How any business can trust this bakery for their customer's wedding cakes is beyond me. I have what I asked for, and what I received on my WEDDING DAY attached. I already spoke to the manager at the bakery and they didn't even refund me HALF of... the extra money I paid for the wedding cake design requested. My husband, when we were still boyfriend-girlfriend, carved our initials into a birch tree. I can't tell you how excited we were to have this cake at our wedding, and how I specifically told the photographer I want a photo of us cutting the wedding cake together because it is such a cute part of the wedding day. I received a cake that someone so CARELESSLY, and HEARTLESSLY, rushed through. They printed out a photo of what I wanted and attached it to the order, and told us it would be NO PROBLEM AT ALL, to do this RELATIVELY SIMPLE design. Instead, someone took a white cake, dipped a paintbrush in POOP-BROWN PAINT, and PAINTED WEIRD BROWN STROKES ON A WHITE CAKE. I was EMBARRASSED on my wedding day, something NO BRIDE SHOULD EVER FEEL on a ONCE IN A LIFETIME DAY. SHAME ON YOU. The manager was very nice, and very empathetic, but the owner could not be BOTHERED to even FULLY REFUND ME which would've been the VERY LEAST that he could do. I am absolutely heartbroken that my wedding day has permanent scar on it that I don't think I will be able to just "laugh about" in 10, 20, 50 years from now. Another reviewer said something very similar to me and was equally disappointed. The cake itself was of mediocre quality. We would have paid ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY for the cake we wanted, we assumed that's why we were charged an additional $450 for the design. The money is not the issue. The quality of work, IS. Stop using this bakery for weddings. They don't deserve the business.
