Dan and Karin were nothing short of exceptional. They are so talented and we are beyond satisfied with our engagement and wedding photos. They were accommodating to our scheduling needs and even willing to brave a foot of snow and 10 degree weather for hours of outdoor pictures for our winter wedding. They made the entire process very simple and stress free and blew us away with our pictures. We are so thankful we hired them. During our planning process, we fell in love with their work even though they were above budget for us. After our initial meeting we felt so comfortable with them and their work that we decided to go above our budget, and we sure are thankful we did. They captured so many special photographs that we probably would've paid them double! Also, don't underestimate the value of having two professional photographers on scene. My wife made the comment several times that having Karin there was like having another personal attendant. She was willing to do anything that was needed.

Dan and Karin are so amazing to work with. From initial meeting to engagement photos to the wedding - they have such an artistic eye and truly took all of my suggestions and questions to heart. I have not seen all of my photos from the wedding yet but the few that I did receive the following day were stunning and I cant wait to receive the rest! Thank you so much for everything!

We worked with Tom and Rochelle, and they did not disappoint. As husband and wife team they worked so well together and balanced one another with their photos. We had a lot of personal touches--from our dog in the engagement photos to centerpieces at the wedding--and Tom and Rochelle captured it all with ease and beauty. We were so happy with choice.

A friend of ours had used DnK for their wedding photography a couple years ago. Dan and Karin were already booked for our wedding date but their associates were available. I am very particular, especially when it comes to photography. While I was a little nervous to use someone who I didn't know, Tom and Rochelle put my worries at ease. They were outgoing, willing to brave the cold, encouraged outdoor photos (even though it was 0 degrees outside) and energetic. The pictures of just the two if us were stunning. If I had to point out one thing it would be that although we love all of our au naturale/photo journalistic photos, I do wish we had a few posed pics where we were told to suck it in, or pointed out arm flab or a wrinkle in the dress, etc... Also, an FB sneak peak or wedding board would've been awesome while we were waiting to get the proofs back. Overall, we are very pleased and would recommend them again and again. Scott and Hannah did an excellent job photographing our wedding. Their turnover time was EXCELLENT, as I talked to many other brides who were expecting their photos in 8-12 weeks, meanwhile I got my photos back in less than 6 weeks from Scott & Hannah. Big, big plus!! They are so talented (not to mention friendly and nice), and we seriously loved every image.

Amazing photographers!!! Their pictures are very artistic and truly capture your day. Fantastic work! We have just got our sneak peek back, but I am already obsessed with the photos :) Very easy to work with! Karin had a great vision and awesome photo ideas. She had great advice for the timeline for the day, and made everything so easy! She really made the day fun! They also have a super cute studio in St. Louis Park!

We booked Scott and Hannah for our wedding photographers. Simply put--they were amazing! Pictures were amazing and they were so wonderful to work with! The package is fantastic, especially if getting copyright our your digital photos is a priority--which it was to us.

Dan and Karin were by far our favorite wedding vendors. They were friendly to work with, followed up when we needed them to and were so helpful leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding they were perfect to have around. You end up spending a lot of time with your photographers and Dan and Karin do an excellent job of blending in when they need to and taking charge when that is best. You can tell they love what they do! When we got our pictures back we were so happy with them. Everyone that sees them loves them, and starts telling stories about how fun the day was - which I think is exactly what you want from your wedding pictures. Couldn't recommend them more!

For our wedding we ended up using SnH (Scott and Hannah) though DnK photography and I truly couldn't have been happier. Scott and Hannah were incredibly professional and actually took the time to go investigate the surrounding area of my wedding, an area they were unfamiliar with and an hour from their home, before the wedding. That being said I have received praise beyond what I could have imagined for our photographs including from those who tend to complain about absolutely everything. More importantly my wife and I are incredibly happy with them. The people behind the camera are wonderful and I would suggest them without question to anyone.

Ok so I haven't gotten my photos back yet but I have no worries that DnK will do wonderfully. Karin is a delight to work with and their portfolio is outstanding! The only downside is their cost. They are on the pricey side to get a full day of coverage...its a lot to invest when you don't know what the outcome will be.

DNK did the most beautiful shots of my day! They were accommodating, eager to get the shots that I wanted while also incorporating their own ideas to make the shots perfect! They have such a great eye for lighting and how to best frame their subjects. Also, when I suggested doing a State fair "Trash the Dress" photo shoot they willingly JUMPED at the opportunity - just goes to show that they are comfortable shooting in all environments! (and PS - the shots at the fair are BEAUTIFUL - see their Facebook at DNK Photography to look!) Plus - the prices are AMAZING! We live in NYC and I have friends who pay upwards of 10,000 for their photographers, and even in MN we looked at photographers for 4 or 5,000. DNK were SIGNIFICANTLY less than that - they know real people are on a budget but want beautiful pictures. Seriously the best bang you can get for your buck. To be perfectly honest, I think they're worth more than what we paid them. WAY more. (WHY go anywhere else when you can get this kind of quality?!) Not to mention that they're SUPER nice people and they went WAY above and beyond for our special day! Thank you DNK! We LOVE our photos and will treasure them always! I had a wonderful experience with DnK Photography for my wedding. This husband and wife team was professional, creative and so much fun to work with. The photos came back quickly after the wedding and were even better than I could have imagined. DnK provided a great value and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing photographer!

