About this vendor
Dos Picos County Park is located in the Ramona area. Its name, Spanish for "two peaks," is derived from two prominent mountains nearby. Sheltered by two prominent mountains, this park is filled with shaded oak trees and a lawn area that overlooks a pond. The groves and steep mountain slopes add to the park’s secluded atmosphere. The pond-side wedding and reception area accommodates up to 300 people with a gazebo nearby to host the ceremony. The venue also offers two other areas that can accommodate 50 to 150 people.

This park was perfect for our outdoor, casual wedding. It is a park, so of course you provide everything yourself but the San Diego park system has done a really good job setting up for these events. It was just beautiful and the ranger who helped us was really nice and everything was ready to go right on time. There are some things I would change (guests had to pay a $3 parking fee for each car) but for the most part I was super happy with the spot.
The park is beautiful. We had the ceremony in the woods near the gazaebo, which was perfect and shielded us from the heat. The dance pavillion is too large to be very practical for a dance floor for a reception. The rangers said that they would make sure shady people weren't intruding, but I didn't see a ranger the whole time and there were plenty of non-wedding folk milling around; a few actually took a beer!
