My (now) wife and I were very intentional in our choice of Donna as our wedding dance instructor. We were recommended to her studio and then quickly learned why she has the reputat...

You’ll have a great time, and you’ll look great dancing too!
You’ll find time with Donna passing too quickly, because you’re learning well and with specific goals. You’ll also find that she is expert in how she works with your choices of music and/or helps you choose appropriate timing and dance style. Donna will assess your dance experience and aptitude and immediately begin helping you put together choreography that will make you look as relaxed and confident as possible on your wedding day. You’ll experience her wisdom in how she’ll coach you through the details such as how you enter the dance floor and how to make the transition to a final kiss.
You’re going to look forward to your lessons with Donna because you will find her so accessible and easy to communicate and work with. She is a consummate professional and a fun person to be around. Absolutely no “shaming” about technique and memorization, but rather positive encouragement and reinforcement.
Donna has been a professional Ballroom Dancer and continues to be a professional Teacher, Coach and National Ballroom DanceSport competition judge throughout the U.S. Her depth of experience is so clearly evident in how she guides you through each element of the dance(s) she is creating with you. You’ll consider it privilege to dance with her, as we did, and continue to today.
Yes Donna did it for me. Even though I didn't know I had this specific dream of dancing at my wedding, Donna made me realize how wonderful of an experience it could be and it was! ...
And I thank her for it. My husband and I were completely inexperienced when we decided to give it a try with Dean Martin's Sway for our wedding. Donna's studio was near where we lived at the time and it worked out great. We initially signed up for 5 lessons and ended up doubling the number of lessons because we wanted to keep going until right before our wedding. It paid off. All of our guests loved our first dance and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It was so much fun. I remember being scared and nervous in the beginning but Donna made me feel comfortable and confident. She was very patient with us. We just loved the way she taught us the steps and in a pleasant way, practicing our dance made us feel closer and took our minds off of all the wedding related stress. We would recommend Donna to any couple looking for a fun, relaxing experience before their wedding as well as an awesome and memorable first dance at their wedding. It has been a pleasure working with her and we wish her the best!
My husband and I were told we were to do a parents' dance at her wedding in 9 months. Neither of us had danced a step since high school. After looking for an instructor who would...
give private lessons to two people with left feet, she fit the bill. Donna graciously fit our lessons into her schedule (which met our wild timeline), made learning really fun and we now consider her a friend as well as an instructor. Our Wedding Rumba went wonderfully and we had so much fun. My husband and I continue regularly dancing with Donna. I recommend Donna for all of the above reasons and hope you will enjoy her as much as we do!
My husband and I met through ballroom dance. So, naturally, we needed to perform a fabulous first dance at our wedding. Through our ballroom dance network we learned of Donna Edels...
tein. She choreographed a beautiful Waltz for us, coaching us through learning the steps, the rhythm, the connections, the shapes – even musicality. Her guidance, encouragement, skill and choreography made an often stressful process so fun and easy. We continue to work with her today – five years later.
If you’re looking for a kind, encouraging and skilled ballroom dance instructor, I highly recommend Donna. You’ll have a wonderful experience.

tting together a dance that makes the couple look great on the dance floor. She pays attention to the little details that can add some flair. She is positive and very fun to work with. Even if you think you can't dance, don't like to dance, you'll learn to dance and enjoy it. Highly recommend her lessons.
