We highly recommend DM productions! During our first meeting (when we were finding a DJ), he showed us a PowerPoint and played music for us. It was so clear just how prepared he wa...
s and this remained throughout the entire planning process. He came to our venue walk through to ensure he knew where to set up his equipment. He really thought through every detail so that our day ran smoothly, and was extremely professional and personable. He was also more than willing to play songs from our cultural backgrounds. On the day of, he managed the mic and our schedule and timing of events was perfect. The dance floor was filled all night!
^what my friend said after our wedding!
DJ Dan got the dance floor going at our wedding, which was important to me as someone who loves to dance! He was also super communicative w...
ith all the logistics leading up to the big day – capturing song requests, and all the little details for emceeing that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. He also provided a photo booth which our guests loved (including a guestbook with copies of each photo + handwritten notes which were a nice touch!)
Highly recommend booking Dan & his team for your event!
DJ Dan is AWESOME. We didn’t stress at all about music, the DJ set up, or keeping people on the dance floor. He was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. His professionalism w...
as exceptional. I would highly recommend DJ Dan and his team for a stress free experience.
DJ Dan was an absolutely incredible DJ! From our first meeting, I knew I had nothing to worry about when it came to the music part of my wedding. Specifically, some things I apprec...
iated about my experience were:
1. Dan's quick response to any questions or concerns we had.
2. The detailed information collection form he provided to make sure he had all the details of our day set.
3. The online song request platform that allowed me to add and change songs about 100 times.
4. His professionalism on the day of the wedding. Again, I knew all day I had nothing to worry about.
5. Most importantly, he knows how to build and maintain an amazing dancefloor. Through a mix of pretty much all of my requests and other songs I never would have thought to include, the dance floor was packed for the entire 2 hours and 45 minutes we were out there.
Could not recommend higher!
We had Gabe Moraga as our DJ from DM Productions and he was phenomenal! Firstly, we got the rundown of services and how the team approaches their work from Dan who owns the company...
. He was incredibly informative, kind, friendly, and most importantly had answers and solutions available for every possible question and every possible thing that could happen on a wedding day. He and his team are equipped to work with and deal with anything, and their professionalism is off the charts! Gabe had a few zoom meetings with my parents and us and made himself additionally available through phone calls and emails for any additional questions or requests we had. On the day of the wedding his setup was smooth, he was able to collaborate effortlessly with the wedding party and our musician for the ceremony, he played out every scenario we had planned and every song to its perfect timing, and was able to wrap up everything so well by the end of the evening. We also had a photo booth setup for the reception which was also a huge success and the person running the booth was so accommodating, communicative, and super funny. My husband and I could not recommend DM Productions enough. They are pure gold and worth 5+ stars for every part of the trade!
Hired DJ Dan McCarthy for my wedding. He was excallent! Would highly recomend. He was very professional and accomidating of special requests. He did an exxcelent job of feeling...
out the crowd and had the dancefloor packed for the entire night.
We worked with Dan for our October wedding, and I cannot recommend him more. Super professional and experienced in his craft - Dan created a night to remember. Our #1 goal for our ...
wedding was to dance (we asked our guests to wear sneakers) and dance we did, all night long. There wasn't a moment of pause on the dance floor and many of our guests commented on how the reception was truly an event to experience. Thank you so much for all the work you put into making our night special - anyone who works with you for their wedding is making the right choice!
Dan is the best! My husband and I hired DM Productions for our May wedding in Salem, MA. Dan was so easy to work with from our initial meeting through the wedding day. He kept the ...
dancefloor packed the whole night and was a great MC during the reception as well. Uplighting was absolutely gorgeous and added so much to the venue. If you're in the market for a DJ for your wedding, you can't go wrong with DM productions!
Dan kept the dance floor bumping all night long. He did a great job as MC in the beginning and then let the music flow. He was easy to work with and had great software to add musi...
c you wanted to play. Would definitely recommend them if you want people to dance all night!!
Dan was a fantastic DJ. At first my partner and I weren't sure we wanted a DJ at all. Dan DJ'd our friend's wedding and we were impressed enough that we talked with and booked him ...
for our own wedding.
