Made my not so ordinary wedding dreams come true. She added elegance to my black wedding. I was going for a very specific theme, and she NAILED IT! I can't say enough!

Doris and her team went above and beyond for our wedding! We met with her to tell her what we wanted and then met a few weeks later so she could show us a mock up of the bouquets. A few months later I decided I wanted to make a few changes and not only was she happy to accommodate but she put everything together beautifully!

My wedding flowers were truly the most gorgeous floral arrangements I have ever seen. Doris completely brought my vision to life, even after I pivoted from one color palette to another. Her knowledge of florals and what would work best for the time of year and what colors would complement the bridesmaid dresses was so impressive. All of the bouquets and corsages were a dream come true, as well as the flowers that decorated the venue and tables. Doris was a pleasure to work with and a true professional. Everything was delivered on time like clockwork. I would absolutely use Doris the Florist for all future floral needs and will 100% recommend her to all of my engaged friends in the area.

Doris is fabulous to work with. After reaching out to multiple florists, I walked out of my appointment feeling relief and happiness. She listened to everything I wanted and walked me through the best way to maximize my budget without making me feel like I couldn’t get what I wanted because of the budget. When I saw the sample she prepared for my wedding day, I couldn’t believe how perfect she captured what I wanted. Doris has the most amazing bouquets, she does not believe in skimping on the bouquet to save money and she was absolutely right. The bouquets made my photos that much better. Besides the amazing flowers, she and her team are just the nicest people to work with! She is the best and I’m so grateful I found her!

Doris is truly a magician. She was incredible and so easy to work with. I came in with a very general vision of a Christmas wedding, and she executed it beyond all expectation. Everything she did was so elegant and beautiful, and all of our guests could not stop complimenting her work. I would absolutely recommend to anyone!!

Doris was AMAZING! Her and her entire team were incredible to work with. Every single guest commented on how beautiful our flowers were. Even when certain flowers we had picked were unavailable at the time of our wedding, Doris worked to find replacements that were even more beautiful. I cannot recommend her enough. Flawless.

Doris and her team were absolutely phenomenal! We didn't have much of a vision in terms of what we wanted for flowers and centerpieces but she provided a lot of guidance and was very honest/realistic with us about what we did and didn't need for our venue (which saved us a lot in the long run). Doris is very creative and helpful and we are so glad we used her and her team for our wedding. She was so pleasant to work with and all of our flowers came out BEAUTIFUL! I already asked my husband to go back to have her remake my wedding bouquet as a christmas gift haha! If you're looking for a florist, Doris is your girl! Highly recommend!

We contacted Doris the Florist and spoke with Laurie who helped us with our floral centerpieces. Laurie was so very helpful in explaining the simple yet very elegant centerpieces that they would create for us. Beautiful very fresh white hydrangeas highlighted with perfect greens in a cylindrical vase… It was beautiful, fully presented and balanced, elegant and perfect…. the flowers totally enhanced our wonderful party!!!

We love Doris!! We visited a few other florists before we met with Doris, but once we met with her we knew we wanted to go with her. While other florists just gave us a total quote, Doris broke down what each thing cost so you actually know where your money is going. She will work with your budget! She does a mock up sample before you even put money down, which the other florists I visited did not offer until after a deposit. She understood my vision perfectly and brought it to life! My flowers were beautiful and she did an arch on the gazebo of my venue which was stunning. So many of my guests took flowers home from the centerpieces because they were so stunning! Highly recommend working with Doris!

I LOVE DORIS THE FLORIST!! I met with Doris a few times because I was so indecisive about what I wanted. Each time she met with me she made me feel so comfortable and not pressured at all. She really cares about the people she is working with and wants to do anything to make sure you are happy. She was so accommodating and helpful. She is hilarious and makes the process so stress free. All My flowers from the bouquets, the arbor, the centerpieces came out better than I had envisioned. Her work is impeccable and she makes sure that you are happy no matter what. Using Doris the florist was one of the best things about getting married!

Amazing! Doris was so easy to work with from the first inquiry to the detailed planning, she and her team truly brough my floral vision to life. Every conversation made us really feel like she was personally invested in OUR day. At our first meeting she prepared centerpiece and bouquet sample options based on the example photos I provided, we made adjustments while there in person, and saw a second sample months later after further adjusting. Doris worked with our budget, and numerous changes to the budget, and we had the utmost confidence in the products to be delivered - and we were not disappointed! Highly recommend!

There are not enough good things to say about how amazing Doris is. We had the most beautiful flowers and centerpieces at our wedding because of Doris. She is an absolute gem to work with- she took every idea I had and turned it into something beyond any expectation I had. Doris the Florist was 10/10 incredible. From our first consultation to the day of, working with Doris was so easy and seamless. She respected our budget, as well as our vision, but also provided such creative additions to make the flowers absolutely perfect. So many of our guests complimented the vibrant colors of the flowers. Although we had minimal flowers within our centerpieces, how Doris displayed them really brought the whole theme together. I highly recommend Doris to anyone. We will definitely be using her for future events!

