Donna and her team are absolutely AMAZING! I've been a bridesmaid a few times with her at the helm, and when it came time for me to walk down the aisle, the choice was obvious to book her for hair and makeup for myself and my girls.
She and her top hair person came to my apartment for my trial (and even did a trial for my now mother in law) - so no need to go to a salon. They were able to work with my clip in extensions, and make sure I got everything I wanted in my (I will admit) meticulous requests.
I could not be happier with how my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding day, but also, they were able to get through NINE of my close girl friends for either hair or makeup plus both hair and makeup for my MOH, MOB, AND MOG and I! Just two women! So speedy and everyone looked so good!!
Payment via venmo was so easy and they were prompt and so sweet! I would absolutely hire them again for any other events!!

We hired Donna & her team for our March 25, 2023 wedding and she was beyond incredible.
Donna is incredibly attentive, professional, and of course, insanely talented. Her and her team were able to do hair and makeup for 13 people in under three hours with everyone coming out looking flawless, and she made the process so easy - from consultation to trials to booking.
I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, and my bridesmaids were raving about how their hair and makeup turned out - that they didn't feel "overdone" at all, and felt absolutely gorgeous. Donna is amazing - BOOK HER!!!
I hired Donna to do my wedding. Donna did my makeup and Jen did my hair. They went above and beyond for me! They were so professional and so sweet. They were on time and everyone just loved there hair and makeup.

After reviewing and speaking to other makeup’s artists I chose Donna Lance for my wedding makeup. I am SO happy with my decision. I never felt so beautiful. I hardly wear makeup and was requesting a natural look which Donna nailed during our trial. I booked Donna for for myself and 8 of my bridesmaids, our makeup lasted all night and some of my girls even wore the eye makeup the next day to our brush. Donna was sweet, kind , and most importantly listened to exactly what I wanted for my wedding. I would recommend Donna to all future brides.
I got married on 9/10/22 and hired Donna Lance and her team for hair and makeup for 10 girls. After my experience, I would not recommend them to any bride.
I had my trial in November 2021 and signed a contract with Donna in February 2022. At the time of contract signing, Donna was given the number of clients and the venue location.
Our final agreed upon arrival time was 9am, which was confirmed in July 2022.
The afternoon before our wedding I was informed that they would be an hour late, with a planned arrival time of 10:00-10:15am due to transportation issues. I was assured that we would still be finished by 2pm. I reminded her of our agreed upon 9am start time and she agreed to send her first hair stylist to the location at 9am although Donna and the second stylist, Jen, would be late.
The first stylist Amy was on time and ready to start hair at 9am, but we soon realized something was wrong when she began to doze off while styling the girl’s hair and took multiple breaks and trips to the bathroom, which made much more sense when one of my bridesmaids saw her pouring vodka into her travel coffee mug. At this point Amy was visibly intoxicated and incapable of doing her job. There was no direct communication to me from Donna or Jen that morning, and they did not arrive and start their services at the venue until approximately 11am (one hour after their already late ETA, two hours after the contracted start time).
Donna ended up having to call an Uber/Lyft for Amy and sending her home because she was unable to do her job.
Once they arrived, Donna and her second stylist Jen were professional and quick. They did a great job on everyone’s hair and makeup and everyone was finished by 2pm despite having to redo every style that Amy had attempted earlier. Donna claimed she was late because the “venue was further away than she thought”, which is an unacceptable excuse in todays age of technology considering that she was aware of the location of the venue from the signing of our contract last year.
At 2pm, after our hair and makeup was complete, Donna calculated the total of the services with no breakdown of cost. I did not question the price and promptly paid her the amount she requested because at this point I just wanted them to leave so that we could continue on with our day. I tipped her and Jen despite the events of the day because all of the girls did look great and Donna did finish on time as promised. She then “apologized for causing me stress” and left.
I received a text message from Donna the next morning apologizing for being late and informing me that Amy had been removed from the company. She asked for photos of the girls hair and makeup styles and refunded me $100 for the trouble, less than 4% of what I paid including tip. Needless to say, I did not answer her message.
I would not want any other bride to have to experience this level of unprofessionalism. While Donna and Jen did a great job once they arrived, they created an unnecessarily stressful environment for the morning. As a wedding vendor, Donna has no respect for her clients time and was difficult to deal with throughout the entire process (she was late to my trial and rushed through the process then as well). If you are flexible with your timeline, you may not have a problem, otherwise I would look elsewhere for a more reliable team.
Donna and Christine were amazing! They did my sister's wedding so I knew I was in good hands, but I am so happy with how it turned out. We had a trial and they worked with me to have me look exactly how I want - even going lighter on the eyeliner since I don't wear a lot of makeup. Day of, they were so much fun and put on some fun music to lighten the mood. They were chatting with us all day and really made it a fun time instead of a nervous/anxious time. They did me, my sister, and my mom, and all 3 of us had different desires and Donna and Christine made sure we were all happy with our looks. I was able to be fully confident in how I looked on my wedding day thanks to them!
Donna Lance and her team were AMAZING!! I felt like a princess on my special day. The hair and makeup for myself and bridesmaids was flawless & lasted all night!! I had a great experience. Would highly recommend to all future brides!!
Donna is the absolute best makeup artist. She is super talented and always does my makeup exactly how I want it to look. She is reliable, fast and an all around talent! Wouldn’t use anybody else!
I can’t say enough good things! My wedding was changed due to covid and I had to find new hair and makeup people last minute. Donna was great! She set up trials so quickly and I was able to book them right away! She did a beautiful job on makeup for myself and my bridesmaids, and even gave a little to my daughters to make them feel special! Jen did a fantastic job on our hair as well, even my 6 year old who can’t sit still! The conversation was relaxed and comfortable, and made a stressful morning much more fun! I highly recommend working with them!
Donna and her team are exceptional at hair and makeup! I had 8 bridesmaids and two mothers that were all extremely happy with their looks. Donna and her team had great awareness for timing. We were able to finish early so a few girls could have touch ups done on their hair. One of the hair stylists waited until after photos with the girls and until I was in my dress so she could help pit on my veil. She even showed the girls how they would take it out. Also, throughout the tone before the wedding Donna was just a text away. She ALWAYS answered me no matter how silly my questions.
All in all, I highly recommend Donna and her team as stylists for everyone’s dream wedding!
Donna is such an amazing makeup artist! She did my makeup for wedding and she did above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and did an amazing makeup job! She is also a personal friend and she’s the sweetest :) I 100% recommended her for weddings but also for other events!
Donna did hair and make up for my wedding this past weekend. She was professional, on time and kept to her schedule. She had two girls come to help with hair. We actually finished an hour early AND everyone got touch ups before she left. She was fun to work with, the conversation was great and it was like we were all hanging out with friends. I cannot recommend Donna enough!

