e showing us a few dresses. I liked how relaxed and informal the whole process felt. As I described the things I liked and disliked, Donna was attentive and intuitive. We picked a few dresses to try on, and she offered helpful ideas about how we could customize to make them just what I wanted. I am incredibly indecisive, so I was still teetering in a decision, but Donna’s enthusiasm and confidence made me confident in my choice. Not only that, but I’m happy to support a small, woman-owned business instead of a bigger boutique or chain. I’m looking forward to the rest of this process with someone so positive and kind.

Let me rewind a bit to my first interaction with Donna which was, “Hi Donna, I need a wedding dress, I’m getting married in one month in front of 12 people, and I’m 5 months pregnant, can you help me!?” Well, she sure did. The dress I fell in love with was only the second one I tried on that she picked for me, and I didn’t even need to see anymore. The dress was everything I loved and completely flattered my changing body due to pregnancy. Her seamstress Emma was fantastic in her alterations. As our wedding day approached I realized that I didn’t have anyone to help tie up my Wedding dress as it was a corset back. Due to Covid we could not have a bridal party and our family wasn’t set to arrive until 4:00pm, well after our photos were to be taken by our photographer. Donna actually came to my bridal suite to help me into my dress and even put my veil and jewelry on me! Because of this I was Comfortably secure in my dress all day and I looked great for photos. If you are looking for the perfect wedding dress for your wedding, stop looking and go see Donna. Her dresses are one of a kind, well made, classic and timeless.

ress from Anomalie didn't go as planned. Donna really listened to me and understood exactly what my vision was. I love that all of her dresses are one of a kind and ONLY made for her boutique. And for real, this warm, beautiful woman is SO passionate about her work and made me feel confident during a very intimate process where alot of insecurities can real their ugly heads. The other thing I love about this place is it's custom-oriented, which is perfect for a bride who's taste is a little off the beaten path! Shes going add 3D flowers to my dress and can also add sleeves. 😍 The biggest thing I appreciated is how respectful she was of my budget. She didnt bring out any dress I couldn't afford and not once did I feel pressured! Truly couldnt ask for a better experience.

I tried on about 5-6 dresses the first time I was there and narrowed it down to 2. This was before I had a venue and a date picked out. A few months later Donna called to let me know she had 6 more dresses come in, four of which she thought I'd like. I scheduled another appointment, which she was very patient and flexible about because I had to change the time and date. I tried on 4 more dresses and then one from the first time. Donna will accessorize however you'd like and is open for ideas on what to add to dresses to make it custom to you(sleeves, belts, sparkles, etc). I thought I'd want to try a "traditional" bridal store, but realized I'd never find a dress as uniquely beautiful as a Donna Morello gown.

t left me with a bad taste in my mouth. However, immediately after arriving to Donna Morello’s store I felt so excited! Donna greeted me right away and sat down with my family and I to get to know me a bit more. One thing I really liked was that she really got to know my style and what I was looking for. Most shoppes just keep pulling random dresses for you, but Donna really listened to my wishes and understood my style so well! She was so sweet and helpful. I found the dress of my dreams within the first few minutes of trying on dresses! I’m so glad that a friend recommended this shoppe! I would recommend her to friends, family and even strangers!

Donna as “The Wedding Whisperer.” My sisters wore the first dress Donna picked out for them to try. Today was finally my turn to dress and the first dress Donna picked out is the dress I’ll be wearing on my wedding day. Donna is by far the best in the business!

My fiancé's mom said to give it one more try and go see Donna (where my fiancé's 3 sisters and all his cousins had gotten their dresses - it was just a bit of a drive from where we live now so I hadn't gone yet) I walked into Donna's and was met with kindness and the coziest most beautiful shop I had been to yet. Donna sat with me and talked to me and made me feel heard and important. She told me to relax and let her pull some dresses out - then encouraged me to veto anything she held up that I didn't think was for me. Once we chose 3 dresses, we walked back into the biggest most beautiful room to try on! The other places I had been were the tiny little changing rooms where you awkwardly stood half naked while a stranger tried to get you into a dress that barely fit in the space itself! Donna's was big and roomy and warm. She helped me into the dress while encouraging me to hold on to her for balance and keeping light, friendly conversation so I felt comfortable. The first dress I put on felt ALMOST perfect - the it had everything I wanted I just needed the skirt to be a little fuller. Donna whizzed around the shop pulling things out and holding things up and clearly understanding exactly what I meant and finding a way to get me there. We ended up making the dress be everything I envisioned - cue the waterworks from all of us!! My dress is everything I could ask for and the experience was even more. If you want to feel understood and cared for, do yourself the favor of giving Donna a call! It's worth the drive if you're like me and are a little farther away. She respects you and your budget and clearly genuinely cares for her brides. HIGHLY recommend!

