hey left a little note with goodies in my room, my husband's room, and the parents' rooms. The night of our wedding, we had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us. The next morning, our brunch event for the family was perfect! I highly recommend! Jennifer P was so helpful and made the experience VERY easy for us. Thanks, Sheraton! Can't wait to see how our wedding prep pics at the hotel come out! :)

. I had the great pleasure to deal with Kam as my contact, and besides being such a sweet person, she went above and beyond. She responded quickly to all my questions, even the ones I asked more than once, with patience and kindness. She was extremely helpful the day before with setting everything up. The day of my wedding, Kam dealt with all the annoying problems (late guests, flowers not prepped properly by the florist, etc.) and let me relax and enjoy my wedding day. She was very attentive and helpful throughout. Her attention to detail is amazing, and she even color-coordinated her outfit to match my colors. The banquet captain, servers, and bartender were all amazing and so well-organized that I really didn't have to worry about a thing. On top of all that, the price was very reasonable and the food was delicious. My husband and I will be singing Kam's praises for many years!

erson I have ever dealt with and is 100% the reason we decided not to get married here.
We went to go see the venue in December 2018 and we loved it! At that point our contact person was a woman named Jessica. I live across the country so this was mostly done through my parents. She gave them all the information they wanted and we were all set to go ahead with the booking process for a May 2020 wedding. She said she was actually going to give us over to John for further in the process.
John went on vacation, fine it was the holidays I totally get it. I reached out to him in the second week of January, my fiancé reached out to him, my wedding planner reached out to him. Not as single answer to several email and phone call attempts. Finally I got in touch with him once and I specified which weekend I wanted to get married to make sure we don’t lose the venue. He was like yes! I will look into it and get back to you tomorrow.... 3 weeks later no answer.
Finally my wedding planner got in touch with him 1. He gave away the dates we wanted 2. He said if we wanted it now there is a minimum of 350 guests (NEVER mentioned before) 3. He said my parents had gone to see the venue in September so it’s on us for “dragging our feet for so long (I wasn’t even engaged in September so that’s a complete lie)
We ended up having to change our wedding date anyway (thanks to him waiting 6 weeks to tell me I don’t have a wedding venue and most other venues started getting booked up) but decided to not even reconsider the Sheraton since it would be such a pain to work with him, and that’s not the stress any couple needs.
Overall the venue is nice so if you do plan on considering it I would specifically ask to not work with him.

om and not have to worry about anything. Jennifer was the biggest help and help me plan the entire thing. She responded immediately and worked out all the details. The guests all enjoyed the complimentary shuttle service that the Sheraton provided.
One disappointment was the brunch my husband and I held for our guests the morning after. Unfortunately, Jennifer was not there to help, and we worked with staff that were rude and annoyed with our requests. We had guaranteed 40 people for the brunch, with intentions of 50 coming. They only had 4 tables set up. We requested more tables, and the response we got was quite nasty. They told me I only paid for 40 people and they weren't setting up tables. Nothing yet was paid for, it was all subject to the final count. I regret spending close to 2k on a brunch where the staff made my guests feel unwanted.

drew us in. For an all-day Indian wedding, we knew we were in good hands after meeting Laurie G. She is awesome! During our meetings leading up to the wedding, she answered all of our questions and was so easy to work with. On the actual wedding day, her team ensured that everything went smoothly. Nevada, our maitre'd was incredible behind the scenes. The Sheraton worked with all of our vendors to make sure our day was perfect. Also, unlike most brides, I was actually well fed on my wedding day. This was because Nevada's team made sure I ate and made sure I was hydrated. During our reception, my husband and I were taken to a private room were we had our first dinner together. All the food was set up for us and we didn't have any interruptions. From ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception- the entire day went smoothly thanks to Laurie, Nevada, and the entire Sheraton staff.

m block included exclusive use of a shuttle to/from the reception which was great. However, the room rate was $30 more than what you could get directly from the hotel's website. The event manager that I had been working with was not there the day of the breakfast and the restaurant was not prepared for our party. There were only 2 waiters, and instead of accomodating our party of 50 people, they just kept saying well that's not what we were told, when we had signed a contract for the breakfast. My mother ended up moving tables around herself. They didn't have enough food on the buffet and the wait staff was not nice about it.

My husband got a stomach bug the day of the wedding and the maitre'd brought him chicken noodle soup, crackers, & gingerale to make sure he felt well enough to enjoy our day. Simply amazing is the only way to describe the whole process!

Our guests raved about going to a wedding in a castle. They really did treat you like royalty too. They thought of ways to take care of us that we wouldn't have thought of on our own. I would HIGHLY recommend using the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel for you wedding! It was such a wonderful experience!
