told him we loved the early 2000s and dance music, and he absolutely nailed it. He hit every single one of our must-play songs and mixed them perfectly, keeping the dance floor packed all night. The timeline, announcements, and little details were all handled so smoothly that we never had to stress—Doc had it covered. Our friends keep saying it was the most fun wedding they’ve been to. If you want a DJ who is professional, detailed, and knows how to read the room, hire Doc.

On the day of the wedding he was a competent MC. Our main concern was that he did not wind down the reception music at the time we originally asked him to, which resulted in us having less time to clean up at the end of the evening.

ading his glowing reviews and seeing his impressive experience, what we received was far from professional. From rehearsal to the end of the reception, he overpromised and underdelivered. At the rehearsal, the microphone he provided for the officiant (my sister’s husband) died halfway through rehearsal, and he did not have spare batteries. Thankfully, we did and were able to keep things moving. He also did not assist with any direction or coordination of the wedding party, despite advertising this as part of his DJ and “event coordinator” service. I even paid for him to stay in a cabin the night before to ensure he would be fully prepared and on time for the wedding. On the wedding day, Doc brought his son as an unapproved assistant and had him present for the entire evening. The ceremony and reception both included multiple mistakes that caused unnecessary stress. During the ceremony, he restarted the bridal party processional song about 30 seconds in, then left me standing and waiting for over a minute before finally playing my entrance song. It was disorganized, uncomfortable, and completely avoidable — especially after attending rehearsal. At the reception, Doc mixed up the cocktail hour and dinner playlists, playing the wrong music for each portion of the evening. When it came time for the first dances, I personally told him five minutes beforehand that I wanted our first dance cut halfway through, but he played the entire song anyway. During the father-daughter dance, we had discussed cutting the song at a specific point because my dad and I didn’t like the ending, but Doc let it play about 30–45 seconds longer than planned. He also told me he would make sure I had champagne ready for the toasts, but he never checked in, and everyone else had champagne except for us. Thankfully, the venue owner noticed and quickly brought us some so we could participate. Once it was time for open dancing, the energy on the dance floor was inconsistent. He would have the floor full one moment, then play a slow song immediately after, completely killing the vibe. He also wasn’t smooth when transitioning between songs — instead of clean fades or mixes, he often played the next song while the current one was still going, making the music sound jumbled with two tracks overlapping. It felt uncoordinated and disrupted the flow of the night. For someone who claims to have done over 3,000 weddings and to be a Hall of Fame vendor on The Knot and WeddingWire, these mistakes and lack of professionalism are unacceptable — especially after attending rehearsal and being paid for overnight accommodations. Overall, our experience with Doc Vincent Entertainment was disappointing, stressful, and far below what was promised. What should have been seamless and joyful became a series of preventable mistakes. I cannot recommend his services and hope this feedback helps other couples make an informed decision.

When discussing some options and questions about our wedding, he covered everything we could imagine and more. He even brought some fresh ideas to incorporate that we hadn’t considered and they turned out wonderfully. Doc didn’t even blink when we made some on-the-fly changes during the reception. He was our DJ for our wedding in early June and unfortunately I am just now getting to writing this review. However, please look no further for someone to provide excellent service to make your event spectacular. I would trust Doc with my life, let alone to DJ my wedding.

We married at Snowshoe Mountain Lodge in WV but we are from PA & he was so helpful in navigating us in a PA tradition of the Bridal Dance that most people don’t know about. The weather had us scrambling around a bit on the day of but he was able to easily adapt & accommodate to make sure everything from our ceremony, got our reception & Rain&Sparkling exit was perfect. I couldn’t give you a more genuine “he’s your guy” if I tried. Some people try to charge you for every little thing as well but he was so reasonable & also provided beautiful up lighting & setup❤️

The only issue I have (which I was not aware of at the time) it was raining and the radar showed we had a window of about an hour and a half for ceremony and pictures…he kept pushing us to make the call to go inside. We knew the rain would stop but he kept insisting we make a call even though the venue owners told us to wait it out we were going to get some sunshine and even got a little snippy when we said to wait. He also had some of the names written down wrong even though we went over it multiple times (3 times to be exact). It also sometimes took a really long time for a response and things he said he would have sent over to me that evening were never seen until I sent an email or a couple days passed.. Overall he did a wonderful job with our music choices and keeping things going and with some quick changes we made on the fly because of the rain. It was a stressful day for everyone but eventually I was tired of the “we have to make a call right now” stuff since we did up waiting it out and it turned out beautiful.

He didn’t tell me but he made sure he had the hotel set up speakers and some lights at his expense and he brought his music and his main piece to DJ with including mics. WOW!!! I didn’t have a clue about the toast, cake, first dance nothing. So when he disappeared and I heard his voice introduce me and my new wife I about lost it. He did all of this just for us. There was just going to be a dinner and drinks but after he had lights and music with a little help from the hotel it was a beautiful reception!! What a best friend! I am still just in awe of what he did for us!! Not only is he my best friend he is so unselfish and thoughtful. There just is no one better!! No one!! Thanks brother.
