We cannot thank Rob Cross enough for capturing our wedding so beautifully. Our original wedding date was scheduled for April 2020, but we had to unfortunately postpone for several months due to COVID-19. Not only did Rob video our new celebration date in September, but offered to video our original wedding date of only 10 people on our April date. He shows up on time, is full of energy, and made our reception an absolute blast. I cannot recommend Rob enough! He was amazing during wedding prep, throughout the wedding, and the whole evening on our big day. We look forward to watching our video over and over as we relive it due to Rob capturing all of the special moments and more. Thank you so incredibly much for your extremely hard work, dedication, and flexibility to us and our family over these past 7 years. We look forward to working together again in the future!

First of all let me say that Rob Cross is so wonderful to work with! He is incredibly genuine, patient and kind, amongst other great qualities. Leading up to our reception, my husband and I lived in another state but Rob still took the time to get to know us and what was important to capture at our reception, even with the distance. This was such a special time in our lives so we really wanted the best videographer to capture everything for us. I highly recommend working with Rob/Dont Get Married Without Me for your wedding or reception like we had. It was an intimate gathering of friends and family and he really captured so many fantastic moments about that night. Seeing my family, friends and husband so happy is something I will always love to look back on and remember. I am so grateful for our perfect little keepsake and I have absolutely no regrets on this decision.

The first vendor I had to confirm for my wedding date was Rob! He was the videographer for my sister’s wedding, and I have watched her video countless times, so I knew he had to be there to capture my wedding day too! His videography style is timeless, and he captures all the details and special moments from the morning of the wedding to send off. It is the type of video that you’ll want to watch again and again - it will make you laugh and cry. Rob is so talented, and how he edits/complies the footage is amazing. It’s evident that he truly loves what he does! I don’t enjoy being in front of a camera, but Rob made it easy. There is nothing I can say about Rob Cross to really tell you how wonderful he is. I was referred to him by a customer of mine and I told my then fiance that we Need to Meet him!!! By the end of lunch, my fiance was all in. From that moment we felt like Rob was part of our family. We got the Barefeet production and wedding package and it was absolutely the best. Rob did an AMAZING job as our videographer!! He sat down with us beforehand to get to know us. He even checked up on us in the weeks leading up to the wedding! He didn’t just video the wedding, he took the time to talk to our guests and have real conversations with them. I was on the hunt for a video guy that’s laid back, talkative and creative. We found that video guy in Rob! He did an amazing job, our video reminds me of Americans funniest home videos from the 90s and that’s what we wanted!! He interviewed our guest, asked my husband and I the same questions so he could piece them together in a magical way! During the father bride dance he has my dad talking about me and what I was like when I was young, then a overlay of photos of us since I was a baby till now, the tears!! It was so sweet. I love our video and I can’t wait to share it will our children one day. Rob is very understanding, the months up to my wedding I lost my job/business and he was very understanding and not pushy about making a payment, he even called me up and we had mini therapy session together since I was so distraught. Rob was so amazing and did everything right! He made sure to develop a relationship with my new husband and I before our big day and even reached out to my mom. Rob was so easy to talk to and share ideas with and was quick to return messages. I told him what was important to me to have on the video and he made sure to capture it perfectly. On the day of our wedding, it was like the camera wasn’t even there, which helped with those who were camera shy. The wait for the actual video is a few months but I can assure you that it was worth every second and every penny. Rob did an amazing job capturing our special day! I give Rob 10 stars!!!!!! Rob is not just a vender, he is genuinely a man who cares. He was able to capture every single detail of the wedding from the dress to the reason I wore boots (there are a lot more details, but it would make this review REALLY long). He made me feel special during the craziness of the day. It was so wonderful to see the video because it all went by so fast. He was able to capture the love, the fun and the excitement!!!!

