Dorothy’s is the best in town. All of the designers are amazing! They really listened to me about my vision and they did better than I could have ever imagined! Her team really goes above and beyond.

I met with Dorothy to plan an arrangement for a reception we were hosting for our newly married son and daughter-in-law. This arrangement was going to be placed on pergola over a deck facing a lake in our backyard, From the beginning, Dorothy was very carefully catered to our needs, picked flowers with care, send someone out to take measurements, reviewed her ideas with me and came up with a stunning arrangement that was a super hit. We had lots of wind and some rain and she sent her team back out to make sure that the arrangement stayed in tact. I loved her perfectionism and style and her color sense and most of all professionalism.

We hired Dorothy and her team for our wedding. Well technically, we hired them twice since we had to reschedule do to COVID. Dorothy was very understanding of our rescheduling and we were very grateful for that. All in all, I do feel like they did a beautiful job with our flowers at the wedding, but there are a few reasons for the 3/5 stars. First, their invoicing is not detailed, and you do not have on paper what you will get. Instead, you have one conversation, send some pictures, and on the invoice it says a generic description like “bride bouquet, small centerpiece, etc.” If you know exactly what you want, and want to be assured that your florist will provide exactly that, this is not the florist for you. I also had slow communication with the florist I was working with, and again, there was only one conversation months before the wedding where I discussed what I wanted. When we did a final walk through, the florist had an emergency and could not attend. While I understand that emergencies happen, this was a bit stressful as I was not assured the florist would understand what we envisioned for the venue. Finally, my biggest disappointment with this vendor was my bouquet. When my wedding planner handed me my bouquet I said to her...”What is this?” I thought it was the free toss bouquet they provided. We discussed a flowing bouquet with creams and blushes and lots of greenery. I got a very small (barely larger than my bridesmaids) bouquet with roses that were mostly closed and green. My bridesmaids bouquets, on the other hand, were gorgeous. I ended up drying out one of theirs because I had no interest in saving my own. So ultimately, I would say this vendor is inconsistent. If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with a different florist, but they still did some amazing work for our wedding...just not quite what I envisioned.

My daughter's small wedding had to be held at home because of the virus. Dorothy bent over backward to make it as special and wedding-like as possible. She patiently listened to our muddled requests and made the process fun and joyful. We sent her photos of flowers my daughter liked and she hit the mark with amazing, unique flowers that none of us had ever seen! The arrangements could not have been fresher or more beautiful. I would recommend this team for any size event and will use only them in the future!

I booked Dorothy and her team for flowers for my upcoming wedding in 2021. This team has been such a pleasure to work with and truly have an eye for both detail and design! Not only this, the team is also very compassionate and truly care about their customers. My fiance and I had to make the difficult decision to delay our wedding originally scheduled in September due to COVID-19. Dorothy and her team were so understanding and very willing to work with us to reschedule. It was such a blessing to know that we did not have to worry about anything with Dorothy and her team. We were not so fortunate with one of our other vendors, and it added a lot of hardship on top of rescheduling our wedding in the midst of a pandemic. Thank you Dorothy and team! I am looking forward to the gorgeous flower arrangements in May!

Book her now!!! Dorothy was absolutely amazing and super flexible! We switched to our rain plan the night before so we were calling her literal HOURS before the wedding day to make some changes and she was able to help with everything! The flowers looks absolutely beautiful and she also gave us a lot of recommendations for similar styles if flowers we liked/wanted were out of season or more than we wanted to spend. Even the day of, they delivered the flowers, set them up, but what really got me is when they saw a few bare spots around the venue and worked with what we had to fill in those spots with extra flowers to tie everything together. They were just fabulous and I could not recommend them more!!

We used Dorothy McDaniel for the flowers for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. She worked with me to make sure that everything was elegant and beautiful, doing exactly what I asked and keeping us in budget! When I arrived to the venue an hour before the dinner, everything was already in place and prettier than I had imagined. Dorothy was easy to work with, creative and knowledgeable. I will definitely use her again!

The flowers were so beautiful, and completely surpassed my expectations. I asked for red flowers, but didn't want to end up holding a whole bunch of red roses. She somehow gave me exactly what I wanted even though I only gave her a description and two pictures to go off of. I loved the flowers so much. That being said, communication was difficult, and I was very disappointed that she did not put the right-colored ribbons on the bouquet despite asking me to give her a swatch. She also did not attach my rosary to the bouquet like she said she would.

WOW! I would highly recommend Dorothy Mcdaniel's Flower Market to any bride. She had experience working with our venue and we only met twice before the wedding - once to hire her and once more the week before the wedding to confirm. I sent her a few pictures of designs I liked and let them take it from there. We were absolutely floored by the results. I had considered doing the flowers myself, but I'm so glad I spend the extra money because there is no way I could have produced anything as beautiful as what they put together. She was very professional and easy to work with!

Our flowers were truly a favorite of our day. I loved that they have a blog which I actually picked all my flowers from prior to seeing them on my wedding day. Their attention to detail is simply impeccable. They asked me questions I didn't even think of to be sure they knew exactly what I wanted. I was blown away with my flowers and highly recommend them!

I showed Dorothy some pictures of what I liked and let her run with it. My wildflower, garden looking bouquets turned out beautiful! The mason jars hanging from shepard hooks overflowing with flowers as aisle markers were beautiful and I got so many compliments on my table decor!

The team was great and worked with me to incoporate candelabras, candles and other items I picked up into the wedding.

I have always bought my cut/arranged flowers with Dorothy McDaniel's Flower Market. They are always consistently beautiful and creative. The same held true for my wedding--very dreamy and exquisite!!
