This is a beautiful venue with so much to offer!! You can stay Friday- Sunday, allowing set up and clean up more than plenty of time.There are cabins on site that you can pay for so your bridal party or family can stay onsite for the weekend, which is very nice so you know they are all taken care of. There are activities to do all around the property, winter, spring, summer, or fall. The reception hall has the option of an outdoor tent and gas heaters are provided for those cooler days. Barbara, the owner is a tremendous help with all your questions and needs leading up to the big day and for the big day as well. She helped us in every way we needed and was so accommodating to us. It is a beautiful venue and if you are looking to have a smaller wedding this is the place for you!!

The Double Bar B is an absolutely beautiful venue! It's more than a wedding venue. It's acres and acres of STUNNING natural beauty, with 3 cabins that can fit your family and/or wedding party. Our entire wedding party and significant others (21 of us) stayed on site. It was more than just a wedding, it was like a camp-out wedding weekend that we all enjoyed so much! Barbara and Paul are the sweetest and most hospitable hosts. Barbara let us come out and see the property as many times as we liked to get a feel for everything and plan for our big day. She was so easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to all of our questions. Also very flexible. She did everything to prepare the space for us. Paul helped us move the patio heaters back and forth so we could use them both nights- by the big cabin for the rehearsal dinner, and at the reception area. There are also two giant fire pits- one by the big cabin, and one by the reception hall. We had the most perfect outdoor Fall wedding on 10/26/19. There is also a beautiful lake with the ceremony island, and some great hiking trails. This place is gorgeous! In the middle of nowhere in the woods. So peaceful! You could see the stars and hear the coyotes. Thank you for everything Barbara and Paul! We really enjoyed our stay :-)

My brother got married here in April of 2018. I was the maid of honor, so I helped organize a lot. The venue is beautiful and I loved the ability to have the wedding party stay on site. Make sure to check this one out! Only con is that the island cannot hold more than 160 people.
