If we could give Doris and her team more than 5 stars, we would. She truly saved our wedding day.
Our original florist failed to show up for our wedding, and we found out at 1:30 PM on the day of our wedding that we would have no reception flowers at all. Our venue immediately called Doris the Florist and explained the emergency. The shop was literally about to close for the day, but instead of turning us away, they stepped in and somehow made magic happen.
With essentially no notice and using what they had available in the shop and in the fridge, the team created centerpieces for all 11 of our guest tables, two beautiful arrangements for the bars, and an arrangement for our sweetheart table, and had EVERYTHING completed and delivered to our venue before 4:30 PM.
When we walked into our reception, we honestly could not believe how beautiful everything looked. You would never, ever have known that the flowers had been put together in a matter of hours because of an emergency. They were absolutely gorgeous, fit our wedding perfectly, and completely transformed the room.
What the team at Doris the Florist did for us was so far beyond good customer service. They took what could have been one of the most upsetting parts of our wedding day and turned it into something beautiful. They had no obligation to take this on, especially at the very end of their workday, but they went completely above and beyond for two people they had never even met.
We will never forget their kindness, talent, and willingness to drop everything to help us. They truly saved the day, and we are forever grateful. If you are looking for a florist who is not only incredibly talented but also genuinely cares about people, I cannot recommend Doris the Florist enough. 10/10, a million stars. ❤️

day. We also knew our wedding was going to be wine themed and wanted to incorporate that with our flowers. I have received beautiful bouquets from Doris the Florist in the past so I reached out to them to set up a meeting to see if they could be our wedding florist. When I met with Doris I explained our theme and she was excited to help bring it to life. I went back for another appointment and they had samples of the centerpieces and the bouquets which were all breathtaking. She understood my vision and helped to bring it to life. I was so happy that I picked her as my florist!
On the day of the wedding, the flowers were nothing short of breathtaking. The bouquets were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully arranged, reflecting the color palette and theme we had chosen. The centerpieces on the tables were equally as impressive. Guests were constantly complimenting the centerpieces and how we used wine corks to tie in the wine theme.
Throughout the wedding process Doris was always available to answer any questions I had. Right before my wedding I decided to have a wedding sign with flowers around it. I reached out to Doris a few weeks before the wedding with my idea and asked for her suggestions. She made the display look beautiful.
We highly recommend Doris the Florist for any couple looking for a talented and dedicated wedding florist. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

us. Our first appointment we went over all over our inspiration pictures, Doris was able to help with her professional input to create the best vision possible. Our second appointment, was for us to go in and see a mock up of what our centerpieces and bouquets would look like. Not many florists give you the opportunity to physically see what you will be getting. That day was so special to us, that’s when it hit us! We were really getting married. She made it so easy - I told her what I was looking for and she took it from there and I didn't worry about a thing even though I typically get involved in little details. She is so enthusiastic and truly cares about her customers. She is incredibly talented and knows her stuff! Thank you so much Doris for helping to make my wedding day a dream come true!

e loves what she does and loves making people happy!! She took our vision and ran with it. We’re still getting phone calls complimenting my bridal bouquet, bridal party bouquets, centerpieces, chuppah, aisle bouquets and everywhere else we had her gorgeous arrangements. I literally cried when I walked into our venue. Blown away!! Highly recommend because she really listens and follows through on everything!! The Best!!

wife's vision of what she wanted for the wedding. She even suggested ways we can save money as opposed to trying to get us to spend more money. With that being said the flowers for the wedding turned out beautiful! I'd recommend Doris and her team to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced and friendly florist!

look completely different! I had a very specific vision in mind for my day and Doris nailed it to a T! My bouquet was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! Support your local shops if you are in the Long Beach/ Island Park bride and use Doris!

e knew she was the right florist to trust with our wedding. Never did I feel a worry. Also she use to work for flowers by Brian and opened her own shop that was also a plus for us. Shes willing to work with your budget. Going into a wedding you imagine all these images from pinterest all the high centerpieces and the crystal etc. for your wedding but that all cost aloooottttttt of money. Within budget I got pinterest looking flowers it was a mixture of highs and lows. Honestly to all the future brides Doris is the way to go she does not disappoint.