Doris was such a pleasure to work with. She was so attentive to every detail and made sure our floral arrangements were exactly what we wanted. To be honest, I was blown away on my wedding day when I actually saw everything all set up. The arrangements were spectacular and way beyond my expectations. She is incredible at what she does! Doris was our favorite vendor and the best choice we made about our wedding. She made our planning and day so seamless, including bearing with us as we had 3 wedding dates due to COVID. Our flowers were beautiful and we got so many compliments on every single floral detail. I could not recommend Doris highly enough. She is easy to communicate with and goes out of her way to ensure your wedding will be gorgeous and care-free from a floral perspective. We would 100% use her again and already have picked up flowers from her! My bouquet was still perfect and not wilted at all 10 full days after the wedding.

Doris the florist is the best! From the first meeting with Doris to the wedding day has been great. Doris listened, asked questions and took my vision and created beautiful samples. The wedding day bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, altar décor and cake flowers were gorgeous! We received so many compliments. They also did lovely table arrangements for the bridal shower - they lasted a full 2 weeks. Doris is so personable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Doris and her team.

Doris was so delightful to work with and her work was amazing! The centerpieces and bouquets were absolutely stunning and exactly the look I wanted. I wound up preserving my bouquet bc I loved it so much. She also helped me with the budget, which was so appreciated because I was so unorganized! She was so patient and professional and her staff too. They were friendly and made the day go by seamlessly. I would highly recommend her!! Doris the Florist was the best florist and person we could ever have imagined using for our wedding! From the first second we met her, we loved her energy, ideas and enthusiasm. My wife and I used Doris for our wedding last week. From day one Doris was great. We visited a few florists in the area and Doris was the only the one who took time to listen to my wife's vision of what she wanted for the wedding. All I can say is incredible! I worked with Doris months leading up to my wedding and she really made my vision come to life. She was so accommodating and helpful. She gave me advice on what was worth spending more or less on and worked within my budget. I cannot say enough good things about Doris and her staff!

Wow is all I could say!! Doris and her staff were amazing!! My centerpieces were breathtaking. When we went to Doris we scheduled a sample meeting she blew my husband and I away. We knew she was the right florist to trust with our wedding. Never did I feel a worry. Also she use to work for flowers by Brian and opened her own shop that was also a plus for us. Shes willing to work with your budget. Going into a wedding you imagine all these images from pinterest all the high centerpieces and the crystal etc. for your wedding but that all cost aloooottttttt of money. Within budget I got pinterest looking flowers it was a mixture of highs and lows. Honestly to all the future brides Doris is the way to go she does not disappoint.

I have no words. I just knew "what I wanted" I never knew if it made sense and I always second guessed myself. Doris always, always reassured me, always made sure everything was cohesive and went together. She told me no on something I wanted. She told me she understood what I wanted but it would be underwhelming, I thought I wanted simply. WELLLLLLL, let me tell you I literally cried for the first time on my wedding day when the bouquets showed up. CHILLS throughout my body and tears in my eyes. The colors, the mixture of textures, the cohesive "messiness". I don't want to sound biased but I truly believe I have never seen flowers I have thought were more beautiful. It did not stop there at all. I told her I like simply, rustic, messy and all I care about was my place card table. MY PLACECARD table was the first thing I saw when I walked in and again chills. The hallway to the reception, a fairytale.... My dais table, I was a in an enchanted forest. I had a vision in my head that I could not explain out loud. Doris knew what I was thinking and she recreated a thousand times more beautiful. When I thought simply was all I needed I was wrong. Flowers truly are what make the entire vision come together and I never realized it until it was my wedding day. What is even more amazing is that when the day was over, and I got pictures from a few friends from their phones..... OHHHH MYYY GOSH! They were just as stunning in pictures. She had told me that in our meeting but I never would have been able to understand until I saw it in my pictures. This truly is an area you can not DIY for your wedding ladies. I thought I could DIY a few things because its fun but your bouquets are everything! Your theme is everything and can only be truly depicted with your floral and décor. And I mean it when I say had the décor been different the day would have as well. I can not thank Doris and her team enough. Do yourself a favor and head over to her right now!

