It was recently purchased by a talented designer who is passionate about making your wedding flower process easy and stress-free. Owner Christopher Stewart has more than 17 years of experience creating breathtaking floral designs. He got his start in high school and has been perfecting his craft ever since. Christopher has an unmatched zeal for plant life and customer service. He and his team will go above and beyond to ensure you and your partner have a pleasant experience shopping with them. For your wedding, Dormont Florist offers a wide selection of bouquets, ceremony flowers, and centerpieces. The staff doesn't want you to sweat the small stuff and will take care of everything. They invite you to schedule a consultation and begin the process of making all your flower dreams come true. For a full service wedding including delivery, set-up/installation, and tear down the minimum spend is $4,000. If you are looking to spend between $1,500 and $3,000 we have options for drop off service or pick-up at our store in Dormont.

Chris and his staff were incredibly professional and provided the most beautiful florals for my October nuptials. Chris helped us design our bouquets, boutonnières and centerpieces. His service included designing the table-scapes including the candles, florals, set-up and clean-up. He was incredibly affordable for the beautiful service he provided. We had such a positive experience working with Chris and Dormont Florist! I knew I wanted a mix of white florals with greenery for our wedding at Heinz Chapel and the Wintergarden at PPG Place. I shared a few inspiration pictures at our first meeting and basically let him run with it and I was BLOWN away with how our florals turned out!!! Chris was so easy to work with and I truly never worried once about our flowers because I knew we had booked with someone who was professional and insanely talented at what they do. They were one of my favorite parts of the whole day and they truly exceeded all my expectations!

Chris, the owner is incredibly knowledgeable on his florals, on our video conference I explained a vision and Chris knew exactly how to execute it. My bouquet was everything I wanted and more. The colors were stunning! We even had a slight mishap the day of the wedding where we were missing a boutonniere, they quickly remedy the situation and gave us an additional one as well.

Hire Dormont Florist for your wedding! Chris was fantastic to work with! He responded to emails quickly and set up time to talk about my vision and budget. He and his team were also super accommodating, taking flower to two locations on the day of the wedding (the church as well as the reception). Chris and the team left me and my guests in AWE over the work that they did for our wedding. They made my dream wedding come to life and my love for peonies grow even more! Everyone that we dealt with when planning and coordinating were so professional and just easy to work with. I knew this was going to be one of my most stressful aspects to the wedding planning process, but Chris and the team put my mind at ease and made the process a breeze. There was a lot of floral expectation for my reception room and they delivered. I cannot imagine a more perfect venue to walk into all because of the florals. Chris made the big day so easy. During our first meeting, he took control & went through an entire list to make sure we didn't forget anything for the big day. He was super easy to work with whenever we needed to make adjustments, and communication was great. I sent him a pinterest link and told him to take it and run, and our space could not have been prettier. Our bouquets were stunning and I'm so thankful to them for bringing my vision to life. Dormont Florist exceeded all expectations for our wedding. Chris and his team created the most stunning arrangements for our wedding based off a few very simple details my husband and I provided. Neither of us are well versed in flowers, but we had a vague vision of what we wanted, and Chris blew us away. We received so many compliments on the arch that Chris and his team so beautifully decorated from our guests, and it was a stunning background for our formals. We are so happy to have such a great florist in our neighborhood, and will continue to use Chris and his team for all our floral needs. We can't recommend them enough!

Chris and his staff are awesome!!!! He was so helpful from day 1 with FaceTimes/google meetings to discuss my vision and give his input. I truly had no idea what I was doing and he walked me through all of the different floral items that they usually do. It took so much stress off of me. Everything was beautiful. We got our wedding flowers with Dormont Florist and we cannot recommend them enough! We worked specifically with Chris throughout the process and he was beyond helpful. Chris was responsive, always listened to what I wanted, and answered any questions that we weren’t sure of. On our wedding day my expectations were blown out of the water by how beautiful all of the flowers looked. Dormont Florist went above and beyond anything I could have imagined for our wedding day. Chris and his team are fantastic. Not only is the floral work beautiful, but Chris does everything he can to keep you in budget and create the perfect arrangements for your wedding. I cannot recommend Dormont Florist enough for any of your flower needs! We booked them for our wedding and from our first consult with Chris, I knew we made the right choice. We had selected wedding colors but did not have many specifics on what type of flower arrangements we wanted. Chris was very familiar with our venue and talked us through various styles that would suit our taste, the season, the wedding colors, and the location. Honestly, after making those initial decisions, we left the rest in Chris’s creative hands and believe me – the end result was STUNNING! Chris and his team put together the most breathtaking floral arrangements, including dinner centerpieces and bouquets. They also provided flowers for the staircase (where the vows took place), the gift/card table, the welcome sign, and a honeymoon table arrangement that we still talk about today. On top of all of the beauty and quality, Dormont Florist also had some of the most reasonable and fair pricing that we had seen. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with them.

