the parking lot because not one soul left the reception once they hit the dance floor. This was truly the evening we have dreamed off for our daughter and I wouldn’t have trusted it to anyone else. The videos and pictures he sent me after the wedding are a treasure to me. There are a hundred decisions to be made when planning a wedding. This one should be your easiest one. Hire him today!! You won’t regret it!!!

DJ Taylor brought the energy! Our guests were raving about how awesome he was. The up-lighting is a complete must. Totally elevated the look of the ballroom for our reception. The Photo Booth was a hit too. He was interactive with our guests and even let us so karaoke and danced with us. He made it a night for us to remember. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!!! You have to hire Taylor!

From the very first beat of our ceremony to the last song on the dance floor, he kept the energy high, the vibes perfect, and the entire night flowing with so much joy. He knew exactly how to read the room and somehow managed to be everywhere at once—effortlessly transitioning between the tenderness of our ceremony, the warmth of cocktail hour, and the full-blown party that followed. And let us just say: when he kicked off the reception with “Pink Pony Club”, the party officially began. People were on their feet, cheering, and dancing like it was the finale of a Broadway show. That moment set the tone for the night, and it never slowed down. The dance floor was never empty. DJ Taylor knew how to keep every generation engaged, and he did it with so much charisma and heart. What meant the most to us, though, was how LGBTQ+ friendly and affirming he was from the very beginning. He made us feel seen, celebrated, and completely at ease—and that made all the difference. We’re still getting texts from friends and family saying, “Your DJ was AMAZING.” And they’re right—he really was. DJ Taylor didn’t just play music—he created magic. my wedding is forever going to be the best night of my life thanks to taylor! he is incredible, i could not have asked for a better experience. from the moment we got to the venue to the very end of the night he was amazing. he did the most amazing mash up for us as a surprise and it was so special for everyone. might mess around and have a vow renewal in a couple years just so we can use him again. thank you taylor!!!! would recommend him to ANYONE ANYTIME

100/10 stars!! From start to finish, Taylor was unbelievably professional, kind, lively, fun, and everything you’d hope for in a dj. The entire night guests commented on how great he was, from the younger guests to the grandmothers. We all had a blast and know that a large part of that was because the energy Taylor brought. Can’t recommend enough!!!

Taylor was an absolutely fabulous DJ!! Once I put in an interest for with DJ’s of Charleston Taylor reached out immediately to inform me my date was available and the different package options. Shortly after our call he provided the various pricing. Taylor’s prices are beyond fair, especially for the service he provides. Once booked he utilizes an app where you can give him the music you like and any other details. Most importantly Taylor knows how to get the crowd going. His interactions with everyone made the evening so fun. Taylor does not just play a Spotify list he actually works to mix/blend songs which was really awesome. From start to finish Taylor’s communication was excellent. We would recommend Taylor x10 and hope to be able to work with him again in the future!! P.S. You have to add the up lighting to your package !!

I absolutely loved having DJs of Charleston DJ for our special day! DJ Taylor was so informational and helpful and was very fast at responding! DJ Kegan was a 10/10 he understood our vibes and was such a huge help with figuring out the music, and everyone enjoyed their time on the dance floor!

DJ Infidel and the DJs of Charleston team couldn’t have been better for our wedding! The platform that DJs of Charleston uses to share song recommendations with your specific DJ was easy to use, and they had great options for add ons like additional lighting, fog, photo booths, etc. DJ Infidel was super engaged with us during every planning call and really cared to understand the vibe we wanted for our wedding music. He was incredible at keeping people on the dance floor and playing music that exactly fit the vibe we were looking for. The night wouldn’t have been the same without DJ Infidel and we were so lucky that we had him for our wedding!

My husband and I had DJ Taylor as our DJ at our wedding and I could not have asked for anyone better. Taylor took the time to speak with me before the wedding, asked what I wanted played and what the vibes were, he was very nice and funny. On the actual day, Taylor took care of the set up and did not worry me about anything. Throughout the reception he played songs that everyone vibed with while also making sure everyone was having a great time and laughing. I would recommend Taylor to anyone, wedding or not.

DJ Taylor from DJs of Charleston was absolutely amazing!! I got so many compliments the night of my wedding and the days following about how great our DJ was. I even had some friends who said they wish they would have known about him for their own weddings because he was way more fun than the DJs they had booked in the past. We had DJ Bekster for our DJ from pre-ceremony through our private last dance. She was incredible. We loved working with her and she was able to take our song list and add to match the vibe for each time. We wanted to get everybody out on the dance floor and keep it going for the most amount of time, and she did that. Not only did we love her but our guest can also not stop raving about how great the transitions were. Everyone agreed that she is by far the best wedding DJ anyone has ever experienced. Taylor made sure to consistently check-in with us throughout the planning process, scheduling some one-on-one meetings over the phone so that he could better understand our vision for the atmosphere we were hoping to create.
