I could not more highly recommend Double Knot. I felt so taken care of with Micah. She worked with my budget in a way that I did not expect, and was very blessed by. She was respon...
sive to my emails and fully receptive to my ideas. She was flexible during the day of the wedding and captured every moment I requested of her. I'm not a small woman either, and never intended to be this large on my wedding day, but she still gave me photos of me and my husband that I am proud to hang in our home and share with family.
If you are looking for THE BEST wedding photographer Double Knot is it!!! I emailed Micah days after I got engaged and she replied super quickly and was able to meet with me the ne...
xt week! She was amazing and very informational about what they do and wanted to hear exactly what I was wanting! I chose Double Knot that day and Micah was our photographer. She is PHENOMENAL. Her organization and attention to detail is quite amazing! I was blown away by our engagement session and I am still obsessed with our wedding photos! They are more than STUNNING. She makes it so fun and easy! My husband even had fun taking pictures with her and he hates pictures! He told me it was totally worth it because of how great the pictures were and how many we received! I highly recommend Micah and the Double Knot Team!
From the moment I got engaged I knew I had to have Double Knot as our photographer, videographer, and wedding planner and designer. The minute I met the Double Knot team I knew our...
wedding would be in good hands. Kendra is seriously the best! Every month we met was like catching up with a friend! She made sure each month that I didn't forget anything and gave me so much peace of mind knowing that I, my now husband, and family didn't have to worry about doing a single thing the day of the wedding. She listened to my vision for the design of our wedding and made it even more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed. Kendra ran our whole timeline and I didn't have to worry about our day running smoothly. We used Kendra's decor and decorations so it was a big help to not have to bring cars full of our own decor and her set up team is amazing!
Jessie and Micah are so amazing at what they do. Jessie made our engagement session so much fun and our pictures were absolutely perfect. We were all laughing so hard the entire time! On our wedding day I didn't have to worry about Jessie and Micah getting pictures of everything because we created the shot list and timeline with Kendra as well(a huge plus to them being a team!) I trust them and knew they would go above and beyond and they definitely did! Everything from getting ready pictures, first look, bridal party, reception/reception details, ceremony/ceremony details, family pictures, and sparkler exit are absolutely perfect! I only had to box up everything for detail shots and hand it over to them and let them create beautiful pictures! I can't wait to display our wedding photos in our home forever, they are beyond beautiful!
Levi was the only Double Knot team member that I didn't meet until the day of the wedding but you would've never known! Jessie, Micah, and Levi were so good at working together to get all of the photo and video footage, which was so important to me. Our sneak peek video is beyond beautiful and I know the full version will be incredible. Kendra and Levi will also dance at your reception which was super fun!
I could not imagine our wedding without Double Knot Weddings. They became like family to us and made our day exactly the way we wanted it and better! I could go on forever with how amazing, talented, and caring this company is. I highly recommend Double Knot Weddings for photography, videography, and planning!

