dMdC Photography

ered. She managed to capture all the key moments from the ceremony as well as the reception. She is our go-to Photographer for weddings, engagements, and portraits.

hroughout the entire planning process & shared in the fun of planning our wedding! The day of, seeing her familiar, friendly face at my parents’ house was so relieving! Desiree knew exactly what pictures & moments she wanted to photograph from the second she walked in the door. The entire day was a blur, but was so happy to have such an attentive, calming & fun presence around. Desiree felt like family! The pictures are absolutely stunning and we are so happy with how they turned out. Desiree (and her amazing second photographer John) was able to capture every single moment! I love looking at them & reliving the most fun day of our lives. I would recommend Desiree time and time again. Thank you for everything, Desiree!

e was my favorite wedding vendor that we chose for our big day. What I appreciated most was her ability to go with the flow when my husband and I wanted to go to specific locations in the area to get specific shots. Her vision was spot-on and we have over 700 hundred photos from our big day (love them all). Also, we hired a friend of a friend to do the videography and they worked really well as a team. She was happy to make arrangements with him and exchange emails/phone numbers leading up to the wedding and the day-of. Her turn around was fast, we received the photos within a month or so after the wedding. I know this can vary a lot with the season but I have a few other friends who had weddings months before us who waited longer than after we received ours! Also she was so reasonably priced, especially for the NY metro area!

really worked hard to make sure that we were happy. She stayed later than we had agreed and was super gracious and kind about it. She was also very responsive and offered suggestions and made changes when it came to our album. I highly recommend Des to anyone looking for a wonderful, patient, and talented photographer!

XTRA fun! When I look back at my pictures I am beyond thrilled with the way they turned out - I will be using her for many years to come!

a stressful day. After the wedding all of our guests raved how she was able to make everyone feel like they were a part of the wedding even though they were guests. Dollar for Dollar she is money well spent when planning your special day. I personally hate having my picture taken and yet Desiree takes shots that I not only like (which is rare) but ones I want to share with anyone who will look ! In a nut shell you would be foolish not to hire this professional for your wedding. The attention to detail and the creativity are a cut above the rest. Book her now while you still have the chance !

ed. I am so happy we booked her for our wedding!!! Thanks for everything, Desiree!!

ree was always professional and always took time to work with us. Unfortunately, our family suffered a tragic loss 9 months before our wedding and Desiree was immediately available to assist us in a sensitive approach, which we cannot thank her enough for. Her work is beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with our wedding pictures. We take such pride in showing our friends and family our wedding pictures and albums. If you are looking for a photographer with a great eye and an eccentric personality, Desiree is the one for you!

ay any shots. Plus if you love a more naturalistic feel to your wedding photos and are looking for a fully designed wedding album Desiree is your photographer.

dmdc was used for our engagement photos and our wedding photos and every image is just perfect. I have gotten so many compliments and I know that these pictures are just want I wanted to stand the test of time. I would absolutely recommend dmdc photography to anyone getting married!

ew Year's Eve wedding and we couldn't be happier with our pictures. Everyone compares the picture she caught of us at midnight to something out of a magazine. She really caught the most amazing moments and her and her team made everyone feel at ease. She did her job exceptionally and we had nothing but compliments from our guests and wedding party. Desiree was very flexible and has always responded to us quickly and efficiently through email and phone calls, which was important to us. We loved Desiree so much that we decided to do an additional wedding shoot once the weather became nicer in some gardens. We have so many amazing pictures to choose from. Our wedding is so well documented because of dMdC and we couldn't be happier!

el right at ease, listened to what we wanted and how we wanted our day remembered! She captured every special moment of our wedding day. When I look at my photographs you can feel our love story through the picture. You must choose DMDC Photography for your wedding photographer.

he loved her and felt comfortable. On the day of the wedding she took so many photographs but I never felt like she was in my face. When looking through the proofs I was shocked at just how many candid photos she got which were wonderful. We can't recommend her highly enough!

of ideas and working on the best priced package for our budget. Working with Desiree was the best decision. On the wedding day she took control of the situation and was focused on the job at hand. While being assertive Desiree was also so professional, with a friendly, happy and energetic approach. At times you wouldn't even realize she was taking pictures as she is so quick and quiet on her feet. The end result was more then we had expected. Desiree has a keen eye for color, design and chooses unique locations to shoot. Each shot was beautifully executed. We are delighted with the memories she helped to capture.

s also sure to obtain a list from us of everyone we wanted photographed. Just two months after our wedding we had access to our proof gallery and saw that not only did Desiree & Kenny photograph those we listed, we think they managed to photograph everyone who attended the wedding! They were there from start to finish, not just snapping away, but being positive & upbeat to tame any pre wedding jitters. They were everywhere all night and that was evident when we saw the proofs. Also, the formal pictures before guests arrived were a beautiful mixture of posed & candid shots. Having a March wedding, we were limited on outdoor photography, but DMDC made it look like the middle of June. We feel very fortunate to have had DMDC photograph our wedding and would recommend them without hesitation!

