do and wanted to hear exactly what I was wanting! I chose Double Knot that day and Micah was our photographer. She is PHENOMENAL. Her organization and attention to detail is quite amazing! I was blown away by our engagement session and I am still obsessed with our wedding photos! They are more than STUNNING. She makes it so fun and easy! My husband even had fun taking pictures with her and he hates pictures! He told me it was totally worth it because of how great the pictures were and how many we received! I highly recommend Micah and the Double Knot Team!

very month we met was like catching up with a friend! She made sure each month that I didn't forget anything and gave me so much peace of mind knowing that I, my now husband, and family didn't have to worry about doing a single thing the day of the wedding. She listened to my vision for the design of our wedding and made it even more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed. Kendra ran our whole timeline and I didn't have to worry about our day running smoothly. We used Kendra's decor and decorations so it was a big help to not have to bring cars full of our own decor and her set up team is amazing! Jessie and Micah are so amazing at what they do. Jessie made our engagement session so much fun and our pictures were absolutely perfect. We were all laughing so hard the entire time! On our wedding day I didn't have to worry about Jessie and Micah getting pictures of everything because we created the shot list and timeline with Kendra as well(a huge plus to them being a team!) I trust them and knew they would go above and beyond and they definitely did! Everything from getting ready pictures, first look, bridal party, reception/reception details, ceremony/ceremony details,family pictures, and sparkler exit are absolutely perfect! I only had to box up everything for detail shots and hand it over to them and let them create beautiful pictures! I can't wait to display our wedding photos in our home forever, they are beyond beautiful! Levi was the only Double Knot team member that I didn't meet until the day of the wedding but you would've never known! Jessie, Micah, and Levi were so good at working together to get all of the photo and video footage, which was so important to me. Our sneak peek video is beyond beautiful and I know the full version will be incredible. Kendra and Levi will also dance at your reception which was super fun! I could not imagine our wedding without Double Knot Weddings. They became like family to us and made our day exactly the way we wanted it and better! I could go on forever with how amazing, talented, and caring this company is. I highly recommend Double Knot Weddings for photography, videography, and planning!

After the wedding when we took our portraits Ethan and I had so much fun. We felt like it was just the two of us enjoying the fact we were husband and wife. Mean while Cameron and Micah were capturing all of these sweet moments between the two of us. It was sweet, romantic, and fun to have two amazing women capture our first moments together as husband and wife. Micah and Cameron are the best. I love them both so so much and can’t thank them enough for everything they did for our wedding. We just got our USB of all our pictures and it made me fall in love with them all over again. Let me tell you, double knot does not do anything half way. Even their USB is so so cute when it is delivered. From the MOMENT I connected with Micah Schmidt at Double Knot Photography I knew we had found our team. From the very beginning, very detail was taken into consideration and every stress was lifted off our shoulders. We didn’t just hire professionals; we hired a team that became our family. Our wedding day was captured through our eyes. They didn’t just capture moments, they captured memories. Every photo we got back had a story that followed along with it. They captured the laughs, the tears, and the moments that will last us a lifetime. nize and execute our wedding day photography timeline. Jessie was our wedding day photographer and also took our engagement photos. I gave her my vision for our engagement photos and she nailed it! The location was on point, she agreed to a sunrise shoot without hesitation (because we live out of town), and she even showed up with our coffee order! She has us laughing the entire shoot and I just knew from that day on that I had picked the right photographers. Our wedding day was no exception. Jessie and Cameron were our photographers and they handled that day with such ease. They were flexible, had a calming presence, and were quick and efficient (which is necessary for taking pictures outside in Texas in August). When we received our photos from our wedding day, I was more than pleased with how they turned out. These ladies captured everything so perfectly and I cannot thank them enough for giving us photos that we will cherish forever! You will not be disappointed with Double Knot.

So many favorites I don't even know which ones to print!! Micah was so wonderful throughout the day as well. She was such a pleasant and calm presence on a day that has the potential to be very stressful. She rolled with every adjustment, was so flexible, and had an incredible attitude through all of it. She brought such a sweet spirit with her that positively affected our entire day. Overall, it was the best possible experience and if I could give more than 5 stars I totally would!

understand their story. I always had 100% confidence in Micah and her team and they never disappointed! For example, the day of our engagement photoshoot winds were blowing at 23mph and every image was a fairytale despite the crazy Texas weather! Micah has the BEST personality and created such a personal atmosphere we felt as if we had known her for years.  She was able to interact with us and make everything look and feel natural. Also, Micah would always check up on me and was very easy to get into contact with! We met up for coffee to discuss the details for my wedding day, which included a wedding day timeline that made everything flow so easily on the big day. My wedding day was a moment I had dreamt about since I can remember and Micah was by my side capturing every moment. Now that this wonderful wedding day bliss has come to an end I am left with beautiful photos that will last a lifetime.

pictures are breathtaking, and we have received more compliments on them then we can count. Not only is she talented, but she is very organized and a great friend. At our wedding she allowed us creativity, while also keeping structure and controlling our families during family photos. We can't wait to frame our gorgeous pictures! If you are considering Double Knot, trust me and choose them now. They were our absolute favorite vendor in our wedding.

They made sure to bring flashes for our dark venue, scouted out the best locations, and I know everything will turn out great. They really listen and know how to get the most out of everyone involved (even the crying 2 year old ring bearer). They were also up for the photo idea some of our bridal party sprung on them, and the photos turned out great. Highly recommend.

LY recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer for an indoor or outdoor wedding and also for engagement pictures. They were so easy to work with, so fast to respond and really get to know you and what you are looking for in pictures. I LOVE these girls!!!!

I have to say my most favorite part was receiving creative cards, packages and gifts from them in the mail! :) These girls are Oh-so-Sweet when it comes to thinking of you and every little detail! ty and do an amazing job reflecting that in the photos. I have zero complaints about any of our pictures, we were extremely happy with all of them. My husband is not very photogenic and they made him look great :) We ended up with almost 1000 images from our wedding, and plenty to choose from for engagements and bridals. I will be honest and say that they are kind of pricey, but pretty comparable to other photographers of the same quality. We felt that it was well worth it to spend a lot on the only things that will last from the day- the pictures. My ONLY complaint is that buying the pictures from the gallery (which we had to do for engagements to display because we don't get the digitals until after the wedding) were way too expensive. $12 for a 4X6 just didn't really seem reasonable to us. Other than that which is very minor, we absolutely loved Double Knot and would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone! It is a Christian company which was HUGE bonus for us.