ng and I can’t thank them enough. Your photographers can make our break your day, and let me tell you, Double Knot MADE our day! They helped everything run smooth, made everyone feel comfortable, and the environment never felt stressful. After the wedding when we took our portraits Ethan and I had so much fun. We felt like it was just the two of us enjoying the fact we were husband and wife. Mean while Cameron and Micah were capturing all of these sweet moments between the two of us. It was sweet, romantic, and fun to have two amazing women capture our first moments together as husband and wife. Micah and Cameron are the best. I love them both so so much and can’t thank them enough for everything they did for our wedding. We just got our USB of all our pictures and it made me fall in love with them all over again. Let me tell you, double knot does not do anything half way. Even their USB is so so cute when it is delivered. I could go on and on about Double Knot, but I promise if you pick them to capture your wedding day you will not regret it. Thank you Double Knot, the Pucketts love you💕
One of the decisions I was most anxious about when we started wedding planning was finding our perfect photographer/videographer team. There were so many checklist items I wanted t...
o have met but I didn’t know anything about photography/videography. I spent weeks researching various photographers, looking through countless portfolios, and contacted at least ten different companies. From the MOMENT I connected with Micah Schmidt at Double Knot Photography I knew we had found our team. From the very beginning, very detail was taken into consideration and every stress was lifted off our shoulders. We didn’t just hire professionals; we hired a team that became our family. Our wedding day was captured through our eyes. They didn’t just capture moments, they captured memories. Every photo we got back had a story that followed along with it. They captured the laughs, the tears, and the moments that will last us a lifetime. We didn’t just want to see the sweet, intimate moments, we wanted to relive the loud, extravagant dance party that followed. The team at Double Knot learned who were on a personal level so that they could capture our special day exactly as we saw it. Forever, I had been on the fence of hiring a videographer team for our wedding day. I wasn’t convinced that it would all be worth it in the end. If I could back and do it all over again, the first decision I would make would be to hire Double Knot as our videographer team all over again. The moments that were captured through pictures were brought to life through our wedding day video. The seamlessness, love, detail, and time that was put into creating our story was perfect. I pray that couples that would find their way to this amazing team of individuals. You’re not just hiring a photographer/videographer, you’re hiring a family when use Double Knot. I guarantee that you will never look back and regret hiring them but instead be so pleased that you’ll want everyone you know to use them. We will use them for every stage of life that follows; pregnancy announcements, family photos, and every event to follow.
This team hands down deserves 5 stars. Every communication and interaction with this team was the most pleasant experience of my wedding planning process.

ery helpful in answering all of my questions and helping me organize and execute our wedding day photography timeline.
Jessie was our wedding day photographer and also took our engagement photos. I gave her my vision for our engagement photos and she nailed it! The location was on point, she agreed to a sunrise shoot without hesitation (because we live out of town), and she even showed up with our coffee order! She has us laughing the entire shoot and I just knew from that day on that I had picked the right photographers.
Our wedding day was no exception. Jessie and Cameron were our photographers and they handled that day with such ease. They were flexible, had a calming presence, and were quick and efficient (which is necessary for taking pictures outside in Texas in August).
When we received our photos from our wedding day, I was more than pleased with how they turned out. These ladies captured everything so perfectly and I cannot thank them enough for giving us photos that we will cherish forever!
You will not be disappointed with Double Knot.
Double Knot truly captured the essence of our wedding. Every picture is unique, amazing, and so fun. Micah and the Double Knot team are a DREAM to work with. A group of people who ...
truly know what they are doing. I would recommend Double Knot to anyone!

the personalities of each individual so well. I love the details in the pictures that helped me remember little things I had already forgotten. They got every emotion and each special moment so well. We will cherish our photos forever! So many favorites I don't even know which ones to print!!
Micah was so wonderful throughout the day as well. She was such a pleasant and calm presence on a day that has the potential to be very stressful. She rolled with every adjustment, was so flexible, and had an incredible attitude through all of it. She brought such a sweet spirit with her that positively affected our entire day.
Overall, it was the best possible experience and if I could give more than 5 stars I totally would!

sionalism. They made us feel so comfortable and captured every amazing moment of our wedding. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs a photography team. We look forward to working with them at our venue, but also for our own family pictures.
I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am for the Double Knot Photography team! Micah was a dream come true from our very first meeting at their office. I knew she was the perfec...
t fit. She takes the time to get to know her clients and really understand their story. I always had 100% confidence in Micah and her team and they never disappointed! For example, the day of our engagement photoshoot winds were blowing at 23mph and every image was a fairytale despite the crazy Texas weather! Micah has the BEST personality and created such a personal atmosphere we felt as if we had known her for years. She was able to interact with us and make everything look and feel natural. Also, Micah would always check up on me and was very easy to get into contact with! We met up for coffee to discuss the details for my wedding day, which included a wedding day timeline that made everything flow so easily on the big day. My wedding day was a moment I had dreamt about since I can remember and Micah was by my side capturing every moment. Now that this wonderful wedding day bliss has come to an end I am left with beautiful photos that will last a lifetime.

was a part of two other weddings the Double Knot girls had photographed. There was no question, I had to have them as well! The girls are so relaxed, professional, kind & personable. I felt at ease through my whole planning process & the day of my wedding. I could not have asked for the photography of my wedding day to go any smoother. If you are in the Fort Worth or Abilene areas, Double Knot is the best there is!