A friend recommended Doris to me after she used her services for her wedding, and I am so glad I went to Doris for my wedding on July 6, 2018! From the moment I met Doris the Florist herself, I felt so at ease; Doris has such a warm, friendly manner, but she was also confident in her ability to make our wedding dreams come true...and that she did! We are so happy we put our trust in Doris. She really does just have such an artistic vision, and from just a few photos and color schemes that I showed her, created such a beautiful design for us, better than our wildest dreams. Doris did our pew decorations at the church, boutonnieres/corsages, the most beautiful bridesmaids bouquets, and the most gorgeous bridal bouquet! She also designed our centerpieces; I loved her ideas for a trio of Japanese orchids in long glass vases surrounded by tea lights to complement our traditional floral centerpieces. They really popped at night! Even better, all of the deliveries showed up prompt and early so that we could get them in all the photos. The colors of the bouquets complemented the mint green bridesmaids dresses so well, and she coordinated them with the bridal bouquet expertly. Her flowers made everyone's outfits pop, and made us all the more beautiful on a really special day! I can't thank Doris enough, nor can I recommend her enough, for anyone's wedding day or special event. Doris also really works with you in terms of pricing, and makes you feel really comfortable, giving you the most bang for your buck. The flowers lasted for like 2 weeks after our wedding was over! And no matter how many times I called Doris to make changes, additions, or just with worries, she put my mind at ease. Don't hesitate--go with Doris!!

My husband and I used Doris for our wedding on 11/17/17. Words can not describe how beautiful her work is. I had went for a sample day and saw what my centerpieces would look like and was blown away. I was completely blown away the day of my wedding when I saw how beautiful all of the bouquets turned out, especially mine! And I was even more blown away when I saw the chuppah and centerpieces for the room. Even the entry table and the decorated birdcage for the gifts turned out amazing! Doris the Florist was recommended to us by Bridgeview Yacht Club, and they did NOT disappoint! We initially worked with Doris – she was amazing. We had a TON of different ideas for bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces.. we were all over the place.. and she said “Tell me every idea you have, I’ll come up with something.” We did just that, left the appointment, and just prayed that she’d nail it… she did!!! Her vision was exactly what we hoped for. We ended up going in a slightly different direction with our wedding and ended up having to change the vase, but that was simply a décor change we made. When we came back for our final appointment, Doris had an emergency and we were seen by Larissa; I was nervous because of how much confidence I had in working with Doris, but Larissa was equally amazing and was able to understand all of the small changes we decided to make (also to better fit the venue choices we made). We once again had to leave with nothing but faith that it would turn out okay, which was fine at this point because at that point we so much faith in their skills. When we arrived at the venue the day of our wedding, not really knowing what to expect, I wanted to cry when I saw how beautiful everything was: the flowers, even some of my slightly strange requests, were FLAWLESS. The centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres were absolutely stunning, even the roses put on the chairs for our dads were lovely. We received compliments all night and I loved my flowers so much that I took them home to preserve them. We highly recommend booking your events here!

Doris and her team recently did my wedding florals early this month and cannot say enough nice things about them! My venue looked ABSOLUTELY stunning and I'm still in love with my bouquet! Doris truly listened to what we had to say and delivered x 10000!! My favorite part of the whole wedding process was sample day (to which she will literally mimic centerpieces and bouquets so we're able to see them live) -- she made my dreams come to life which pictures I shared and also included some samples of which she thought would work best for the venue. Low and behold I fell in love with what she pulled together for us (which was not what I originally anticipated) and we ended up utilizing her ideas vs. my own! The centerpieces were absolutely beautiful and perfectly complimented the entire space! HIGHLY recommend Doris & her team!

We were recommended to Doris from a few close friends who used her for their wedding. We honestly wanted to avoid those expensive and "name brand" florists on Long Island as we were really trying to stay around $3000-$4000 for flowers and we were able to do with Doris. She was sweet, attentive, and professional and offered us many options to accommodate our budget. She showed us gorgeous sample centerpieces, complete with the votives and floating candles. She showed me samples of flowers that would be in the bouquets. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I had a vision of purple and white, and didnt need to name specific flowers-- Doris showed me a variety and made perfect suggestions for my color scheme. She made beautiful centerpieces as well as decorative centerpieces for our main entrance and they were beyond what I even imagined. The colors were amazing and the flowers were flawless! I also had Doris decorate the cake with flowers- which were coordinated perfectly. She also made two beautiful centerpieces on columns for our outdoor ceremony and then moved them inside the reception as decor! The flowers were truly gorgeous, I got so many compliments. I'm preserving my bouquet because I didn't have the heart to watch them wilt! Doris was professional and easy to work with, and was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. Would highly recommend!

I am not a creative person, so thank goodness I had Doris! Doris is fun and so creative and wants to make your wedding both special and beautiful. All of my bouquets and centerpieces looked great, and Doris' team did a fantastic job! She had a variety of ideas and incorporated the items that I did know I wanted into the vision. On top of that, she was a pleasure to work with.

From start to finish, working with Doris was great. She was familiar with our reception hall (Bridgeview) and had a lot of great ideas that captured my not-so-descriptive vision. We used mercury glass on the centerpieces which looked amazing throughout the room. When my bouquet arrived it was not what I wanted, so I called and they had someone there in 15 minutes to fix it- it turned out perfect. Definitely recommended!

Doris is one of the nicest people I've met. She only does one wedding per day, so that she can give all of her brides her full attention. She's incredibly detail oriented and will give you the best flowers for your vision. When I went in, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but we worked together to create something even more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I would use her for everything I'd ever need flowers for...She was FANTASTIC.
