When you book your wedding reception with us you have the use of our event space; The Event Space at 5550 for free for your wedding rehearsal dinner! Luxury on a budget! We start at $13.00 per person with amazing service and a beautifully staged buffet https://www.doorstepdiner.com/ Always fresh, never frozen, we don't even own a freezer! When you order we source your ingredients locally the day before your event to ensure the highest quality you deserve the best on your special day. We can create anything you'd like.. our website is just a starting place to have a conversation about what will make your meal perfect. mpletely gone by the time we showed up, so I guess that says it all! For the dinner, we got the roast beef, chicken and pesto, mac and cheese, and roasted potatoes. Everything was delicious! And the service was fantastic. As soon as me and my husband sat down at the head table, we were surprised to be immediately handed 2 plates of food. They had given us one of everything on the menu, eliminating the need for us to go up and dish our food and allowing us the chance to actually get to eat at our own reception! At the end of the service, one of the staff came to ask me what we wanted to do with the leftover food (we had a lot of last minute no shows). Aside from taking the food home with us and/or giving leftovers to guests, we were also given the choice of donating the food to a local soup kitchen (which they would handle). Since we were going to be leaving for our honeymoon in a few days, and there was A LOT of food leftover, we decided to donate the food. I mention this because it was an extra perk at no extra cost to us and it took away the chore of storing and distributing food while helping the community. Everyone was great to work with and I would gladly book them again for a future event!

Food was AMAZING. Our guests complimented a lot about it being the best food they've had at the wedding! It tasted fresh and they were great with communication!

Doorstep Diner catered our annual church event in February in (Lincoln, NE ~ 100 attendees ~ buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres). I had nothing but rave reviews. (We will use them agai...
n next year)! They were so good that I used them for an event with my sorority in March and had more of the same - totally different menu, delivered a hot buffet (Ashland, NE ~ 25 attendees) and everyone was impressed. HIGHLY recommend!

Doorstep Diner was hands down one of the best decision we made for our wedding. The process was simple and we were guided every step of the way. There was so much variety to choose...
from as far as food options, they also offered customization if we wanted to do something different. The service was wonderful at our wedding, and all our guest RAVED about the food! They even went above and beyond with a few separate meals for our friends with allergies and who were Vegan, this really warmed our hearts as well as those guests! As the bride and groom we were also served our meals without having to go through the buffet line, this was a nice and sweet added gesture they did to make the night wonderful. Doorstep really does go above and beyond to make their clients feel like royalty on their big days.

ng the way. They had an amazing variety of entrees to choose from, as well as accommodated to our guests who were either allergic to certain things or were children who had a separate dish. The food tasted incredible! We got so many compliments on the flavor and quality of the food and it was one of our favorite things about our wedding. They went above and beyond by serving all guests, which is incredible for the buffet dinner we had, cut our cake for us, and provided extra servers to tend to water and tea glasses. We are so glad we chose Doorstep Diner for our wedding!

Our wedding was BIG and Doorstep Diner rose to the challenge of not only feeding 400 people, but feeding them DELICIOUS food at a price that could beat nearly everyone in the area....
From start to finish, Jeff and Laurie were positive, easy to communicate with, and very flexible. We chose the creamy pesto chicken, mashed potatoes and glazed carrots for our meal, although we also LOVED sampling the teriyaki beef as well. We also chose salmon & cucumber skewers, Andouille and Shrimp Skewers and fruit skewers for our appetizer hour. From set up to tear down, everything went smoothly at our venue and the amount of food prepared was nearly perfect. People continually complimented the food throughout the evening, and we are still hearing about how great it was a month later! All in all, if you care about having top-notch food at your wedding and caterers you can trust, you should get in touch with Doorstep Diner.

I’d try doing it myself shows the quality of people they are. When I contacted them again with a modest budget they helped me find wonderful options. The food was great and our guests were very happy. I recommend their pulled pork with huli huli Hawaiian sauce. I can’t thank them enough! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
