Michael did a great job! He was able to change up the timeline on demand which was very helpful and was very communicative during the whole wedding. Only thing is guests mentioned a few times there were awkward moments where they felt songs should have been played in the background which kind of bummed me out to find out later on. I also felt songs were transitioned a little harsher than expected. Overall we enjoyed working with Dj on wheels.

We connected with Mike about 7 months before our wedding. It was a fairly easy to handle outdoor wedding and indoor reception. There were no grand entrances, bridal party or family names to pronounce, and besides wanting (and paying for) some karaoke to end the evening -- it was pretty mundane. Mike arrived late, didn't set up as promised (not lighting), AND his assistant didn't have the music for our recessional after the ceremony (and was upset that I was frustrated by that). He couldn't get his equipment to work correctly during the reception, I had to yell to welcome our guest (they couldn't get the mics hooked up) and he played music from our 'do not play' list -- at some point in the evening, it just became a comedy of errors and we went with it -- but it was heartbreaking. This was supposed to be a special day that we remember forever because of the good times shared by all. Unfortunately, our DJ experience (or lack thereof) will forever color those memories. I should have stuck with my gut and used my home speakers and an ipod. Despite a $400 refund, we still didn't get what we paid for.

I know Mike personally, so I might be a little biased, but he did great at our wedding. He was very communicative and had a hands-on approach. He took initiative in reaching out to us. And he’s just a great guy all around, but again….I might be biased. 😉

Mike is a sweetheart and has good communication. We were able to provide a detailed list of song we wanted. However, our dinner music was the opposite of what we wanted and a bridesmaid had to ask them to correct it. There was also a mispronunciation of the MOH’s name for the entrance. There was some uncomfortable silence when we had issues with the wireless mic (not their fault). They did make up for it during the reception and while we thought we’d barely have people dancing, the dance floor was full and dedications were executed flawlessly.

My husband Jonathan and I had a great experience with DJs on Wheels. Mike was very responsive to our needs and music we wanted, while also giving us plenty of suggestions and advice. Mike and his assistant were both wonderful to work with the day of our wedding. We were very thankful to have them as a part of our special day. We would reccomend DJs on Wheels for your next event!

I can't recommend DJs on Wheels highly enough. Mike & James went above & beyond to make our day special. Their support was critical not only on the day of our wedding but also in the weeks leading up to it. Throughout every step of the process, Mike offered helpful insights based on his experience to ensure the reception of our dreams became a reality. On the day of our wedding, they were so critical to making sure everything went smoothly. From setting up the microphone and speakers for the ceremony (in a grassy field a couple hundred feet from the venue's electric outlets!!) to making sure dinner, speeches, games, and dancing went on without a hitch. They did so much more than what you would traditionally expect from a DJ!! When it was finally time to bust a move on the dance floor, they managed everything masterfully, balancing my many requests with reading the mood of the room and negotiating guest requests. The lights they used on the dance floor created an amazing ambiance. We got tons of compliments on their excellent work, and the dance floor was packed until the very last song. In particular, one thing I appreciated was how strongly Mike prioritized our wishes first and foremost. Though we didn't have any issues with pushy or demanding guests, he made it clear that he would be an advocate for us and defend whatever we asked for. Meaning, for example, if we said we didn't want country music played, he wouldn't play it even if a drunk guest demanded it. I was able to trust in his team completely and felt so cared for by the service they provided my husband and I. We knew the entire time that they were on our side and would do whatever they could to support us. Overall, I can't thank Mike & James enough for everything they did to make our special day a success. You guys are the best, and I'll recommend you to all of my engaged friends!!
