She accommodated a 2nd makeup trial before my wedding free of charge to make sure I was comfortable with my makeup for the big day. We even had so much time before the ceremony after doing the bridal makeup too. I booked hair services through her as well and Cori did everyone's hair so beautiful. I would recommend Dana for weddings, photoshoots, or any big event; you will not be dissapointed! nd genuine person, and she took great COVID protocols and precautions so everyone in our wedding party felt safe and was able to focus on fun for the big day! So here's the longer version: First of all, Dana was great to work with and able to bring out my natural beauty. I rarely wear makeup at all, so didn't really have a lot of ideas as to what I wanted and I wasn't even that comfortable with the idea of a lot of makeup on my face. From the first time I began messaging her and our makeup trial, she was so kind and knew exactly how to bring out my natural beauty. She uses airbrush makeup, so it felt light and good and stayed put perfectly for hours without being heavy or sticky at all. I have very sensitive skin but had no issue with breakouts or any irritation with anything she used either! If you are able to book facial appointments with Dana before the wedding, I highly recommend it. Her facials are AH-MAZING and are truly a pampering experience! My skin was so refreshed and looked great for the big day! While I have not been to her new studio yet, her old one was extremely cozy and beautifully decorated, so I have no doubt the new space is incredible! She's also very cautious with COVID, requiring masks, a temperature check and everything was obviously very clean. As an immunocompromised person, this made me feel very safe going in for my appointments and for my makeup on the big day. Finally, she's so professional yet also genuine and kind and just overall fun to be around! We ended up hiring an additional artist for the big day and Dana was able to recommend someone that she's worked with before. Between Dana and Nyla, everything went seamlessly! Dana also contracts with hair stylists, and the hair stylist she recommended, Deanna was absolutely wonderful to work with as well! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup, and my wedding party loved how their hair and makeup turned out as well! Overall I cannot recommend Dana/DMC Makeup Artistry enough, she is so excellent!

even went the extra mile to reach out to my bridesmaids to get inspiration photos as well as color match them before the event. She really made an effort with all of the little details! The day of she showed up early ready to go. I was also very impressed with how cleanly she was, making sure to clean everything after use or use new products if needed. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and she took feedback and made sure that I was happy every step. I was so pleased with her work and all of my bridesmaids loved their makeup as well. eup artist, part magician, part therapist, and part angel. I am a pretty anxious person and my anxiety was through the roof the week before my wedding. I fell back into my terrible habit of picking at my face so come wedding day I looked like a train wreck. Dana not only completely covered all that damage but she made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt, inside and out. She gave me and my girls little goodie bags on the day of the wedding and I'm still using some of those products a month later. The products that Dana makes herself are absolutely incredible. I have the most annoyingly sensitive skin and everything she put on me helped immensely. She also helped me find a hair stylist at the last minute when mine bailed on me. Please hire Dana and give her a big hug from me!

On the wedding day, Dana arrived my hotel early to prepare to make sure she can start on time. The whole process was smooth. I have a lot acnes marks and dark cycle on my eyes. Dana did an amazing job to make them invisible. She made me a beautiful bride on a beautiful day! I got a lot compliments from my guests. Her vibe is so warm and inviting. She really did just make me look like a better version of myself - not someone else, which I loved. My eye make up stayed on for a full 12+ hours without creasing, which if you have hooded eyes you know is a major struggle!! She was always VERY professional and showed up EARLY on wedding day, which helped me feel calm, as there were already a lot of things to think about. Dana also helped me find a hair-stylist, as she has a network of stylists that she works with regularly. Together, Cori and Dana made my day even better!

as we were getting ready together and could hear the guests arriving downstairs. She did a great job on my makeup and even gave me some things to touch up with, which I never had to use! I was concerned about my makeup staying on all day since we had a ceremony outside on a very hot and humid day and I have very fair skin that burns easily. The makeup stayed on from something like noon until 5 am that night when I used jojoba oil to take it off. Even the lip color, lash clusters, etc. lasted through taking a bath. She is a great artist who understands the stress of the day and is there to help you. Would recommend highly.

The dermaplaning helps the airbrush makeup stay on and sit beautifully so I'd highly recommend it! On the day of the wedding, Dana and Denisa (hair) arrived right on time and got right to work on hair and make up for some of my ladies. We turned on some music and had a great time. It was so relaxing to be able to have everything done right there in the hotel where the ceremony was also taking place. DMC's prices are very fair for wedding hair and make up especially for having it all done on-site! Everyone's hair and make up turned out AMAZING. We all received compliments all night. My hair and make up withstood rain, snow, and hail during outside photos and it still looked flawless by the time we arrived at the reception venue. Special shout out to Denisa who had a last minute emergency add on for hair that morning and made my maid of honor feel so much more confident and beautiful throughout the evening. t into the big day with confidence knowing that I had nothing to worry about. On the wedding day, the first group of women were going to start getting ready at 7:00 am. Denisa, showed up WELL BEFORE the start time to give my grandma a hair cut before styling started (per my grandma's request). They were organized, timely and were able to create the look that me, my bridesmaids, my mother and my grandmother wanted. I cannot say enough about how happy I was with these two wonderful ladies! I have never felt as beautiful as I did on the most important day of my life!

Dana was always available to answer all of my questions. She responded quickly to all of my messages and emails and was very professional and courteous. When she got to my house, she set up a stool and some lighting and opened all her makeup cases and brushes and got right to work. She knew exactly what to do for each one of us and we all looked beautiful. While she did our makeup, we were coming up with a playlist of songs for our reception and Dana was a huge help making suggestions and singing and laughing along with us.