Dan is an exceptionally skilled DJ. Song transitions were always smooth, and he made even the weirdest of our song requests work well (including "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan).
He is also great to work with. Dan was always responsive, he is very detail-oriented, and he easily adjusted to requests we had leading up to the day. When our caterer was running late, Dan was flexible enough to stay an extra hour so that we'd have enough time for dancing.
We could not be happier with Dan as our DJ! He is so professional, detailed oriented, and organized with his quick responses to emails. He has the perfect MC voice! He definitely k...
new how to keep the dance floor alive! We were so grateful to have him and his assistant as our DJs! Highly recommend!
It only took me 9 months to leave a review, but he was so great that I am still thinking about DJ Dan and his team 9 month later. He was attentive throughout the process. He commun...
icated quickly and he listened to what we wanted. The night was seamless. He was a DJ for one of my friend's weddings 7 years ago and am so glad we picked him for ours. Highly recommend!

ooth, both of which turned out perfectly. Our guests really enjoyed the photobooth and they danced the night away! I can't recommend him enough!
Gabe was our DJ and he really kept our dance floor full all night!! Pleasure to work with, and so much fun!

led to all age groups. We also appreciated that we were able to share our song picks ahead of time. We are very happy that we chose Dan as our DJ.

ts about not wanting to sit down because of the awesome music choices. Thank you, Dan! We had the best night of our lives!
I have hired Paul for two separate events. One for a high end work function and for our wedding. He was so easy to work with and came fully prepared. He quite literally brought ...
the party! He had great energy through both events and really got the crowds pumped up! After both events everyone kept asking who the DJ was, I feel like that is the ultimate compliment! We didn't have to do anything to prepare, we just told him the vibe we were going for and he nailed it! I highly recommend DJ Paul!
I hired DJ Paul Vincent for my wedding back in July of 2019. DJ Paul was simply a beast in terms of professionalism, punctuality, and most of all ..... he brought the house down! E...
veryone had so much fun and he was on cue from the beginning to the end. His transitions from song to song were on point! His playlist was great the whole night and everyone was complimenting on how awesome he was during and after the wedding. He DJs venues and clubs in Boston as well so he’s extremely experienced and talented. If you have a chance to book him, you should absolutely do it early before someone picks him up for their event. Not all DJs are made the same and you only have one night to make a great party happen. Hire this DJ if you get the chance!
We had the best DJ for our wedding, thanks to Dan and Paul. Paul brought the party the whole night, and it was honestly the best time ever! We didn't want the night to end, beca...
use everyone still wanted to keep the night going. From the beginning and our initial conversation with Paul, he was very forthcoming with all the information we needed to know. He asked for a playlist we had in mind. He didn't need much from us, and brought all his equipment on the day of the wedding, which made it easier for us, as it was one less thing we needed to take care of it. He was there at the venue when we arrived, and was setting and talking to our wedding coordinator. He didn't bother us at all, and asked all his questions to our wedding coordinator. Paul also made sure we were on schedule and informed us when the toasts and cake cutting were coming. Paul kept the kept the music going and our guests entertained. The volume of the music was perfect too. Paul stayed till the very end, and we were very appreciative for all his hard work because he was definitely busy behind the table. Thank you Paul for making it the best night ever!
Simply put, Paul was incredible. All of the reviews you read below are spot on! Admittedly, my wife and I were torn between hiring a band or a DJ for our wedding. But, once we met ...
Paul we totally hit it off with him. To start, he was very responsive (which I appreciate), and I think he even offered to meet us the day after we reached out to him. He fully dove in and worked on every possible customization you can image: which songs to play, which ones NOT to play, and above all he even let us pick individual walk out songs for our wedding party - of which we had 12! He was even able to find songs that weren't readily available and seamlessly make them a part of the big day. He also did a great job as Emcee. To top it all off, our wedding went well past the time we hired him for, but he didn't slow down a bit or even ask if he should keep going. Paul truly seemed to enjoy what he does for a living, and was not just doing it for the cash. Cannot say enough great things about Paul. Our search ended when we met Paul!