I have to admit we were lazy when it came to planning our wedding, and Karin and Dan were the first and only photographers we met with. I'm glad we went with them- they were so sweet and easy going. We ended up with pictures that literally let me relive the whole day over and over again. They ALSO didn't "make" us do any cheesy wedding pictures, which was a huge plus in my book :) If you give them a list of what pictures you want, professional and otherwise, they will work directly off of the list. Very accommodating, and very reasonable. The engagement session is part of the package, we didn't do it but I would definitely recommend it.

This husband and wife duo couldnt get any better. They are the sweetest couple to work with. They are so so so accommodating and really work to make your experience the best is can be for YOU. I got married last June and my outdoor wedding was stormed out. While everyone was sitting in the pavilion waiting for the rain to stop, DnK did not use that as an excuse to take a break. They continued to capture so many fun happenings that were happening in that time and came out with a bunch of great photos. I get so many compliments on my wedding pictures, I totally recommend DnK!!

DnK did a great job photographing our wedding. They kept everything moving along and got both classic and creative pictures. Plus everyone loved the photo booth pictures. It was nice having 2 experts to divide and conquer and they stayed late into the night while the party got started. They also got us the final pictures quickly, within a month after the wedding.

You can't go wrong choosing these photographers for your wedding, or any other event! These 2 are the best photographer's to deal with, always answering questions that anyone in your family has. I love their style of photography...capturing the candid shots with their knack for knowing when to be where! I got to see parts of the day that I had missed through their photographs. This team gets their photos out to the bride and groom quickly, so you don't have wait to see their captured excellence of your day! They make it just that too, YOUR day, what you want, goes! Dan and Karin do a wonderful job of capturing the most beautiful moments! Our package with them included engagement and wedding photos. When we got our engagment pics back, we were even more excited for our wedding because of the amazing work they did! They definitely have an "eye" for photography. They are very creative and have so many great ideas to incorporate the scenery/setting into the photo. They are very easy to work with too! We also got our wedding photos back very quickly. Joe and I got married in -17 degree weather, and DnK Photography was right there with us to capture some amazing moments on our sliegh ride. I found DnK on a random website while looking for a photographer. After meeting Dan & Karin, my (now) husband and I knew that they were the photographers we were looking for. They are friendly, fun, professional and pay great attention to detail and help you along in every step of the process. They make sure they get to know you and give you the experience you are seeking. We had engagement and family pictures done by them 6 monts prior to the wedding and once we received them, we couldn't wait for our wedding day and its pictures since they pictures were so amazing. The wedding day pictures were even better! They captured every detail we worked so hard in planning as well as the moments we didn't even know existed. I really cannot say enough about DnK. They have such a creative eye and really bring out the personality of the couple and the venue. They are THE BEST photographers and provide such an exceptional value. I highly recommend them to my friends and anyone else. I really can't say enough about Dan & Karin.

My husband found DnK randomly on some wedding website. We did not know them previously, but from the moment we met them, we knew they were the photographers we wanted. They were professional, experienced, creative, easy to work with, and all around awesome people. We absolutely loved taking our engagement pictures with them. They went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted and created a package especially for us. Communication prior to the wedding was awesome. Karin always got back to me right away and confirmed every detail. They also went to our locations ahead of time to get ideas for cool pictures! That was way above and beyond and really made a difference. The wedding day went smoothly and it was SO nice to have two photographers. They are basically two photographers for the price of one. We had twice the awesome pictures, twice the angles, twice the coverage of everything. And they are a husband and wife team, so Karin was with me while I was getting ready and Dan was with Tim while he was getting ready. Yay for no awkwardness. By the time we got back from our honeymoon our pictures were already in our mailbox! We were so pleasantly surprised that the CD was already waiting for us!!! They were SO fast! We looked at all the pictures and we LOVE them! Our experience with DnK was even more wonderful than I could have imagined. Like I said, we did not know Dan or Karin before we found them online, but after such a wonderful experience with them, I would now call them my friends. How many people can say that about their wedding photographer? :-)

We got married in July 2010 and did wedding and engagement photos with DnK. They're great to work with! They helped us relax and be naturally happy for the photos. When we got our wedding photos it was so fun to look back and see the moments we missed but they captured. While the whole day was a blur to us, they were always in the right place capturing everything. On top of being fun and professional they're also great at their art. The photos look great! We knew from the get go that photography was important to us and we were willing to pay for the quality we wanted. We though they were worth every penny!

After reviewing their website over a year ago, we knew Dan and Karin would be the perfect pair to shoot our wedding. They have a style and ability to make you feel so comfortable, which of course, leads to AMAZING pictures. Every time we look at our pictures we are brought right back to excitement and emotions we experienced that day.We also appreciated how none of our pictures appear overly posed or stiff. We’re not sure how they did it, but they managed to capture every special moment and for that we are eternally grateful. Dan is the owner and head photographer for DnK photographer. His wife, Karin, is a secondary photographer who is amazing at photos also. They work great as a team getting all the wonderful shots you have ever dreamed of. Karin is great at posing and with Dan's creative energy they think of everything! They made our day amazing and gave us wonderful photos to help us remember every detail of the wedding!