Rob is THE BEST! He is so sweet, kind, and funny and truly cares about getting to know you and your spouse, and even your family to capture the most special moments on your special day. He also made a tribute to our parents video "Through all the Years," for us to show at our rehearsal dinner and were blown away at how perfect it was. My family did wedding videography for many years, long ago (they helped start the Houston Wedding Association and the Bridal Extravaganza) They have long since left the business, but because of them, I had in my mind what I expected from a wedding videographer...Rob far exceeded those expectations. He was the BEST vendor I secured for our day, and worth every single penny. He is such a delight to work with (it really feels like he's family!) He checked on us multiple times throughout our wedding planning process, and not a single time to request a payment, always to call and check in, see how we were all doing, to make sure we were okay (we were planning when Hurricane Harvey hit) and to just talk and catch up. As if that wasn't great enough, we received frequent updates and always felt in constant contact with Rob--our questions/emails were always answered promptly, we got phone calls and texts with production updates, even got sneak peeks posted on facebook for us to view. We felt loved, appreciated, and taken care of the WHOLE process. I swear, I didn't think our experience could get any better--then we received our video. Let me tell you, he captured EVERYTHING. All those little moments you think no one notices, song choices, every single one of our guests ended up on our video at some point. He caught so much, I am not convinced he doesn't have a twin. I can not say enough about how incredible Rob is. He is such a caring and genuine man. He would email and check up on me before the wedding which I appreciated. Even jokingly offered to make me a dress when I was stressing that mine wasn't done with alterations a couple of days before the wedding. I did not meet him in person before the wedding though. However, the day of- it was like we had been family members forever. He was able to make me laugh and relax even before I went down the aisle . Rob is absolutely amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better videographer for our wedding! Not only is he so sweet and great to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process, he made our wedding feel like a fairytale. To be honest, I was worried that I might feel awkward in front of a camera, but I was actually completely unaware of when he was recording- and so were the guests. Wow. Where do we even begin?!!! Rob Cross completely outdid himself!!! Our wedding video is more than we ever could have imagined or dreamed of. And then he focused on our most special dance... There are no words of gratitude to express just how much this hour long video means to my husband and I. Rob is probably the best wedding videographer in Houston/DFW/Austin. We we're so lucky to run into him at a wedding show in Houston. I will never regret having him. He first, gets to know you. Who you are, your fiance, wedding details... things that a friend wants to know. And that's what makes him so special. Other videographers get your name, come and go on the day of. But, Rob and his services are unique. He designs your video for WHO you really are and in the end, you find a friend, not just a videographer. Now, let me tell you, my wedding was partly a disaster. My original outdoor venue flooded 2 days before the ceremony and we were scrambling to plan everything from Houston for the wedding in Austin. After the wedding was over, I was so sure that my wedding was such a mess that there was no way that he could've caputured anything but me running around and stressed out and the drama that I dealt with. When we received our wedding video, I was in tears. It was beautiful. He captured the most special moments, even in the midst of the crazy, and made them shine. I felt like I was about to stand in my wedding again and I was falling in love with my husband all over again. He protrayed my wedding, really, the way I wanted it. He is so talented. You can tell that he took care and time into the actual video and it was almost like you designed it for yourself. It's hard to explain! Do your future self a favor and get him. He was the videographer for one of my best friend’s as well as my sister’s weddings and I knew that I had to have him for my own! Booking Rob for my daughter's wedding video was one of the best decisions we made. He captured all of the details of the wedding and reception beautifully!! The final product contained lots of sweet and funny mini-interviews with people that really showed the love and happiness we were all feeling that day. Which I really appreciated since I was booking and sending in deposits trying to get every thing in order. When we received the finished video and watched it for the first time I saw my husbands face just light up. As I moved between tears and laughter we both just melted and watched it over and over. Rob was just a member of our combined families that day. He arrived amidst the chaos of the hotel suite while the girls were getting ready. He captured the stories, relationships and happiness of the day. Even me in my bathrobe! The ceremony seemed ethereal. I saw it from a completely different perspective. He merged his video and our photographers still photos in such a way that it told an amazing story. The reception was the culmination of all of our hard work. It all came together and was a blur. Rob was able to show us everything that we didn't see. He even had video of our delicious food as well as the other activities our guests enjoyed. It was a great party and he hung in there with us until the very last drop of champagne! Rob, you will be first on my list of vendors to call when our other daughter and son get married! Or any other event that should be memorialized!

When we settled on our venue, we were impressed that most of the venues we looked at recommended Rob and his team for our videography. I was surprised his name was so popular, then I saw his work. It's so different than anyone's out there. I highly recommend that you shop other videographers then look at Rob's work. Completely different. I see now why he's so loved. That was evident not only in his work my mom and I watched one night til midnight, but also it shows in who he is. Thank you Rob for being by far our best investment made in my wedding day. Your talent is extreme. I see now that I would have hugely regretted not having you there for us. Especially since we've lost my grandmother since then and now we have her walking and talking and, well, thank you. Love you!

First and foremost i'd like to say how absolutely amazing and talented Rob and his crew are! If I could give him a 10+ star rating I would! He truly made our wedding a day we will never forget and for that we are forever grateful. My husband James and I were married at Agave Real on January 30, 2016. Rob come highly recommended by the venue. Actually.. he came highly recommended by pretty much every venue we looked at prior to Agave. We first met Rob and his beautiful wife Franca at an Agave Estates open house. Prior to the open house I wasn't even sure we were going to higher a Videographer due to cost, but OH MY GOSH are we glad we did!!! Rob and Franca were simply wonderful and such a pleasure to talk to. After just a few minutes of talking with them it was evident that this was something Rob truly loved and was passionate about . He genuinely cares about the families he works with. He immediately made us feel like family and that was it for me! Rob called me several times prior to the wedding to see how I was holding up and how all of the wedding plans were coming along. He even called my mom to help calm her nerves!! He showed up several hours before the wedding and spent most of his time jumping back and forth between the Grooms Quarters and Bridal Suit to capture all of the pre-wedding excitement. He was engaged with the entire bridal party and family. He made us laugh and kept everything lively, heartfelt, and at some points downright hilarious!! He did the same at the reception and the video of the ceremony was so beautiful! We were also lucky enough to have his son Alex as our Photographer and the two of them together was amazing! We were so impressed with Rob that we suggested him to my brother who got married this May. While Rob wasn't able to do the Videography for their wedding due to booking, they were SO happy with the crew he scheduled for them. Basically, you can't go wrong with Rob or any of his team! If you are still on the fence or looking for the right person to capture one of the most important days of your life, Rob and his crew are it!! Trust me, it will be one of the best decisions you make. Our video was absolutely beautiful and the quality was fantastic. It made us laugh and cry. We couldn't be happier. A big hug and thank you to Rob from the bottom of our hearts!! We appreciate it more than you know.

