We hired Dolly's Party Bus to transport our wedding guests from the venue to the hotels. While the service was performed, we had a negative experience with Dolly's. Many of our guests commented on the negative demeanor of the bus driver. They noted it seemed like she didn't like her job and didn't want to be there. We had guests staying at 2 different hotels. When our guests requested to be dropped off at the second hotel, the driver initially denied their request as that was not listed on her stop list. We were also informed by our wedding guests that the bus driver damaged the overhang at one of the hotels. They noted that not only did she damage it but she didn't slow down and continued to drive through it after hitting it. After contacting Dolly's about our concerns, the person we talked to, Stacy, replied back and denied our concerns stating "I have worked here for a very long time and get nothing but compliments on all our drivers", and "I never have any complaints from customers on any of our drivers". Regarding the bus driver damaging the overhang, she stated "The bus does not have a scratch on it anywhere, especially the top of the bus so I am quite sure the bus did not hit anything". However, after calling the hotel and asking about the overhang, they sent pictures of the damage and informed us they would be filing a police report. Long story short, don't hire Dolly's. They are one of the only shuttle services around so they can get away with poor service and customer relationships.
Dolly’s was super easy to work with! They were very responsive in helping us decide the size of bus we would need for our reception as well as the times/length the bus would run. The driver was on time the day of the wedding and made sure everyone had a ride back to the hotel. We would recommend anyone to use Dolly’s for their transportation needs!
To be honest, the Dubuque doesn't have many options for group transportation, but we didn't need anyone else thanks to Dolly's! They are so reasonably priced, and willing to come all the way from Cedar Falls (about 1.5 hours) just for our wedding party to ride from the ceremony to the reception (with one stop for pictures). They were very accommodating with our music, coolers, route, timeline, etc. Dolly's made that step of our crazy busy wedding day very simple!
Dolly’s was so great to work with leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day. The driver arrived on time and was super patient while we were trying to find everyone to get on the bus. The whole party felt safe in the bus and the bus was adequately clean. It was a fun experience for our wedding party!
They were on time, the bus was clean, the driver was fun, and we had a blast! 10/10 would recommend!
Would not recommend. The people were friendly, easy to work with and reasonably priced. However the bus broke down between the wedding and getting us to the reception. We had to have 10 wedding guests leave cocktail hour to come pick all 30 of us up! I will say they were on time at the church and did give us a full refund. Yet in the 6 weeks that we have been married we have seen 3, yes THREE other dolly party buses broke down on the side of the road in various places across the state. It seems they need to work on their maintenance! Definitely have a back up plan if you decide to use.
The Dolly's team was great to work with! Very responsive and easy to communicate with; they provided a party bus for our wedding party transportation, and getting everything coordinated and executed was a breeze! We had a great time on the bus!
Fantastic service from Dolly's Party Bus, as they were very accommodating in the services necessary to transport our bridal party and our guests to and from venue site. They are great professionals and were easy to book and coordinate with.
We had a hummer limo for wedding party and guest shuttle between our wedding site and hotel. Dolly's was great to work with, the hummer limo was awesome, and our guests enjoyed the service. The driver did a great job with getting people safely to and from the wedding!
We rented the party bus for 2 hours between our ceremony and reception. The driving was very accommodating with our requests to go to different locations for photos. The bus was in great condition, very clean, and comfortable for our group of about 30 people.
They were there when we needed them and went where we asked! We also were going to use them for transporting our guests from the ceremony to reception but our venue changed two days before. They were great and worked with us!
Everything went smoothly. They picked us up on time, took us wherever we told the driver to go, and dropped us off on time. Helped make the party fun! Definitely recommend using them.
Dolly's Party Bus was clean, on time, easy going, very nice, and a great value! I couldn't have asked for more from this vendor. My only complaint is that they didn't have a limo that would fit 16 people, but that is our fault for having such a large wedding party. Compared to other limo services in my area, Dolly's was by far the cheapest AND you got the most out of it. For only 350$ I got 2 hours of driving, free champagne, and a free drink for the bride and groom at the bar we stopped at in between the ceremony and reception. I loved my experience.
On time! We had a great time on the party bus! The driver was great and also gave my groom and I money for our first drink! Very good service, had a great time!
We used their party bus as a shuttle from our hotel to the rehearsal dinner on a continuous loop for about 5 hours. Good pricing and the driver was early and was very accommodating for all our guests.
Only issue we had was they sent us the wrong bus because the one we ordered had air out. The bus they sent us was a lot smaller and barely fit the everyone on. Which can be frustrating stressful right after your wedding when your not expecting it. Especially when the bus pulls in and it's the wrong one.
Perfect size for my 16 people wedding party. Gave us a bottle of champagne too! Convenient for Waterloo/Cedar Falls weddings!
We used Dolly's for my Bachelorette Party and Wedding Day. Both times their buses were cleaned and large enough to accommodate our large wedding party!
They were great to work with over the phone and the driver arrived on time at the park. It was a great size for our wedding party. The sound system on the bus was the only negative part. It just didn't sound very good when the music was turned up.
