The team at Dorothy's was extremely accommodating throughout the whole process. My fiancée and I were in town a few months ahead of the event and wanted to dine at Dorothy's to try some options before picking the menu. At dinner, they provided a few extra items and set up a little wine tasting for us to get a feel for the menu and what they could provide for our event. Daniel, the chef, encouraged us to dream up our perfect menu, either selecting items off their menu or just choosing our favorite dishes, and he made it all come together for our event. They also custom ordered some wine that we specifically wanted for the event and let us take home the extra unopened bottles. We also had various cocktails, which is Dorothy's specialty. The space itself is well-designed, with a beachy/tropical feel and we collaborated with a florist right next to Dorothy's to add some floral arrangements on the dinner tables (which they dropped off and took care of the day of the event). We also created a playlist for the event which they were able to play both outside and inside. I'd highly recommend hosting a private event at Dorothy's. They'll work with you from start to finish, and every step/component is highly customizable. We had already booked another event for our Welcome Party after the Rehearsal Dinner, but there was the option to open the doors up to the rest of the wedding guests in town and roll the Rehearsal Dinner right into a Welcome Party at Dorothy's.
