our backyard wedding of 160 people in NJ this July. Daniel's kindness and open approach to every meeting quickly made us realize he was truly listening to our wants/needs and that we were going to throw a party that guests of all ages would love. After the wedding, we received multiple phone calls from neighbors saying the music was incredible and that they sat outside to listen and dance all night! Family and friends were in awe of the keyboardist and saxophone player for the ceremony to cocktail hour, and loved how it accompanied our favorite dance songs so perfectly for the reception. My only request leading up to the wedding was to keep the dancefloor packed and Daniel 1000% made that happen. We could not have asked for better entertainment and people to work with.

Even given the very short notice Daniel was able to source an amazing DJ, integrate our music requests, coordinate timing, make sure the equipment was all set to go, etc. The DJ was amazing, and was super responsible regarding setup/soundcheck--I didn't need to do nor worry about anything besides showing up to my own event. I never once felt stressed or concerned. On top of that, Daniel is extremely responsive (much more so than other companies I looked into), and his pricing is extremely competitive. We did a hybrid DJ and band for the reception and would a thousand percent recommend. Everyone had a blast dancing with the musicians on the dance floor. The drummer was even nice enough to let our priest played the bongos for a bit, which was hit! I had also made a mashup of some of our favorite quotes from our favorite TV shows to play before our first dance and Daniel worked with me to make sure I had the audio downloaded correctly so it sounded amazing over the speakers. ons! From our very first interaction, we knew we found the right company. Daniel understood our vision and every conversation with him was like talking to a friend and it was always full of laughter. The entire process leading up to the big day was extremely professional and organized. The day-of, we worked with Aaron and Jase and they made the entire day from the ceremony all the way to the reception one that we will never forget. Everything flowed so smoothly and they kept everyone on the dance floor. Two moments I definitely want to highlight are: 1. after the reception was over, we had an after party that we didn't hire DLE for but Aaron and Jase stayed a little bit longer to help troubleshoot the speaker system that wasn't working properly that we were plugging our iPhones into to play our own music. They definitely didn't need to do that but were sooo extremely kind to help us out! 2. the morning after the wedding, the staff at the venue were telling us how all of the staff working in other areas of the resort were dancing and really enjoying the music Aaron and Jase were playing and they were one of the best DJs they've heard in a while. Now that the wedding day is over, we're looking into what other party we could throw so we can hire DLE again!

They've really been around the block when it comes to weddings and were even able to give me advice and recommendations on things non-music related! And most importantly to me, I felt really heard when I told Daniel that my husband and I didn't love being in the spotlight - he tailored our intros, dances and everything else in a way that was more low key and so perfect for us and our personalities. Couldn't recommend them more, I am SO incredibly thankful that DLE was part of my big day!

tions. Shortly after we booked with DLE, we unexpectedly had to change our wedding venue and date. I reached out to Daniel to let him know and and confirm his availability for potential new dates. Daniel was so accommodating during this stressful time and even recommended some venues for us to look into. Planning everything was very easy with Daniel and his team. He uses a database where you can keep all of the song choices for each entrance and special dance. His website also has a ton of suggestions for special dances and bridal party entrances. We had a meeting with Daniel about two weeks before our wedding to make sure everything was good to go. We enjoy all types of music and wanted to make sure we could incorporate all of the genres we wanted throughout the night. We discussed the best time to play the more non traditional wedding songs we wanted to be played as well as cultural songs for my husband’s side of the family. After meeting Daniel in person, we really knew we were in great hands! On our wedding day, Daniel showed up early to set up and quickly went over the timeline with the venue staff to make sure everyone was on the same page. Daniel played our must play songs from our list and really understood the crowd for the rest of the songs he played. He really kept the party going the entire time! Our guests never left the dance floor! We got so many compliments on the music and atmosphere Daniel and his team created. I am so happy we chose DLE for our wedding!

I cannot stress enough how helpful this program was. The day of was exactly what we’re hoping. There was not one song played that didn’t fit our wedding. The dance floor was never empty and Daniel read the crowd perfectly when it came time to change up the music. When it came time to improvise on some things that weren’t part of the original plan Daniel was excellent and accommodating. And to top it all off he came all the way to Montauk for our special day. Our wedding was very different in that we had many cultures and taste in music. We also had a lot going on in between the formalities including having a family member translate. Still and all, he was patient, accommodating, timely, had a positive energy throughout the whole process, and super fun to work with. He felt like family! My only regret was trying to control our music list too much because I was trying to make everyone happy and I can be a bit of a control freak (yikes) instead of letting Daniel do his thing to fill the dance floor. We also had requests like having a video montage from our destination ceremony played, a Cantonese MC / translator, and Kermit the Frog to introduce our parents' dance; Daniel and his crew nailed everything. Couldn't be happier!