d thrilled that she was able to photograph our engagement session & wedding. Desiree is a true professional, flexible with every request and accomodated our every creative whim. She captured the essence of our wedding beautifully with unique personal touches, something that was very important to us. Her relatable style and friendly approach made it easy for her to engage both sides of our family and friends -- many commented on how wonderful she was to work with. We would highly recommend dMdC Photography for any special event, you will be amazed with your pictures as they will create lasting memories for years to come!

r dreamed of. Our families loved her work and actually made them cry tears of joy when they saw her pictures. My husband is a photographer and he was beyond impressed with her work. She has a special eye and can capture a moment that lasted only a second but will last forever through her photography. I consider her a true artist. She is professional yet can make you feel very comfortable. I consider myself lucky to have had her be part of my wedding. She is beyond a photographer. She is a talented artist who has mastered the skill of true photography. Thanks Des!!!

She captured the essence of our gorgeous outdoor wedding, the innocence of the young nieces and nephews in the wedding party and just the entire amazing experience. She posted pictures to her blog the next day. We were very anxious to see our proofs, which we did not have to wait long for. The finished products (our book, our parents' books) were professional and fantastic! We have recommended her to many friends and will continue to speak highly of our AWESOME photographer and friend!

made us feel comfortable in her presence -- something that you want when you're choosing a stranger to shoot pictures of one of the most important day of your lives. My husband and I knew right away that she was the right choice for our wedding day. Desiree remained completely engaged and flexible to our needs the entire time. She was always quick to respond and happy to help us in any way possible. Every once in awhile, you come across a person that emanates enthusiasm and friendliness in all that he or she does, even e-mails. Desiree is one of these people. She was super dedicated and willing to work with us to keep us happy. For our engagement session, she agreed to go on a 5-6 mile hike with us in order to shoot at Ramapo Forest ruins in northern NJ. The pictures came out phenomenal, and even though we experienced a minor accident, Desiree never failed to keep our best interest in mind. (Seriously, she's got a scar on her knee to prove it. Ask her about it and you will know how dedicated of a photographer she is!) She was timely and organized on our wedding day. She made us all feel so comfortable during our pictures and kept us laughing the entire time. This was something I greatly valued in her! Last (but certainly not least), her turnaround for our album and images was completely surprising! I have heard of couples who have had to wait one to two years to receive their album. Desiree had our album completed and our DVD of images burned and delivered within 6-7 months of our wedding date. If that isn't dedication to her clients, I don't know what is! We HIGHLY recommend Desiree for photography services for your big day! If we had to do it over, she'd continue as our top choice! Thank you, Desiree, for everything!! We miss you already :)!

ier with our wedding photos! She is easy to get in touch with and turnaround time was excellent. I cannot say enough nice things about her and look forward to using her again in the future for family photos! I think it is well worth the extra expense to have amazing wedding photos that we will treasure forever.

eeting her in person only affirmed that she was the perfect person to photograph our wedding. She made my husband and I laugh and feel comfortable, and she gave great direction throughout the day which made every single picture come out so beautifully. She even took the extra step of seeking out unique places to take our photos to make them even more special and truly us. I have yet to create my album because I can't decide which shots I like the best- one is more perfect than the next! She captured things that remember happening that day as well as things that I missed. She was also super organized and prepped for day of to avaid any wasted time- especially when it came to family photos. Overall a truly great experience! Thank you Desiree for giving us memories to last forever- beautiful ones!

never felt so at ease in front of the camera and our engagement photos were just beautiful. On our wedding day, she arrived early, she had already made sure that she knew of any and all special requests and formal portraits and was ready to roll. She didn't make the photography part of the day take over the way other photographers do, again made us feel at ease and just made it fun. She brought an assistant who worked alongside her and was wonderful as well. UPDATE: Well the pictures are just stunning!! For a pair of people who really don't like to be in pictures, we can't love them any more! Desiree continues to be super in every way. She's a professional through and through. We couldn't have made a better choice in our photographer for our special day. She is truly amazing!!

We have gotten so many compliments on them - and still do! She blends fun/quirky photos with classic ones - the perfect balance. I was really sad when our wedding was over because I knew I would miss working with her...now i can't wait for some "bump" and baby portraits!!!

engagement shots and wedding as well as prints from the wedding, an album and every image on a disk. I am 100% satisfied with Desiree's work. She knows what she is doing and loves a challenge. If you have something funky in mind... she's the girl to hire! Sensing my husband and my quirky personality she brought along goofy glasses for us to wear for some wedding photos... we loved it! She infuses every session with laughs, which in turn, make you laugh and make your photos come out great. After the wedding, we also hired her again to take photos of our newborn son. Fantastic again!

rk is amazing--take a look at her blog (which she put up the day after our wedding). She's efficient and organized. I can't wait to see the rest of our pictures.
