No protective spray or any products where used whatsoever and she didn’t even come with a mirror and when asked to recurl my moms hair that went flat she made a deal about switching curling irons! We had to ask for hairspray! The style I received was awful and I fee like I wasn’t even ready for a wedding! The stylist didn’t know what the cost was and we were given no deal for multi heads like quoted! For 270!!!!! We could have gone to a hair dresser and paid 45-60$ and gotten What we wanted! Not only that no common stings afterwards even tho o messaged three times! I’m appalled with the service and would like to speak to someone about receiving a refund! i had 3 artists arrived to my hotel on time and were able to get all 5 of my bridesmaids, myself, my mom and my MIL done in a timely manner. We were actually ahead of schedule! We also had a small space to work with but they easily adjusted.
Every time I've had my make up professionally done, I was never happy with it so I was concerned when it came time to choosing a make up artist for my wedding. I paid for the trial and for the first time ever, I LOVED IT! I'm convinced that not a lot of make up artists know how to do Asian make up. LOL.
I also had a very diverse group of bridesmaids which made me concerned but they reassured me multiple times that their artists could accommodate and they were correct! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful.

Dollheads popped up on my radar from theknot.com's recommended vendors. After scrolling through their portfolio and seeing pictures of their work, I was sold. Nicole, the owner, was extremely responsive (brides, you'll come to appreciate that) and so easy to work with.
I hired Dollheads to beautify my 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and myself. On the morning of the wedding, Sarah showed up with other 2 stylists, set up, and went straight to work. Everyone LOOOOVED what they did, and I never felt more beautiful. The team took our pictures and our visions and brought it to life.

There was a chance of rain and I changed the start up time a couple times and the team was very flexible with it, which I truly appreciated. Amani was my stylist and was a sweetheart from the start . My maid of honors makeup and hair was on point ! When it came time for me I put all my trust on her, i didn't have a specific look. She is a true artist because my makeup was flawless and stayed on from the moment she did it which was like 12pm to the next morning!! No I didn't wash it off Haahaa it was to perfect . The trial went great and I knew exactly what to expect on my wedding day. Then the day of my hair and makeup were flawless. They also did hair & makeup for 2 or my bridesmaids and my mother and everyone loved the girls. They were true artists and extremely processional. They were able to carry out my vision of old Hollywood glamour for my hair and makeup. If I wanted anything changed they did it with no questions asked. They wanted everyone to be happy. They were on time and having the payment process already set up helps with the day of stress. Not having to think of that on the day of your wedding. I promptly received receipts for what was charged to my credit card. Overall a stress free and wonderful experience.

herefore I went straight to Dollheads. I never even searched for or even "trial"ed with any other wedding makeup artist. they did my engagement photoshoot and wedding makeup and I loved it. ZERO complaints. I tend to be tomboyish, so I always feel a little uncomfortable with huge amounts of makeup on, but never with Dollheads team. they make everything look so natural, and more importantly, feel natural. ut I know what I DON'T like pretty clearly. I also had a pretty good idea of what I wanted as far as make up, but I never did a test with Andy because something kept telling me it was unnecessary. And boy was I right. andy knew exactly what I wanted and added all of her professional touches and technique, and turned me into a supermodel bride! She was professional, patient and 100% focused on her work despite the many distractions, the room being tiny and everyone butting in. Everyone had something to say about my make up and my hair including my husband who was so skeptical about me getting my make up professionally made.
Andy also did my hair with very little guidance as I couldn't make up my mind on wearing it up or down and we were kinda of running out of time. She quickly came up with a soft updo on the spot, accessorized it with fresh orchids, and it turned out to be perfect.