I can't say enough about Donna Lance! Donna is by far the most talented make up artist! Being able to handle multiple personalities during my daughter's wedding (including my own) was beyond helpful! Every wedding is stressful and Donna heled ease that stress with her easy going and fun personality!!! Her laughter is infectious and made the day spectacular.

Donna has been doing my makeup for years, for everything from special occasions to photo shoots. She consistently delivers the perfect, natural face that I am comfortable with but I also know that I can trust her to take me out of my comfort zone for a more dramatic look if the occasion calls for it. Donna is equally as pleasant and personable as she is talented. She will always put you at ease and treats you like a friend. As I said, 5 stars simply are not enough. None better than Donna Lance.

Donna and her team were fantastic for my August wedding. They were super fast and did an awesome job for me, my bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law. They were also super accommodating to our individual styles.
I had my makeup done by Donna this past Friday for my daughter's wedding. She did such an amazing job and I felt fabulous the whole day! The makeup lasted the ENTIRE day and evening and my skin looked flawless. I was actually happy with every picture I took that day which, for me, is very rare lol. The wedding was planned very quickly and I had actually forgotten to book my makeup until 4 days before the wedding. Donna happily accommodated me and got my makeup done quickly on the big day to accommodate my hectic schedule. I will ALWAYS book Donna for my big events! Thank YOU Donna!!
They are amazing!! Donna, the owner who does makeup, and Jen, her hair stylist, made my wedding day so beautiful and chill with their super calm, easy going demeanors. They did an incredible job, running smoothly and on time, for the 8 women in my bridal party and 2 flower girls. They were SO great with the kids! Prices are great too. We got compliments all night about how beautiful hair and makeup looked, and it really stayed all together all day and though the night. Could not recommend them any higher. Donna was recommended to me by a coworker and I was not let down! Donna came to my house for a trial on both my mother and I and it was stunning. Her and Jen, who did our hair, are great at what they do. They did 5 of my bridesmaids hair and make up and were able to enhance all of their beauty while still having them look like them! Donna and Jen are quick with their work and worked on 5 bridesmaids, 1 mother of the bride, and the bride in about two hours! I would highly recommend using them, and can see myself using them again!
Donna completed my make up for my brothers wedding and I was so incredibly impressed that I wanted to book her for mine as well. She was booked so she immediately helped schedule her team for my wedding and they absolutely crushed it! I cannot say enough good things about Gloria (makeup) and Christine (hair). I felt like the most beautiful bride in the world after these two worked their magic on me! My bridesmaids all loved their look and we stayed perfectly on time. Definitely would recommend Donna or her team to anyone!

