The windows all the way around made for a beautiful view all night. Can’t say enough good things about the Kress!

It was the first one that we visited, and within moments of arriving knew that we found our spot. From that moment through till our wedding earlier this month, we were in pretty consistent communication with the venue, making sure that every detail of our vision was understood. No matter what we requested or inquired about, Alex Cole and Alysha Pudio were ready to help. They were always quick to respond and willing to help in ensuring that our wedding would be every bit as perfect as we were hoping. Alex was even there throughout the entirety of our special day, going above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met all the way through the very end, and she did it all with a smile. Alex even made an impact on our guests, as a number of them commented on how kind and helpful she was throughout the night. only is it an absolutely stunning venue with a lake view, it has a romantic fireplace, beautiful wrap-around balcony, and it's a chic library. This is really a unique gem that your guests will love. The customer service is amazing. Jess was like our wedding planner, helping us answer our many questions and accommodating our requests. You can tell that the staff really care about their clients. It's not just a privately owned venue that is looking to take your money, the staff at Kress really work with you to ensure your event is memorable and beautiful. Plus, the money you spend here supports the Village of Egg Harbor library and the community of Egg Harbor. I can go on and on about how amazing Jess was during the planning process, designing our table setup, making recommendations, ensuring everything was taken care of, and responding quickly to our many questions. We hired a day of wedding coordinator who wasn't very helpful, but we truly believe it was because of Jess' planning beforehand that the event was a success. Alysha was also so helpful on our wedding day. Our guests had so much fun, and it was my family's (the bride) introduction to Wisconsin, and they absolutely loved the location and scenery. The bar staff was willing to make us custom drinks from my culture and handled issues we didn't even know about (with missing ingredients we were supposed to provide), but the Kress staff stepped in and ordered what was needed. I can't thank Kress enough for making our day an absolute dream! They are a flexible, caring, organized venue that will make your day even better than your dreams.

iancée Emily, back in 2018, saw an ad for a new venue in a bridal mag and tore out the page for future reference. When we were in Door County later that year, on a whim decided to take a peek. It was listed as a community center and library on Google. We drove in and from that moment, the charm, architectural design aesthetics and interactions with Jess the coordinator led to a magical event. The room surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows/doors provided vistas of Egg Harbor (Lake Michigan) that were unparalleled. Working with Jess to reserve, then dial in our vendors was invaluable since she knew everyone in that small town. The selections we made were 100% spot on for our tastes and performed marvelously. One of the stand outs was Parador, run by Larry Majewski. Every time we visit Door County even thru Covid, we were always able to sample their Spanish style cuisine, literally has become one of our favorite family things to do. Thanks to Jess, the wedding and everything Kress helped to make it a magical event.

exceptionally type-a bride who planned during a pandemic from over 2000 miles away. The communication was excellent, advice stellar, and the day went off without a hitch with their help. The other great part is how open the venue is - no restrictions on caterers like other venues may have. I would highly recommend the Kress to any bride looking to get married in Door County.

o see the space the weeks and months leading up. She was amazing. As was the space. Our photos are BEAUTIFUL and the sunset was perfect. My only recommendation is to not have too big of a wedding there. We were a little crammed with 112 people but that's probably also because I was picky about my table layout. I loved having our wedding there. Highly recommend.