ect for me, I was feeling discouraged going into the appointment at Donna Morello Wedding Gowns. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how passionate Donna is about helping you find the perfect wedding gown for your taste and budget and ultimately something that makes you feel great. During my appointment with Donna, I felt relaxed and actually had a fun time trying on dresses, which is not something I could say about all of the other bridal salons I had visited. Donna found me the perfect dress for my personality and I am so excited to be working with her in the months leading up to my wedding. I couldn't recommend Donna more highly.

time to get to know me and my preferences. She showed me some gowns and we narrowed it down to three options. I wasn't totally sure of them "on the hanger", but as I tried them on, EVERY SINGLE ONE was absolutely perfect. They were all completely unique - not something any other bride would have. The alterations that needed to be done on my gown were quite difficult and Donna/Carmela did an absolutely perfect job. Donna also helped me find the perfect veil and clutch.

I didn't have much detail to give her about what I was looking for, since I really had no idea, but the dresses she chose for me to try on were beautiful and unique. I had been to several other shops and had not seen anything like these! Besides the beautiful selection of dresses (which caters to every need and budget), Donna made me feel welcomed and valued. She sat down with me and asked about my wedding, my fiance, how we met, etc. She seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. She followed up a few days later to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. I would highly recommend her to everyone looking for a wedding gown. For her, it isn't just a job to sell you a dress. She has a real passion and interest in her clients, and the fact that she remembered my cousin years later speaks volumes. Donna made me feel great about my body and how I looked in the dresses. She's truly one in a million!

des and she knew exactly what I was looking for/what I didn't like. She went above and beyond for my perfect gown, head piece, and bracelet that all went perfectly together! My dress needed to be completely taken out from both sides undoing and resewing the seems to make sure it fit PERFECTLY, and of course it did! The seamstress and her worked wonders!! We were required to pay in full immediately and my mom mailed Donna a check for $4500, without us being allowed to take any photos of the dress. She solicited my former review immediately and sent me an email request to complete it before I had even left the store or seen what the dress looked like. Lo and behold, I found there were actually several pictures of the dress on Donna’s various social media accounts and I realized the dress was not the color I thought it was at all (long story short: not white at all; actually grey) I knew immediately I couldn’t wear the dress and tried for a week to schedule an appointment with Donna while she continued to put me off. When I finally got in, I saw the dress again and knew I had made a horrible mistake and was devastated at the thought of wearing that dress to my wedding. Despite her reputation for “caring for her brides,” Donna would not work with me in ANY way. Essentially, my mom paid $4500 for the privilege of me trying the dress on. My mom offered to pay Donna’s cost on the dress, give her her profits and let her re-sell the dress, or simply just lose 50% of the money as a non-refundable deposit. We also offered to pay any fee she felt reasonable for “restocking” the dress, since it was technically off the floor for about 3 weeks, even though it never left her shop for a second and is still there now. It cost Donna nothing for me to try the dress on for 15 minutes. I even asked about exchanging the dress for a less expensive one (letting Donna keep the same check and increasing her profits on the sale) and she said she would charge us MORE for an exchange. I was stunned. I left devastated, my mom spent our entire dress budget on this dress and now we are out $4500 and have no dress. The purchase was tantamount to an off-the-rack one because there was nothing custom made for me, nothing altered for me, and nothing ordered for me. I’m fully aware that we signed a sales agreement, but having no one to answer to in her shop, Donna had complete control to do SOMETHING to try to work with us a little bit, since we were committed to compensating her to the fullest extent and willing to buy a less expensive dress from her for the same price. She would not waiver the slightest at her chance to get that dress off her hands and seemed completely unmoved that I would have no dress 5 months before my wedding. I so so regret shopping here and would advise against it.

egin. I had gone to one other dress store, and found a few dresses that I liked, but nothing that felt perfect. Donna was warm and welcoming to my family and I. Even though one of my sisters could only be present through Facetime. I showed her a few pictures of dresses I thought looked nice and she took it from there. Every dress she showed me was beautiful, but one caught my eye right away. I had never seen a dress like that before. And sure enough, that dress ended up being THE one. Donna hit it right on the mark. A feeling I never thought I would have about a dress, was becoming a reality. I can't thank Donna enough for that.