Chris from dormont florist was excellent to work with! He had us do a zoom meeting to discuss our vision and then went above and beyond that for the actual day. We got dozens of compliments on our wedding flowers and our ceremony coordinator said it was the prettiest bridal bouquet she had ever seen. It is also a bonus that they have stands, arches, and candles to rent, so you do not have to hire a separate company. I would recommend this vendor to anyone getting married.

Chris and his team did an AMAZING job for our wedding florals. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL! I absolutely loved my all white bouquet- it was exactly what I had envisioned and the pops of color among the other florals really tied in well with the bridesmaids dresses. Chris provided us with a golden hoop with a flower arrangement on it that we used for the ceremony and then was moved to stand behind our sweetheart table for the reception. We also chose tall golden stands with flowers on top which were used as decor for the ceremony and then as the table centerpieces for the reception. I so appreciate Chris working with me to move florals around throughout the day and how he was able to bring my vision for everything to light.

He took my vision and made it into something even better than I imagined. Chris went above and beyond collaborating with EF Lighting to make our floral covered chandelier a complete DREAM. Not only did Chris make my floral dreams become a reality, he was such a pleasure to work with from day one. Not to mention, the cost was incredibly reasonable. Chris and his team from Dormont Florist were the best choice we made of all the vendors for my daughter's wedding. She had a vision of brightly colored and unique flowers and Chris delivered on exactly what she wanted. They also rented us all of the pillar candles that made the tables look fabulous and saved us lots of money. We really appreciated the time he took with us on choosing the right type of flowers and arrangements for the wedding and also created an amazing arch for the backdrop of the ceremony. Chris and the rest of the folks at Dormont Florist were wonderful. We took a while to decide on how we wanted the flowers to look and he was patient and responsive to all of our changes and concerns. He was able to take some sketches and vague descriptions that I had (not knowing much about flowers) and turn them into really beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. Two weeks after the wedding, the flowers still look fantastic and we received many compliments on them. They also made it easy and low stress by delivering the flowers and setting them up, and also taking care of removing the flowers and donating them so that other local folks (nursing homes, funeral homes, etc.) can benefit. Highly recommend Dormont Florist!

Working with Dormont Florist and Chris, for our wedding, was such a great experience!! Having very little knowledge of flowers, Chris made us feel comfortable with our options and took the time to walk through everything! On our big day, we were blown away - everything was GORGEOUS. The hairpiece was incredible (so many compliments!), and when we arrived at the reception, we were so happy to see all of the beautiful arrangements throughout the venue. Everything was perfect! We especially appreciated Chris’ flexibility, when we changed our floor plan and had to adjust our order, so close to our wedding date. I had a vision in mind, and really struggled with how to articulate it, but somehow he managed to not only meet what I was looking for, but EXCEED my expectations BY FAR!! We got so many compliments all night long on the table arrangements and bouquets! They were perfect!!!! Chris was so responsive and answered my million questions. He made the experience so wonderful. Don't use anyone else!! :)

TRUST CHRIS! From our first conversation while interviewing florists, I knew he just “got it”. We went through a list of floral needs for our wedding, and had one more meeting closer the the date. Dormont Florist was one of our absolute favorite vendors we worked with for our wedding. We technically booked them before we officially signed with our venue. After getting engaged, we knew we wanted Dormont Florist as I’d received numerous GORGEOUS bouquets from them previously. Chris made the process SO easy. He was calm and extremely extremely patient, beyond knowledgeable, and has such an eye for what looks good. Chris went as far as meeting us at the venue to look around and give us ideas on how to utilize flowers. All the flowers were beautiful and the prices are very reasonable. I can’t say enough about Chris and Dormont Florist!