me we had a question she was there to answer it. Our engagement pictures are breathtaking, and we have received more compliments on them then we can count. Not only is she talented, but she is very organized and a great friend. At our wedding she allowed us creativity, while also keeping structure and controlling our families during family photos. We can't wait to frame our gorgeous pictures! If you are considering Double Knot, trust me and choose them now. They were our absolute favorite vendor in our wedding.

rything has turned out beautifully. We loved our engagement photos and the sneak peek of our wedding. Can't wait to see the rest of our photos! They made sure to bring flashes for our dark venue, scouted out the best locations, and I know everything will turn out great. They really listen and know how to get the most out of everyone involved (even the crying 2 year old ring bearer). They were also up for the photo idea some of our bridal party sprung on them, and the photos turned out great. Highly recommend.

I have to say my most favorite part was receiving creative cards, packages and gifts from them in the mail! :) These girls are Oh-so-Sweet when it comes to thinking of you and every little detail! They are quick to respond via email or text! They are just great overall when it comes to running a fabulous business! I highly recommend Double Knot Photography! You will not regret!-Faye
We used Double Knot for our wedding, engagement, bridal, and photobooth pictures in June 2013. Micah and Ashley are some of the kindest girls you will ever meet and are very profes...
sional. They work really hard to figure out your style/personality and do an amazing job reflecting that in the photos. I have zero complaints about any of our pictures, we were extremely happy with all of them. My husband is not very photogenic and they made him look great :) We ended up with almost 1000 images from our wedding, and plenty to choose from for engagements and bridals. I will be honest and say that they are kind of pricey, but pretty comparable to other photographers of the same quality. We felt that it was well worth it to spend a lot on the only things that will last from the day- the pictures. My ONLY complaint is that buying the pictures from the gallery (which we had to do for engagements to display because we don't get the digitals until after the wedding) were way too expensive. $12 for a 4X6 just didn't really seem reasonable to us. Other than that which is very minor, we absolutely loved Double Knot and would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone! It is a Christian company which was HUGE bonus for us.
I love these girls! They were a dream to work with, and my photos came out better than i could have hoped for. I would recommend them to anyone i know looking for beautiful photos ...

Our engagement photos turned out so perfect, they were able to capture exactly what I wanted. I was no easy to bride to work with, I had a very specific look I had in mind and they were definitely on my same wavelength.
I haven't seen all of our wedding photos yet but I have seen the sneak peek and they are stunning. I can't wait to see the rest of them!
You are definitely getting peace of mind when you book with these girls. They ask a lot of questions to fully understand your vision and they definitely put forth the effort to get to know you. They produce such beautiful photos!

Micah and Ashley helped us feel at ease during our engagement pictures and my husband and myself had so much fun we felt like models by the end of the day! The quality of the engagement pictures and wedding photos were unbelieveable that we got compliments from complete strangers!
We are so happy that we chose the Double Knot girls to capture our special day. We not only came out of our wedding with great pictures, but two more friends in the process!
I met the double knot girls at a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in. I saw them in action, and how awesome they were to work with, I knew I HAD to have them shoot my wedding!!!!! ...
They were available on my wedding date and they made me the happiest bride in the world! From the engagements to bridals to the beautiful wedding day, every step of the way they were there for us, supporting us and telling us how great we looked! They completely exceeded our expectations, I continuously refer them to brides because I know they can put their trust in these photographers. These girls captured the most special moments and I can't thank them enough for EVERYTHING! They adapt to any situation and do it with a huge smile on their face. If you are considering Double Knot you should book them, YOU WON'T be disappointed.

