ther the DJ couldn’t read the crowd and played the wrong type of songs, there was zero energy behind the mic, or the transitions were so sloppy that the dance floor emptied out. I was determined that our wedding would be different, and thanks to DJ Don Woodbury, it absolutely was. I cannot emphasize enough how many guests raved about DJ Don—not just during the reception, but for days afterward. It’s been a week since our wedding, and I’m still getting texts from friends and family saying how much they loved the dance floor and that it was the most unforgettable wedding they’ve ever attended. Working with Don was incredible from start to finish. Months before the big day, he scheduled a formal Zoom call to get a true sense of our vision, our vibe, our musical tastes, and the type of atmosphere we wanted for the night. He also provided us with a shared Google Doc filled with thoughtful questions, including key details like which artists or songs we absolutely wanted to avoid. That level of preparation gave us so much confidence. Our musical preferences are quite different—my partner is all about EDM and house, while I lean heavily toward hip hop and R&B. Despite those differences, Don was able to blend and transition between genres seamlessly, creating a soundtrack that felt both personal and electric. At one point, we had the entire party belting out “Pink Pony Club,” followed by a flawless drop into another beat that had everyone jumping up and down. The energy in the room was unmatched. By far, 10/10. Don isn’t one of those so-called “wedding DJs” who just hit play on a Spotify playlist and cover it up with glow sticks. He’s the real deal—an artist, a master of reading the crowd, and what I can only describe as a musical Yoda. If you want your wedding to be unforgettable and your dance floor alive all night, DJ Don Woodbury is the one.

DO NOT cut corners with a DJ because they are your MC and keep everything flowing, and Don couldn’t have been better. He had an amazing sound system (one for our ceremony site and one for the dinner/reception), he had wireless microphones for our ceremony to keep it looking clean, and I surprised my husband with a recording of me singing the song for our first dance and Don helped make it flow smoothly. Along with the evens of the day, Don brought the music and we had a full dance floor the entire evening. It was like being at a professional party with all of our favorite people! My husband and I couldn’t recommend DJ Don enough. You will remember your even forever. Thank you, Don, for one of the most memorable days of our lives!

and they were all unique remixes. We eagerly looked to see if he did weddings. I was stunned when he told me that he doesn't have an official end time. The package we agreed on was 7 hrs, but he let us know that he is HAPPY to and PLANS to stay after for hourly fees. My husband and I got to lots of festivals and raves, so the dancing portion of the night was very important to us. We ended up having him from 4 pm - 3 am... the only thing that stopped us from going longer was that we ran out of propane outside and it was cold. He otherwise has performed to sunrise for people before and will keep going as long as people want. Literally worth every penny. He is the standard rate of any other DJ, but I felt like he genuinely cared about making this an event we'd never forget. He played all the songs we requested in lots of really cool remixes. It definitely was not your standard wedding music, we were dancing and felt like we were going out. I can't express enough how grateful I am we found him. We are excited and eager to find another event we can hire him in the future. Would recommend to anyone. He is a true professional and knows how to party. I will also recognize that I did not realize the heat in the tent was helping him much and he was freezing cold and still played. Def would have changed that if I could... but was amazed he just kept going. DJ Don, thank you again for making our wedding perfect.

Don was very communicative and helpful. He met with us several times to go through a detailed interview plan for the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. A week before my wedding, I got anxious about my music choices and Don met with me for an hour and half last minute meeting to review everything and make changes. He was also very helpful with figuring out logistics for the silent disco and connecting us to a rental company. Everyone loved his music and energy and he was definitely a top reason why our wedding was so amazing!!! If you want a communicative vendor who will keep your guests dancing all night, hire Don asap!
