About this vendor
I love music, and I love dancing.
I got into DJing because I wanted to make sure there was good music out there to dance to. I've been DJing for about 5 years and love doing parties and playing gigs, but I wanted to get back into working weddings. I've worked in weddings in different capacities for many years. I worked in catering for about 7 years and floristry for 2 years. So, I have a lot of exposure to what it takes to get your special event running smoothly and to your liking.
Having been in a band for about 10 years I have experience mixing live sound, so I'm equipped to mix a live band for your ceremony or reception, as well as making sure your ceremony and speeches are well amplified.
I love helping people realize their vision for their special day!

DJ Doctress brought the party to our wedding reception! Lily was great to work with and took care with our requests. Our guests loved the dance party!
Lily was amazing to work with! She handled all the sound and music for both our ceremony and reception, and everything was perfect. She was super organized and offered great sugges...
tions that really enhanced each moment of the day. And the dance music—absolute fire! She had guests of all ages on the dance floor all night long, right up until the venue shut us down. Highly recommend!

to setting the right vibe. She DJ'd our wedding dance party and people still talk about it 2 years later!
Amazing DJ!!! We had such a blast and Lily really helped make the day special. She went way above and beyond and helped with so much more than we had expected.
DJ Doctress was a lot of fun to work with. She stayed calm during the ceremony and timed things well for the bride's procession. The dance party was personalized and so much fun.
Lily was a great DJ/MC for our wedding! There were absolutely no issues amplifying our many sound needs for our wedding: live music during the ceremony, our voices for ceremony and...
speeches, and dinner and dancing music. She was incredibly professional throughout the entire process and willing to problem solve with us before the day to make sure everything ran smoothy. Her DJ skills during dancing were great! She had an ear for what the crowd wanted at any given time, but was still willing to take requests as the vibe dictated. She worked with us before the day to ensure our tastes and preferences were incorporated into her set list. We would strongly recommend her, she was probably one of the easiest people to work with and the least stressful part of our entire wedding experience!
Lily is literally the best DJ ever. To me THE most important part of djing is the transition between songs. I’ve literally had djs who do not know how to transition between songs a...
nd it completely kills the vibe. Not only that she listens to what you like and the vibe you’re trying to go for and she nails it. Need something for cocktail hour that is pleasing to boomers and gen z alike? No problem - she’s got you covered. Need booty bumpin music for the late night once the parents have left? She’s got you covered. Cannot tell you how many people asked for her contact after our wedding! If you want to bring the party to life then Lily is your lady!
DJ Doctress (aka Lily) DJ'ed our wedding after we had witnessed her DJ'ing at a few non-wedding events. Her music selection is amazing and she was very accommodating and profession...
al to work with on some choices we wanted to make for requests from family members, friends, or for special moments during our event. DJ Doctress was on time, had excellent and well maintained equipment, and wore an ammmazzzing outfit that complemented our dance party theme.
Perhaps we'll have to hire her for a ten year anniversary party! :P