We just got married on June 1, 2019 and Dan did an AMAZING job! He gives you a list to add songs to for your cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and he played all of the songs we wan...
ted which we loved! He has DJ'd my sister's wedding and multiple cousin's weddings and he has been amazing each and every time. He is so quick to respond and very helpful. He did amazing and I highly recommend him!!!!
Dan was really easy to work with, and he was really patient with us during the process. My (now) husband and I had so much going on during the wedding planning between finding out ...
we were pregnant and finalizing with the vendors, I literally thought my head was going to pop off! But Dan kept up with us about what he needed in regards to the music, made sure it was all taken care of and we truly had an amazing day. We had a wedding of 275 people and everyone raved about it and told us we had the funnest wedding they had ever been to!! I would think that most of that has to do with the music and dancing so we have Dan to thank for that!!
DJ Dan was incredible for us on our big night. From organizing reception introductions and coordinating music with the wedding planner for our ceremony he had everything covered pe...
rfectly.
The dance floor was absolutely rocking from start to finish and he really knows how to read a room and get the people going.
If you are looking for a DJ that will make your night perfect and listen to every suggestion you have this is your guy. You will not be disappointed!
Dan was the best DJ we could have ever wished for at our wedding. He had every single guest out on the dance floor with his great mix of current and classic hits. We received count...
less compliments on how great he was both during and after our wedding. Dan was incredibly easy to work with and helped make our ceremony and reception exactly what we wanted. He is very professional and kept everything running smoothly and on time the entire night! Dan has so much knowledge as to what songs work the best for your wedding and we can truly say he was an absolute pleasure to work with. We would recommend Dan to anyone. Thank you so much Dan!
Dennis was the DJ for our July wedding and he killed it! From the very beginning he put our minds at ease and the day of blew everyone away. He was so incredibly easy to work with ...
and made sure every minute of the night was filled with good music and fun. We had some special requests that he was more than willing to accommodate and he did a great job of fielding requests from wedding guests too. So many people have told us how amazing they thought he was and we honestly can't recommend him more highly. Hoping someone we know uses him for an event so we have an excuse to hang out with him again! If you are looking for an experienced, professional, easy going, and fun DJ to create a memorable night look no further than Dennis!
DM Productions were recommended to us by a good friend for our wedding on October 14th. Dennis McCarthy was our DJ for the night and was fantastic!! We met ahead of time and talke...
d about the kind of music we wanted as we had a varied age group. We provided a list of requests which he played and then mixed in some great tunes!!!He did an amazing job and the dance floor was full all night! Dennis took command right away and made us feel very confident. This is not a gimicky DJ. Our guests commented on what a great job he did and everyone had so much fun, especially the little kids, thanks to the great music he played.
Dan was an amazing DJ. Our friends used him as their DJ about 2 years before our wedding, so we knew exactly who to call when it was our turn. He'll let you be as involved as you...
want to be. We requested a few songs and of course picked the entrance songs, but we gave him free reign of the playlist and he did such a great job! Our guests were on the dance floor the entire time and despite the different age ranges everyone had a blast. I also thought the price was great for the excellent service we received.
I have been to a lot of weddings and maybe I’m biased because it was my own, but Dennis was by far the BEST wedding DJ I had ever experienced! We hired him for our October 8, 2016 ...
wedding and working with him from start to finish was seamless. He really listened to our preferences and kept the party going all night. I’ve had several guests tell me that it was the most fun that they’d had at a wedding and the party literally didn’t stop all night (until the venue kicked us out). Dennis was fantastic to work with and I would recommend him to any bride/groom looking for a fun, energetic and professional DJ!
We had Dan McCarthy DJ our wedding. He was phenomenal. He effortlessly read the room making sure to pick music to get everyone out on the dance floor. His professionalism shown thr...
ough during many situations that came up throughout the night. Dan effortlessly added in a bouquet toss and tweaked an anniversary dance when my grandparents decided they did not want to participate. We had many guests tell us how great the music was. Dan is reasonably priced, professional and talented. I would highly recommend DM Productions for your next event!