If you want the natural look, Donna Lance is your girl, makeup artist. Her background and experience is impressive, her knowledge is extensive, she is a professional, and truly a delight. She asks you what make up you usually wear, asks you for pinterest images of girls make up you like, makes you a better version of self both at the trial and the day of, and always checks in to see if like or not or if want less or more. The day of the wedding she came early, brought tunes, straws so we didn’t ruin our lip gloss, and touch up bag., My sister found Donna online for her wedding. Donna did such a beautiful job for my sis, mom, and sis’s bridemaids at my sis’s wedding that I asked Donna if she would do mine to which she said yes and I was so lucky, grateful, and thankful for. I would work with her again and would recommend her to anyone I know. If only she could pop out of my makeup bag every day ;).
We got married on 9/21/18. Donna’s team arrived early, looked professional, and were super organized. The whole team made us ladies feel amazing and look beautiful. Our makeup and hair held up great all day too! Prices are totally reasonable and so worth it. My wedding was the 3rd wedding I’ve been involved in who used this team and their service was excellent as usual!

Donna and Jen are absolutely amazing! They did all of the hair and makeup for my wedding day. This included me, my mom, mother-in-law, grandma, and my nine bridesmaids (so, a lot of people). Donna also did makeup for my rehearsal dinner for me, my mom, and my sister. I cannot recommend Donna and Jen, and their colleagues Gisella and Christine, highly enough! They are beyond punctual (as in, early, which really contributed to making my wedding less stressful) and professional, and they have wonderfully positive attitudes. They managed the morning effectively, so everything ran smoothly and everyone was finished with hair and makeup earlier than we planned and we could get pictures started. This was no small feat given how many people were getting both hair and makeup done. They are also really fun to hang out with, so we all had a blast getting ready. In addition, Donna completely handled and smoothed over an awkward situation with a guest who had not been invited to get ready with me but showed up anyway, which I was grateful for. And on top of it all—Donna, Jen, Gisella, and Christine are incredibly talented at hair and makeup. Every time I look at wedding day pictures, I am so happy with how Donna and Jen did my hair and makeup as well as all of the ladies in the wedding, who looked so gorgeous and were really happy with their looks too. All of our hair and makeup lasted the entire day. My bun was still in perfect shape at the after party! And I loved the makeup that Donna did for me, my mom, and my sister for our rehearsal dinner too. Plus, I have received compliments from other guests who told me that, of all the weddings they have been to, they thought our hair and makeup were the most beautiful. I am beyond grateful to Donna, Jen, and their team, and I absolutely and without hesitation recommend them! I wish that they could do my hair and makeup every day!
Donna and Jen were so wonderful with my and my bridesmaid's hair and makeup. My original makeup artist kept canceling on my trial, so I needed to find someone else much closer to my wedding date than I wanted, but thankfully Donna was available to take care of everything!! They were both so sweet and skillful, we were actually done an hour early! Everyone's hair & makeup lasted throughout the day & night with no touch ups necessary! Would highly recommend and use again for other special events!
I cannot say enough about Donna Lance as a person and her talent as a makeup artist! I had the pleasure of having Donna prep my mom, 3 girls, a 6 year old flower girl and me for my wedding on September 15, 2018. Donna was nothing short of AMAZING!! She is extremely talented, friendly, funny, caring, and takes pride her work. My makeup held all night and did not need to be retouched, she was fun to work with and extremely professional. I can't wait to have another event and have her prep me again.
I used Donna Lance for hair and makeup for myself, bridal party and moms. There were 5 girls, 2 moms and 2 flower girls and everyone was done within a few hours. They came to our hotel suite and set up shop quickly. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, hair and makeup staying in place all day. I had a trial ahead of time which I highly recommend so you do not need to make any decisions on the big day. I was so pleased with my hair and make up, they really listened to what I wanted. It was also extremely convenient that they travel and we did not have to go to a salon. They are calm, easy going but very professional. Recommend!

