We had 160 people and let me tell you the dance floor was RUSHED as soon as it opened and did not empty until verbally yelled at to leave! The vibes were immaculate The song choices so intentional and incredible on his part. His app is so easy to use and we have him very little direction. Also the ceremony - went off flawlessly with him. His set up and lighting - incredible. Literally don’t walk - RUN to book him. He spent his birthday with us - HIS BIRTHDAY. I booked him over a year out and he was like oh that is my birthday.. but I would love to spend it with yall! I felt so special and cared for during the entirety of my service with Taylor. I can not recommend him enough.

We received so many compliments from our guests about how fun he was and how great the music was.  One of my favorite moments was when he even let me, the bride, hop up and DJ with him for a bit. It was such a fun, unforgettable experience and really shows how personable and easygoing he is. Even though it wasn’t his responsibility, he jumped right in grabbing a broom to clear water off the tent, squeegeeing the dance floor, and finding ways to set up the ceremony music so that, when the rain finally let up, we could still move forward. None of this was part of his job description, but because of who he is as a person, he did everything he could to help us regain a sense of normalcy. We’ll be forever grateful for that. And that’s before even talking about his DJing he was phenomenal. Leading up to the wedding, he met with us multiple times, was always available via text or call, and made sure every detail was covered. On the night itself, he kept the energy high, the timeline smooth, and the dance floor packed all night long. Our guests still talk about how amazing he was. edding planning, I interviewed 5 DJs that I found on The Knot. From the first five minutes of speaking to him, I knew he was the guy. Not only is he available in the Charleston area, but he does weddings across the country. As the wedding day approached, Taylor was in communication with our daughter and her fiancé and took the time to get to know them and the vibe they desired for their wedding and reception. This dude understood the assignment! !! With every moment from his initial arrival and chatting with guests and the bridal party, it was clear that he has a special gift of connecting with people. He worked with the officiant and the coordinator flawlessly and kept us all on task. Throughout the ceremony, which was outside, the audio was clear and at a perfect level. Once inside, he handled all the housekeeping announcements, special touches such as speeches and dances with ease, all the while keeping the evening at a great pace, never rushed and also never lagging. Once dinner was served and it was time to transition to the party, he got things pumped up fast and there was never one single lull. With every transition, remix, and sound effect, the dance floor was PACKED all night. We had a shuttle back to the hotel block scheduled at 10 pm with the last one leaving at 11:45. The shuttle driver ended up having an easy night and sat in the parking lot because not one soul left the reception once they hit the dance floor. This was truly the evening we have dreamed off for our daughter and I wouldn’t have trusted it to anyone else. The videos and pictures he sent me after the wedding are a treasure to me. There are a hundred decisions to be made when planning a wedding. This one should be your easiest one. Hire him today!! You won’t regret it!!!

Photo Booth was a hit too. He was interactive with our guests and even let us so karaoke and danced with us. He made it a night for us to remember. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!!! You have to hire Taylor!

What meant the most to us, though, was how LGBTQ+ friendly and affirming he was from the very beginning. He made us feel seen, celebrated, and completely at ease—and that made all the difference. We’re still getting texts from friends and family saying, “Your DJ was AMAZING.” And they’re right—he really was. DJ Taylor didn’t just play music—he created magic.