Jumping. That's the word I would use to describe Dan McCarthy and DM productions. If u want your wedding to jump, hire Dan. Great to work with from start to finish. Very responsive...
to any ideas we had. We knew 5 minutes into our initial meeting he was the guy. Your wedding is going to come down a notch if you have the ability to book him and but don't. Thanks again for a great day Dan!
Dan literately had our guest chanting "One more song, One more song!" at the end of the night. The dance floor was constantly packed and everyone had a great time. He even cared en...
ough to perfectly time out our introductions so we could walk in at the song's crescendo. There is really only so many ways to say perfect. It would be a mistake not to book him.
Dan also did up lighting for our event at a fraction of the cost than the other lighting guys we looked into.
I cannot even begin to describe how much we LOVED our DJ, Ron Ferrell!! He did an amazing job! From our first meeting with him we knew he would be the right choice for our wedding....
He asked us some questions to get to know our personalities and what type of vibe we wanted for our wedding and then helped us through the whole process with suggestions and advice. We picked out certain songs (first dance, father daughter, cake cutting, etc) but let him control the dance portion of the night(with a few requests) and we are so happy we did. He was able to read the crowd perfectly and got everyone and I mean everyone out on the dance floor including my 90 year old grandmother! It has been a month since our wedding and people are still talking about our DJ! I highly recommend him! You will not be sorry you picked this company to DJ your wedding or any other event.
Dennis McCarthy was the D.J at our Wedding. He was awesome! Very accomodating, professional and fun.
We used DM productions for our wedding at Andover Country Club and we were very impressed! Dennis was the DJ that worked our wedding and he did the music for both the ceremony and ...
reception. They aren't lying when they say that their main goal is to get everybody on the dance floor! Dennis was friendly and fun to work with! All of our guests kept telling us how great the music was and the dance floor was packed! Dennis made sure he knew exactly what we did and did not want played. Not only are they good at what they do, but they are reasonably priced as well! DM productions is awesome!!
We picked Dan and DM Productions from a recommendation from a co-worker and I couldn't have been more happy! Dan and his crew are some of the nicest people you'll meet and they tru...
ly want to make you have the best day you can have. We met with Dan twice before the wedding so we could go over his "reception planner" which made our actual wedding day go so smoothly. They know how to get people on the dance floor and keep them there. We have to give them extra props too - we had a small medical emergency with a family member during our reception that prompted everything to be shut down for 15 or so minutes (lights on, music off) while the emergency was worked out. It was an absolute credit to Dan and his crew that they were able to get the dance floor back going again after a small break. Couldn't recommend them enough - they even sought me out during the reception when someone recommended a song that might have been on somebody's Do Not Play list, just to make sure we were okay with playing it (Baby Got Back - we did, and the crowd loved it). They are true professionals, with loads of experience. You will not regret booking them!
I've known Dennis and Dan for years now and was so excited that Dennis was going to be our Wedding DJ. Dennis did an AMAZING job at our reception. He played a great mix of music ...
during dinner and for dancing. He kept our grandparents happy and our younger friends happy. My mother, who had a shattered leg two years ago, was up dancing all night...and not just to swing music and slow songs, but she danced to Usher and LMFAO! All of our guests were dancing the night away at our wedding which was just what we wanted. Dennis is the best DJ around and DM Productions is the best company in the Boston and Cape area. True professionals that love their job and their clients.
I chose DM Productions based on two referrals from collegues at work. My fiance and I couldn't have been more satisfied! Dennis was a true professional, who gave us honest advice a...
nd worked closely with us to make sure our wedding day was fun and memorable for all guests! He showed up early (looking dapper!) to make sure everything was in place! He was clearly very experienced and had all my guests singing and dancing from cocktail hour to the last dance! I definitely understand why DM productions came so highly recommended and I'll be sure to pass it on!
We had Dennis McCarthy DJ our entire wedding, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to dancing. He was incredible. No annoying chit-chat, just music (And no corny music either!)...
We gave him a list of songs for the dinner and cocktail hour and had him do whatever he wanted for the dancing portion. Our guests were dancing the entire night! The dancefloor was packed...it was awesome. I can't say enough good things about Dennis.