THE WEDDING DAY, Double Knot Girls truely captured our love in the photos they took of A.J. and me! They also did such a wonderful job with getting pictures of those every little details you worked SO HARD on that are such a BIG deal to you, as the BRIDE lol, but maybe not so much anyone else! They were also as flexible as they can be when, oh lets say, WEATHER changes come on your wedding day :) lol they were so sweet and helped out in anyway they could to make those last minute changes with locations!... Im telling you they brain stormed with me 2 days before my wedding day trying to figure out the perfect place to have my wedding! SO SWEET! Double Knot Girls are very personable and are interested in who you are and try to capture that YOU in your photos so you get pictures that you will LOVE forever. Now I get to just simply enjoy my pictures and the memories we had making them with Double Knot Photography girls! :) Double Knot Photography Girls ya'll are such a blessing to me and to others! Keep up the good work!!!!

ions and they were ready to go every second with a big smile on their faces. I had the unfortunate luck of having a ton of rain on my wedding day and was disappointed we could not take a lot of the pics we had discussed. The girls ended up bringing cute umbrellas and took some absolutely stunning photos downtown. They can adapt to any situation and make it beautiful. If you are considering using them DO IT! Don't even think twice.
I searched high and low for photographers in Texas. I actually even attempted to fly 2 photographers in from AZ to be a part of our wedding. Needless to say it didn't work out as...
planned. We hired another local photographer to do our engagement pictures and 4 weeks after the photoshoot we recieved a disk with 12 pictures that looked like I tried taking them. We were so bummed! I came across Doubleknot Photography and thought these guys are perfect for what I am looking for. We were in a different situation because my husband and I had already been married and had 2 children- but we never had a real wedding. Ashley and Micah did such an amazing job capturing our eccentric style with our two beautiful children and all of our animals during our "engagement session" we we recieved the first round of photos there we over 150 of just the first half of the session!!! It was so amazing to have them take pictures. They are so good at explaining their directions and being clear about what they are asking of you. They help you feel comfortable for those of us who are camera shy! Micah, pregnant with a tinny baby bump wasn't scared to get on her knees to capture the perfect shot! I cannot say enough good about both of them. They are genuiune and sweet and beautiful inside and out! They make an amazing team and work so well together. My husband and I and our 2 children we thrilled to see all of the 37+ pages of pictures they captured for us. These pictures remind us of all of our most prescious moments of our engagement sessions and wedding day. Thank you both for going above and beyond our expectations!!! With you whimsical twist on Serious and fun made the photoshoots a lot of fun!!!
Thanks again.
We are truly happy with your work,

I absolutley LOVED having Ashley and Micha as my wedding photographers! Started off with an amazing bridal session and I the pictures really quickly! Then they made my wedding day ...
SOO amazing by capturing every moment and coming up with such creative photo ideas! The pricing was very reasonable and couldn't ask for a better wedding experience!

on of being low on funds. So I began looking online for a photographer who had beautiful pictures & something within my price range. On of the first photographer websites that came up was Double Knot Photography. I fell in love with their pictures immediately & made a call. They worked so well with me & my schedule, but more importantly with my (at-the-time) fiance. He was in Iraq at the time trying to pay for the wedding and pictures... Micah & Ashley were our middle-man, informing us both what was going on & keeping us informed of dates & times of everything that was going on! They were so patient and loving... The day arrived to take my bridal pictures & it began to pour rain. They informed me & said that we could reschedule for another day, but with school & having to travel to get to the wedding site, I decided to just risk it & go. The Lord smiled upon us & lifted the rain about 30 minutes before our scheduled time!
They impressed me even more when I received my wedding pictures... I saw Micah once during the entire wedding, but that was it! It was like they were invisible during the wedding! They took AMAZING pictures & captured every little moment that I would want to remember! That day seemed to be a blur, but thanks to Micah & Ashley, I can look back & relive that day anytime I look at the pictures. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to take our wedding pictures... Thank you Micah & Ashley for EVERYTHING y'all have done... You will never know how blessed my & Matt's lives have been because of you both! On top of everything else, we received a "Happy Anniversary" card with a picture of us from the wedding inside! :) They aren't just your everyday photographers that come & go... They really honestly to care!

re officially Double Knot! I look at our engagement, my bridal, and our wedding pictures all of the time and every time I fall more in love with the photos! Ashley and Micah made it easy to relax during the photos! That made our photos look natural, fun, and not too posed! They are so personable and wonderful to work with! The only thing I wish I could have changed was the fact that I didn't get to meet Micah until our wedding day (because we booked Ashley when she was 'Ashley Wilkins Photography)! They are great!
