She has always been a music hunter and hand selects specific tracks for the listeners at each event. Her sets are formulated not just to keep the party going, But to create a unique sound experience for your event. Sonja's favorites genre is Electronic, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Jazz, 60, 70s, 80s, 90s, and World Music. So whether it's classic tracks or future sounds, she has an eclectic arsenal of sounds for any occasion.

mazing to work with and took the time to get to know us better and understand what our music styles were and what we would like to do for the reception. The virtual meetings made the planning process easy, and her form we filled out for Music, and timing and events made it easy for us to make sure everything was done how we wanted it. She had some really fun takes on older reception games like the Shoe game and Musical chairs (only you have to get items from the crowd to advance to the next round, would recommend our friends still talk about it). Over all she was fantastic to work with and if we ever decide to have another party for other events we will definitely reach out to her!

about 50 guests and wanted to have a fun dance vibe with 70s music during the cocktail hour and reception. Sonja had a couple of Zoom calls with us in the months prior to the wedding which was helpful for us to articulate our vision of what we wanted the music to be on our special day. Sonja was great at explaining the day, her software and equipment, and her careful attention to professionalism. The night before the wedding, there was an unforeseen medical issue and Sonja communicated that she would not be able to make it and that our DJ would instead be one of her coworkers, Rodney. We were of course pretty nervous with the last minute switch but Sonja was communicative and we felt like we were going to be in good hands. Rodney came through and really rocked the night! He even did a bit of break dancing on the floor which was awesome. We got a lot of positive comments about the music selection and how nice Rodney was. He kept the party going until the very end. I also appreciated that Rodney was gracious about helping us mic up for the ceremony - he took some pictures of us while we were prepping and followed through on sending them to me after the event. We would highly recommend DJs with Style to our friends and family.

one who was warm, welcoming, and most of all COOL, so we were ecstatic when we found DJ Aquamarine. From the start, she was super communicative and helpful in guiding us through the music selection process. It was so easy to upload my preferred playlist to her website and add in any special requests, though she had a ton of her own music suggestions available if needed. On our wedding day, she was on top of everything, setting up special lights and equipment, and collaborating with our coordinator and officiant. DJ Aquamarine was personable, professional, and also just a ton of a fun. She brought all the good vibes, and our guests had such a fun time dancing because of the positive atmosphere she helped create. 1000% recommend hiring her if you need a fun DJ who is also just a really good person.

Aquamarine came early, dressed to our color scheme, and along with her equipment, brought strong radiant energy with her that shone through her set and onto the dance floor through the enjoyment of the outdoor party by all of our guests. She even got my mom to get up and boogie! (A spectacular feat). My partner was so grateful I had chosen to book Aquamarine because she not only played hits she recognized from our earlier dating life, but also music neither of us had heard before but really enjoyed!