Rob was incredible to work with. I am so pleased with our video. By far the best investment I ever made. Having the video is better than pictures because it catches every emotion. I also recommend booking his son Alex Cross as the photographer. I lucked out and was able to book them together. Great Job from both of them.

Oh where to begin! Uncle Rob was certainly one of the best additions to our wedding, and a friend I feel we gained for life. It's true a picture is worth thousand words, but a video and the memories it captures, is really something priceless. He puts his heart and soul into his work, and it definitely shines through! My husband and I laughed, cried, and held hands as we watched our video. Remembering one of the most important days of our lives was nothing short of a beautiful memory brought to life with Rob's work. We lost an Uncle and a Grandmother recently, and being able to see them dancing the night away was truly something amazing. If you aren't sure about a videographer, from the bottom of my heart, I'm telling you to just do it! You won't regret it, skip the flowers if you have to! And certainly Don't get Married without Uncle Rob!

Rob was absolutely amazing!! From the first phone call I knew I chose the right videographer. He is so personable, friendly, and truly wants to get to know you. The video so exceeded my expectations. My husband and I renewed our vows after 20 years and he put our original pictures from our wedding in the video. It was absolutely beautiful...still cry every time I watch it. Everyone who sees the video says it is the most beautiful video and wedding they have ever seen. He was such a joy to work with! Just loved him!! Absolutely a must that you use this wonderful man. Don't look any further....

I may sound like a broken record here, but I was another one of those brides who weren't sure about having a videographer. Then on two separate occasions I heard someone talking about Rob. I checked out his work and, SOLD! I had no idea someone like him was out there. From my first phone conversation with him I felt like he was family. How refreshing! It's just so hard to find someone so personal! One of his cameramen was there to do the actually filming, Rob did all the production work and WOW, the final product just blew my husband and me away! Thank you Rob! Thank you for a lifetime treasure.

Definitely Don't Get Married without Rob! I was on the fence about getting a videographer for my daughter's wedding. However, after meeting Rob at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza and watching the Barefoot video I was sold. He is a class act and truly becomes a part of the family. His work is amazing. The wedding video is a wonderful keepsake and when watching it, I realized just how much I missed during that special event. I felt the love and was able to relive the wedding; naturally, I cried. Rob, completely blew us away with his work. When we first started talking out and planning our wedding, we never thought about having a videographer. When we started asking wedding suggestions from family and friends, we started looking into it. Everyone had nothing but great things and experiences from him. Rob, reached out and I remember that very day, our first phone call together felt like I had already known him for years. It was a connection with a stranger that is very rare to find these days. He was happy and funny and so excited to share this important event in Chris's and my life. He went out of his way to accommodate us throughout the entire journey. Chris and I had hard schedules at work and Rob squeezed us in any way that he could. From the first video that we filmed, through the follow up phone calls to the very BIG DAY, Rob took care of us like family. We couldn't have asked for a better guy to be with us. Everyone loved him at our wedding. His commitment to making this special for us, is something that is hard to find and we were very lucky to have him. I would a 100% recommend Rob to anyone and everyone for any event in their lives. One thing I can say is that my husband and I would have regretted not having our special day recorded, being able to see it on video has brought back so many memories and emotions. It is like going back in time and seeing it all happen one more time. His company name " Don't Get Married without Me" is true. We were so grateful that we got married with Rob!!!

Don't get married without Rob! Seriously! He was such a joy to work with. He is always happy and really wants your day to be special, as it should. Trying to find wedding vendors is a long process, but Rob made it so easy and FUN! He really has a way to make everyone feel like they are just carrying on a normal conversation when he is recording. I am in love with my wedding video and I can't imagine having anyone else other than Rob capture my special day.

You truly don't want to get married without him! Rob is THE BEST at everything! He made my big day better and every time we met with him or spoke with him was an absolute joy. He was the one thing I didn't have to worry about ever and what makes him so amazing is that he cares so much about your day and what he does that the end result is a magical video that I get to watch and share forever. I still cry with pure joy, love and happiness when I watch and am barely making it through this review without tears because I just can't possibly thank Rob enough for all he did.
