Chassey and the Dock’s Beach House team made wedding planning straightforward, stress-free, and truly enjoyable.
Their billing and fees were transparent, reasonable, and flexible—...
no surprises, just great service.
The venue offered beautiful views of Lake Erie and plenty of activities to keep guests of all ages entertained throughout the weekend.
The Dock’s staff handled setup, teardown, and cleanup seamlessly, allowing us to focus on celebrating with our loved ones.
Our best advice? Rent the entire motel if you can, and have any overflow guests stay just across the street.
If we could give this more than five stars, we absolutely would!
Stop your searching because this is the place for your wedding or any event, they deliver!! Chassey and her crew were amazing! From communication, to understanding my vision and se...
tting it up, and catering the event as well they did it all and did it right! I cannot say enough about how well everything was! The venue is amazing, beautiful beach views, gorgeous sunset views, beachy vibes, and being able to stay 20 steps from the venue to your room this place had it all. Bar and restaurant steps away, covered venue to shade the sun, and handicap accessible for my disabled family. This is the only place to have your summer wedding, we couldn't have asked for more!
Chassey was awesome!! She was very kind and sweet. My husband and I booked the venue/pavilion 21 months prior to the wedding date sight unseen based off her personality, customer s...
ervice, pictures, cost and the fact that I wanted a beach wedding in Ohio. The months and days before the wedding, if we had any questions, comments or concerns, she responded in a reasonable amount of time. We went to visit the venue a year before the actual wedding (5/27/2024) so that we could get a visual of the area. The day of the wedding, Chassey and her team were very helpful, kind and courteous to myself, family, and friends. They helped us decorate the venue although we brought our own decorations. Everything was beautiful and ready before the start of the wedding. They made us feel very comfortable. They went above and beyond our expectations. We (family and friends included) will definitely be back to visit for vacation.
Their staff was timely and efficient in set up for the day of our family's Wedding! Everyone I personally came across was kind, helpful, and even offered assistance in areas not ex...
pected of them. The food was absolutely delicious as well! 😁😁 Thanks Docks Beach House! 🥰🥰
Had our wedding here in beginning of August 2023. It was perfect! Chassey was amazing the entire time. Since the first moment that we met with her and all the way up to our spec...
ial day, she was responsive, accommodating, and helpful. The wedding day was great, service was great, venue was well put together. We also stayed the night in the motel. I had a lot of guests come from out of town, and they stayed at both the motel and hotel across the street. Personally, we had a great experience at the motel, the room was clean and staff were very nice. Lastly, we reserved the "getting ready" room. It was great.
Just a few tips for anyone that books here in the future. I didn't account for the winds, a lot of my pictures/decor fell down often. I used museum putty but apparently not enough. Also, I should have had the DJ make an announcement about the getting ready room, to let the guest know that they could use the bathroom and cool down there if needed.
Chassey was an EXCEPTIONAL person to work with. From our first meeting with her to the last detail, she was there to help. The wedding was everything we hoped it would be. The food...
was wonderful and the venue was beautiful. Chassey told us ahead of time what the cost would be for the venue, food, wedding arch, and decor package, and it was exactly what she quoted. No hidden fees, which I appreciated! Chassey answered every question, gave great suggestions, and even worked the dinner because they were short-staffed. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Thank you, Chassey.
Everything was more than I could dream of. thank you so much chassey for all your help!

id it was the best wedding they had been to. Honestly you can’t beat being right on the water with great music. The price is super reasonable as well.
100 percent yes get married here
We wanted a relaxing, carefree, fun day on the beach with family and friends, and we definitely got it! A lot of us stayed there at the Beachfront Resort, so we all hung out before...
the wedding too, and went to Dock’s Beach House for some dinner and drinks the night before. Chassey and her crew took care of every detail, from setup to tear down. We had SO MUCH FOOD! We had cheese and crackers, veggies, and coconut shrimp as appetizers and that shrimp was amazing! Then we had a taco bar with shrimp tacos and beef tacos. Everyone raved about the food! We served beer and pop and white wine sangria, which was also a hit. We rented their cornhole/bags setup, so people played that. We rented the fire ring and brought firewood and stuff to make s’mores. People sat around the fire and chatted. Kids played in the water and sand, and everyone watched a beautiful sunset and visited with each other. Everyone loved it. It was a beautiful day, and just as relaxed and “unfussy” (if that’s a word) as it could be. It’s funny because during the months leading up to the wedding I didn’t hear from Chassey and got a little nervous. I shouldn’t have! She’s a total pro. We sat down shortly before the wedding to go over the details, and she just made it happen! She and the rest of the crew made it look easy. They’re that good. There was another, larger, fancier wedding the night before ours, and it was also gorgeous! The venue is so versatile!

with and her staff was fantastic. Our guests loved the venue and commented on how laid back our wedding was, which was a goal of ours. The view was wonderful, there was no worry with set up their crew did it all. If any issues came up during I didn't know at all. We did the taco bar and I upgraded to shredded beef and I got a lot of compliments on how good the food was, and I agree it was fantastic! We ordered a couple kegs of beer, margaritas and wine. We didn't have anything left over by the end of the night and every had a blast. I couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. Thank you Chassey - you were amazing!

s feel very welcomed. She was also very flexible with how we wanted to adjust our budget with food, linens, and alcohol. The wedding day went perfectly, despite a surprising Lake Erie summer storm. All of the staff were so friendly and did everything possible to make our day special and wonderful. We even got to hang out with Chassey afterwards and celebrate some more! Even though it stormed, we would not have changed a thing. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Chassey and the Docks Beach House staff.

own, Chassey and the girls did everything to see to it that our day was beautiful and special. The scenery was beyond amazing with the sunset going down over the beach...so romantic! We had them cater our wedding which my guest was raving the whole night on how delicious the food was (Top Sirlion Au Jus, Chicken and Shrimp Kabobs.)
So if you're looking for the perfect spot that is gorgeous, fun, relaxing and romantic, Dock's Beach House is the place! We also stayed at the Beachfront Resort which is right beside Docks. Very clean and comfortable rooms with the view of the lake. We'll definitely be coming back!! Thanks again to Chassey and the girls! You made our wedding the very best!
