hey also threw in so many extra special details that we didn't expect that made our day unforgettable. For anyone looking for a non-traditional wedding reception space in the Triangle, look no further! Dave and Elyssa worked with us prior to the wedding to determine what bar package and catering we wanted (one great perk of working with Dogwood was that outside catering is welcome) and how we wanted the space set up. Dave especially was so amenable to our asks, particularly in dealing with potential rain on the patio. In the days before the event, Dave handled coordinating a tent for the outdoor space that worked out beautifully for our guests. The day of the event, we checked in early to find the space perfectly arranged - the patio especially was such a perfect fit even in mildly chilly weather, as we had gas firepits, warm blankets, and cozy, stylish seating. Elyssa did a wonderful job of making the entire space look amazing while also making sure our guests were comfortable. Each of the bays was set up to allow our guests to explore a range of different golf activities (including kid-friendly versions), and our guests loved the putting green and the interactive putt-view games. We also want to give a MASSIVE shout-out to Becca, Kelsie, and Peter. All three of them helped us set up the space prior to the event, and took down the decorations for us to pick up the next day. Becca worked with us prior to the wedding to not only coordinate signature drinks, but also to design the CUTEST bar menu that was personalized with pictures of our dogs! As Bar Manager, Becca was AMAZING and we are so grateful for her help in figuring out our drink menu. Becca, Kelsie, and Peter were rockstars at our open bar - despite the relatively high volume of drink orders, they handled it beautifully, and gave us plenty of time towards the end of the evening to usher folks out. They also had a surprise for us in that they created a custom drink foam topper, which we absolutely loved!! We couldn't have imagined a better way to celebrate our courthouse ceremony, and our guests loved it - we got so many complements on our choice of venue and the space. We feel like we've discovered an amazing hidden gem for prime wedding reception spots in the triangle - the location is central to downtown Raleigh, the parking is free, and we felt like the price for the experience was more than reasonable! Now we keep asking ourselves - is it too soon to host our anniversary party at Dogwood?