that she designs all of the dresses and they can't be found anywhere else. The dress I found was absolutely amazing, like nothing I had seen before, and was really 1-2 seasons ahead of the trends. I would highly recommend Donna to anyone. She provides personalized service and truly knows her stuff. She is a lot of fun and I believe she can make anyone comfortable. I ordered my dress in September for my June wedding. I planned to attend my first fitting in March, but due to an illness that resulted in weight fluctuations, I wanted to push the fitting back as late as possible. I had my first fitting less than 4 weeks before my wedding and my second/final fitting 4 days before my wedding. I did not have an easy dress to alter, but Donna and her seamstress Carmella made sure that everything was perfect. She was so flexible during a difficult time, and I really think that is what sets her apart. A larger salon would not have been able to make these accommodations, but it was no big deal to Donna. Finally, the alteration fees were included in the price of the dress. I really appreciated this as it took away the "unknown" of what the alterations might actually cost. I highly recommend that anyone give Donna a try. The service is impeccable, and even if you don't choose a gown there, I know you will have a great experience.

She was so easy to talk to and unfazed by my broad use of adjectives to describe my desired look like "fitted but comfy". At the appointment she made me feel right at home and listened to my requests. With each gown I tried on, we got closer to finding the perfect combination of fit and flair, comfort, volume, and elegance. I'm so excited to continue working with Donna on upcoming alterations and fittings. I found my gown with Donna and would highly recommend her to other bride-to-be's. She has such unique beautiful gowns and her expertise in this business is evident. I had a good feeling about Donna from the first phone call when she excitedly said, "Let's find you a gown!" And we sure did.

about what I was looking for, what type of dress I envisioned, what I liked and didn't like, my budget -- it seriously got me so excited to get this party started! This was only magnified the minute I stepped into Donna's boutique in New Hope, PA. The second I walked through the door, my sister (and maid of honor) mouthed to me, "I LOVE her," and I immediately agreed! From the get-go, Donna made my group (7 of us in all!) feel extremely comfortable. We sat around and sipped champagne while she went over the process and how her store works. Basically, she deals with different designers to bring in dresses you wouldn't normally find in a standard bridal boutique -- which was EXACTLY what I was looking for! If you want something different, go see Donna! She has a great selection of dresses that you're not going to see in any other store you go to, which made finding my dream dress even more exciting. Okay, so let's talk dress. When I say that my entire crew LITERALLY gasped when Donna showed us the back of my dress, I am not exaggerating. I had seen many, many dresses that day, and none of them elicited a reaction that was even close! I had been saying all along that I wanted a dress that was maybe simple in the front but had one element of awesome drama -- like a cool back. This dress was it. The minute I saw it, I KNEW that was it. I had tried on some gorgeous gowns, but this was the one that I had pictured myself in all along. My excitement only grew after I put on the dress, loved it even more, and found out that I would not be ordering it in my size. The dress I was wearing that day was THE actual dress I will be wearing on my wedding day. Because it's one-of-a-kind, it will need some alterations, but Donna assured me that we can get it exactly where it needs to be for my big day. It's going to be absolutely perfect. Of course, I'm sure you're all thinking, "Yeah, the dress might be perfect, but there's no way it's in your budget." Well, my friends, Donna strikes again! When we had a second alone, I nervously asked her how much it was, and she immediately replied "We'll get it in your budget." And she did! I absolutely adore how conscious she is about how much a bride is willing to spend, and how she'll do anything she can to accommodate all budgets. I ended up going back the next day with my mom to officially buy the dress, and Donna actually opened the shop specially to meet with us again. That's another cool thing -- she will only meet with one bride at a time. We actually had a potential customer walk in during my initial appointment, and Donna very graciously let them know that she was not available at the moment but would love to work with them in the future. Okay, I know this review is pretty much a novel at this point, but here's the bottom line: If you're looking to buy your dress from a place that has your very best interest in mind, Donna is your gal. From start to finish, I felt so comfortable with her, and I knew that she would do everything she could to make sure I walked out of there with the dress of my dreams. She listened closely to my style requests and pulled dresses accordingly. We then shifted to the spacious, well lit dressing room and I began trying on her selections. When I found the almost perfect dress Donna knew it needed one accessory to complete the ensemble. It was then the ONE! Her attention to detail made my experience truly amazing and I can't wait to go back for my fitting. From her professionalism, to cool music, to the fragrances, Donna Morello's boutique was super cool.

100% knew I was going to find my dress with her. We chit chatted on the phone for 20-30 mins and then made the date. She is so flexible with scheduling and understanding your wants. When I went in she already had a few ideas from what I told her.. And they were all beautiful, but she picked my dress before I even walked in the door. I tried it on last and it was perfect!!! I was in shock at how perfect it was! As for Donna herself, She works with you and helps you understand wedding dresses. Where as other salons just want to get a sale.