Working with Chris at Dormont Florist was wonderful! He helped me bring my floral vision to life and created the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. He was extremely accommodating and had great ideas that added so much to our aesthetic. Planning a wedding during covid was difficult, but Chris made the flower aspect so enjoyable. I was absolutely blown away by Chris and team at Dormont Florist! The initial meeting with Chris was so easy and painless. He sits down with you and figure out what you’re looking for, color schemes, etc. Within a few days I had an itemized quote that clearly laid out how much everything would cost. Chris was also super flexible with changes to the original quote. Being a COVID bride, this was so helpful considering our plans were changing almost daily leading up to the wedding. When I walked into our reception venue on our wedding day, my jaw dropped. Chris went above and beyond to make the flower arrangements stunning. I can’t even remembered how many compliments we got from the guests on the flowers! I would 100% recommend Dormont Florist for any bride!!

We used Dormont Florist for our September 2020 wedding and we highly recommend them! I met with Chris to explain what we were looking for and he was able to envision what I had in mind even though I wasn’t the best at explaining it! COVID hit before our wedding and we had to change plans. Chris and the Dormont Florist team were flexible, understanding, and so responsive during our changing plans that it made the process painless. We ended up having a smaller ceremony and postponed the reception and had no problems changing the florals we needed. Everything turned out better that I could have imagined. We highly recommend them!

Our wedding flowers were beautiful! Chris was so easy to work with, and handled changing plans because of COVID with no issues! In addition to bouquets and boutonnieres, we wanted two larger arrangements to be use during our ceremony, and they turned out perfectly! Dormont Florist was the most affordable of the florists we looked at, and we were definitely not disappointed!

I was so pleased with my experience with Dormont Florist. Chris was so laid back and handled my covid changing plans with ease. He was so accommodating through it all. The flowers he made for us were beyond beautiful. I gave him essentially just colors that I wanted with a few pictures from pinterest and he exceeded my expectations! My bouquet was perfect and we received so many compliments on the center pieces. If you are in search of a florist, hire Chris! He is the best.

When I began searching for a florist, I contacted several locations that did not even call me back. Then I had a family member mention Chris from Dormont Florist. He was absolutely amazing to work with on the idea I wanted for my bouquets and centerpieces! He had so many ideas available to suggest as well and scheduling meetings with him was simply easy. When he arrived on my wedding day with the bouquets, I was just speechless! They were extremely beautiful and accomodated the decorations in my wedding so well. I can't say enough wonderful things about working with Chris, and my family has even contacted him for other florist services since and he is just always friendly and helpful. If you are looking for an easy process with an amazing outcome I would suggest going to Dormont florist!

I cannot thank Dormont Florist enough! My fiancée and I were pretty indecisive about the flowers we wanted for our wedding reception, but Chris, the owner, was SO patient and helpful and made the entire process so easy for us. He walked us through all of the options, really listened to us, took our tastes in mind, and ensured that the arrangements were exactly what we wanted. He truly made our vision come to life and ultimately exceeded our expectations for the bouquet, boutonnière, and centerpiece arrangements. Everything was absolutely stunning! Chris and his staff went above and beyond, paid attention to every single detail, and we were absolutely blown away. As were all of our guests who could not stop raving about the flowers. I can’t recommend Dormont Florist enough. The owner, Chris, took the time to talk me through the many, many options I faced as a bride be trying to pick the best arrangements for my reception. He really took the time to take me and my fiancee’s personalities and style into consideration before making a recommendation. The flowers were the most complimented item at our party by far, which is saying something because our cake vendor has won Cupcake Wars twice! The arrangements were tasteful, elegant, and absolutely gorgeous. Chris even thought to bring extra eucalyptus to make a beautiful bough for the gate! Dormont Florist is run by one of the truest professionals I have encountered in my entire wedding planning experience (and we have planned out our wedding twice LOL)- I’m so lucky to have found someone I can continue to rely on for years to come!

While planning my wedding I was so undecided on whether I wanted flowers or something more simple. Fast forward to like 2 months to the wedding I realized I wanted flowers and knew I was pretty much out of time to find someone to do them. Chris the owner of Dormont florist was a complete life saver! I went in for my consultation and i told him my vision and seconds later he was showing pictures and sharing his ideas, and he absolutely nailed my vision better than I could’ve asked for! He did my bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnières and corsages and we got so many compliments. If you need flowers for you wedding or any event I would recommend them over and over!
