I have known and worked with Chris and his staff at Dormont Florist since he became its owner. They have seen me through a book launch party, my 50th birthday celebration during COVID, and 2023, THE most difficult year of my life. Over the past two years, Chris and his staff helped me prepare to celebrate my marriage to the most incredible man. To say that Dormont Florist exceeded my expectations would be a colossal understatement.
Prior to my initial consultation, the only absolute was that I wanted to honor my late mother by incorporating vibrant wildflower colors. Beyond that, I was open to any and all suggestions. With my complete trust and faith, Chris suggested a variety of colorful floral varieties and options. Forgive my redundance, but Chris and his staff far exceeded my expectations.
On my wedding day, I was given the most brilliant and colorful bridal bouquet. My bridal party received the same vibrant colors. When I arrived at our wedding venue, every inch of it was dressed with the same brilliant colors and was lit with soft candle light. It was breathtaking and overwhelming. I can't count the number of compliments from guests and the staff at the Chartiers Room.

Owner Christopher Stewart has more than 17 years of experience creating breathtaking floral designs. He got his start in high school and has been perfecting his craft ever since. Christopher has an unmatched zeal for plant life and customer service. He and his team will go above and beyond to ensure you and your partner have a pleasant experience shopping with them.
For your wedding, Dormont Florist offers a wide selection of bouquets, ceremony flowers, and centerpieces. The staff doesn't want you to sweat the small stuff and will take care of everything. They invite you to schedule a consultation and begin the process of making all your flower dreams come true.
For a full service wedding including delivery, set-up/installation, and tear down the minimum spend is $5,000.
If you are looking to spend between $1,500 and $3,000 we have options for drop off service or pick-up at our store in Dormont.

They were able to deliver to the wedding venue, as well our separate rehearsal dinner space so we could reuse flowers and save on cost. In the final weeks, as we were dealing with last minute changes to guest count, they were extremely flexible and patient when it came to any last minute adjustments to our order. We found their pricing to be very competetive with other florists, but the amount and quality of floral arrangements makes Dormont incredibly worth it.

Chris was very familiar with our venue and talked us through various styles that would suit our taste, the season, the wedding colors, and the location. Honestly, after making those initial decisions, we left the rest in Chris’s creative hands and believe me – the end result was STUNNING! Chris and his team put together the most breathtaking floral arrangements, including dinner centerpieces and bouquets. They also provided flowers for the staircase (where the vows took place), the gift/card table, the welcome sign, and a honeymoon table arrangement that we still talk about today. On top of all of the beauty and quality, Dormont Florist also had some of the most reasonable and fair pricing that we had seen. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with them.

Chris provided us with a golden hoop with a flower arrangement on it that we used for the ceremony and then was moved to stand behind our sweetheart table for the reception. We also chose tall golden stands with flowers on top which were used as decor for the ceremony and then as the table centerpieces for the reception. I so appreciate Chris working with me to move florals around throughout the day and how he was able to bring my vision for everything to light.

We really appreciated the time he took with us on choosing the right type of flowers and arrangements for the wedding and also created an amazing arch for the backdrop of the ceremony. He was able to take some sketches and vague descriptions that I had (not knowing much about flowers) and turn them into really beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. Two weeks after the wedding, the flowers still look fantastic and we received many compliments on them. They also made it easy and low stress by delivering the flowers and setting them up, and also taking care of removing the flowers and donating them so that other local folks (nursing homes, funeral homes, etc.) can benefit. Highly recommend Dormont Florist!

took the time to walk through everything! On our big day, we were blown away - everything was GORGEOUS. The hairpiece was incredible (so many compliments!), and when we arrived at the reception, we were so happy to see all of the beautiful arrangements throughout the venue. Everything was perfect! We especially appreciated Chris’ flexibility, when we changed our floor plan and had to adjust our order, so close to our wedding date. Chris was awesome, the flowers were gorgeous, and everything was stress-free!