Amazing!!! I am forever grateful to Donna and Jen from Donna Lance Hair and Makeup! From the very beginning, Donna was extremely kind, responsive, and honest. She made me feel so comfortable even though I booked her service somewhat last minute. Jen came to my house for a hair trial and did a beautiful style. We had so much fun chatting and getting to know one another. Even though I loved the style, I changed my mind a few weeks later and Donna and Jen were more than accomodating to help me set up another trial. For this trial, I visited Jen's beautiful hair studio, Antoine's Salon in Ridgewood. We had margaritas and spinach dip and did a re-trial which turned out more than amazing. The day of the wedding Donna and Jen came to my apartment and were more than amazing despite the tiny apartment and tons of ladies! They gave each bridesmaid a beautiful style unique to everyone's individual personality. They were flexible and open-minded and were a fun addition to the wedding day! It wouldn't have been the same without them. I had multiple comments from guests on just how beautiful all the hair and makeup specifically was. I would honestly recommend these women to anyone who needs hair and makeup for any event. They are truly genuine people who you can trust to do an amazing job. Donna was awesome from my trial to the day of the wedding doing our makeup. I do not wear a ton of makeup usually so she gave me the perfect made up natural look. We also used Donna's associate Christine to do our hair and she did an awesome job as well. They were also very affordable compared to other weddings I have been in the metro area.
I absolutely loved the way I looked after Donna did my makeup for a wedding I was in. I had to call her back to doll me up again for an event I had, and I will absolutely being in touch with her again. She's lovely! She made me feel comfortable and knew exactly what would look good on me. Thank you for your wonderful services!!!
I cannot stop raving about Donna and her team! Not only are they highly professional, they are incredibly skilled in their area of expertise. With Donna's help, I looked/felt so beautiful on my special day. And to top it all off, Donna's personality absolutely beams! While she did my makeup she was friendly and kind. She made me feel so comfortable- it was such a pleasant experience. I will not trust anyone else. The service she provides is nothing short of amazing.
If I could, I'd give 3 1/2 stars here. This rating is for both Donna and Jen (for hair). They were great to work with, they were on time and professional, and I loved my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids/family hair and makeup. The negatives--one of my eyelashes came loose after the ceremony and during pictures! I forgot to bring my own glue, but luckily my cousin had some so I tried my best to reapply it before the reception. My hair--beautiful, but by the time I got to the reception most of the curl was gone which was quite upsetting now that I see the videos and pictures. I really liked them and would use them for other events possibly, but not as a bride on my wedding day I don't think based on the negatives listed above. It was a hot day, but my usual hair stylist saw my pictures and said that my hair should have held up better than it did and that not enough spray was used.

I had my makeup done by Donna as a Maid of Honor in my friend's wedding 4 years ago, and she did a fabulous job then. So when I was looking to book a makeup artist for my own wedding this summer, I knew I wanted Donna. She was great, my girls and I looked wonderful, and my makeup stayed all night!
Donna made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! She was so flexible during my trial and my wedding day. She even stayed late so that my photographer could get those "final touches" pictures. All of my bridesmaids LOVED their make up! I felt like she was one of the girls- really enjoyed having her with us on my wedding day. If you are considering booking her- just do it and thank me later! :)
Donna provided the makeup and hair for my daughter's wedding this Sunday. They were punctual, professional and delivered exactly what was asked for. The girls, especially the bride looked amazing, and the makeup lasted all day and night, despite the 92 degree heat. Donna is truly an "artist". Highly recommended!
As a singer, I've had many people do my makeup. This by far has been one of the most pleasurable experiences. Donna Lance's passion for what she does exudes unto the face she touches. This lady is professional, punctual, works extremely fast yet seamlessly and does it all while making the experience completely personal and intimate. She took the time to first find out what look I was looking for, gave suggestions, tips for my makeup and skin and understood scientifically how to bring out the best in my skin. The end result, I looked amazing and felt more confident as I walked out in front of the crowd. Priceless! I highly recommend her.
I just had my trial with Donna for my bridal makeup (Jen for hair) and the results were absolutely amazing! Donna and Jen were extremely professional, polite, friendly, and really delivered a stunning look. They both really listened to what I wanted and were happy to make adjustments to ensure I was comfortable. AMAZING! I can't wait to see how it all ties in with my wedding dress on the big day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
