A little late in writing this review, since I got married there in July of 2019 and it is Jan. 2022. Chalk it up to Covid putting this one on the back burner. Where to start?! My fiancée Emily, back in 2018, saw an ad for a new venue in a brida...

l mag and tore out the page for future reference. When we were in Door County later that year, on a whim decided to take a peek. It was listed as a community center and library on Google. We drove in and from that moment, the charm, architectural design aesthetics and interactions with Jess the coordinator led to a magical event. The room surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows/doors provided vistas of Egg Harbor (Lake Michigan) that were unparalleled. Working with Jess to reserve, then dial in our vendors was invaluable since she knew everyone in that small town. The selections we made were 100% spot on for our tastes and performed marvelously. One of the stand outs was Parador, run by Larry Majewski. Every time we visit Door County even thru Covid, we were always able to sample their Spanish style cuisine, literally has become one of our favorite family things to do. Thanks to Jess, the wedding and everything Kress helped to make it a magical event.

ver 2000 miles away. The communication was excellent, advice stellar, and the day went off without a hitch with their help. The other great part is how open the venue is - no restrictions on caterers like other venues may have. I would highly recommend the Kress to any bride looking to get married in Door County.

Beautiful venue in a beautiful setting. The reception was absolutely perfect and they were very easy to work with. Rented everything through them which made it very easy, convenient, and stress free.

Honestly, Jess was the best ever. She was so responsive in planning, hands-on with moving chairs, she made herself available for the number of times different family members went to see the space the weeks and months leading up. She was amazing...

. As was the space. Our photos are BEAUTIFUL and the sunset was perfect. My only recommendation is to not have too big of a wedding there. We were a little crammed with 112 people but that's probably also because I was picky about my table layout. I loved having our wedding there. Highly recommend.
