We didn’t have to worry once about the music being timed right or what song- I had full trust in him. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ.

e did a fantastic job setting up the space exactly how we envisioned it and made sure every detail was just right. Before our wedding, he met with us twice to go over everything and make sure we were all on the same page. That extra time and attention to detail meant so much to my husband and me. On the wedding day, he played all of the songs we had discussed and even took special care to make sure he had the correct versions of each song. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests absolutely loved the music and song selections! DJ James did an amazing job creating such a fun atmosphere and truly helped make our wedding night unforgettable. We would highly recommend DJ James and Double Platinum for any wedding or special event!

pretty soon after. We had a lovely phonecall with the DJ to get a feel for his personality, and once we committed, he sent us a website link for filling out details for the wedding. From here, it was super easy to fill in the wedding day of timeline to ensure Lou had the right schedule ready to MC. There was also a form to fill out up to 50 each of "Must Play" songs, "Try To Play" Songs, and "Do Not Play" Songs. The actual day of the wedding couldn't have gone any smoother thanks to Lou. He played some casual instrumental music to set the tone at cocktail hour and was then great on the mic when introducing us (the bride and groom) into the reception. Once the dancefloor opened up, DJ Lou really began to shine. We had a lot of odd and specific song requests that maybe wouldn't have appealed to all of our guests, but Lou very smoothly mixed in the hits with the requests, and the dancefloor was popping the whole reception with guests of all ages. At the end of the night, one of our guests even went up to hug him because he did such a great job reading the vibes and making the party! Thank you so much for such excellent service!

so that the day of we didn't have to worry or think about anything. We had a couple of questions about music choices for our walk-out and first song he was able to guide us on. His selections for cocktail hour and our cake cutting were perfect, and he absolutely killed the reception music. He played the songs for the perfect amount of time, the transitions were smooth, and he read the room really well. We had a great time.

great suggestions including “what ifs” as far as people requesting do not plays (especially if it was close family/friends which we didn’t even think about), was detailed when it came to dances (like when to start and end songs), and executed them perfectly! When the real dancing began, he also kept the party going without doing too much mixing but also knowing when dancing slowed down to then switch it up to get people back out on the floor! He was great to work with and he even went out of his way to take some videos from the DJ booth! Overall I’d highly recommend him! On the wedding day, we also had to make a last-minute switch from an outdoor to an indoor setup due to the weather, and DJ Matthew handled the change seamlessly without adding any stress. We truly can't say enough good things about DJ Matthew. He played a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable, and we would recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding DJ and MC!

were on the list of preferred vendors at our venue. One of the other DJs was also on the list of preferred vendors but the price we were quoted was quite a bit higher than Double Platinum for similar services. The third DJ we talked to was recommended by a friend and had very similar pricing to Double Platinum, but we didn’t really like as much how they operated – basically all communication and planning leading up to our wedding would be done with the company owner, and we wouldn’t even talk to our DJ until the day of the wedding. That wasn’t the type of experience we were looking for. We had great communication and a reasonable quote from Double Platinum and went ahead with the booking for them as they were clearly the best choice of the three. DJ Jason was the DJ available for our event and he was awesome! So friendly and responsive with our initial meeting to our last and emails in between. His online planning tool was helpful. When discussing our event with Jason we discussed the vibe and flow we were looking to create with the music and he completely understood what we wanted and just totally nailed it! He was very experienced and professional. So many people have told us that our wedding was “the best” or “most fun” they have ever been to and I know that Jason played a significant role in that! You won’t be disappointed with Double Platinum or DJ Jason for your wedding!

We definitely gave him a challenge with the sheer variety in genre as well. Kevin did a great job at adding personal touches in our introduction, and our other vendors loved working with him too. DJ Kevin's system to make sure we shared details about our wedding, songs we wanted (or didn't want played) and any songs that were for specific moments was easy to use. DJ Kevin was available for any questions we had as they came up throughout the process which was a nice relief, didn't have to chase anyone for answers.  On our wedding day he was the perfect vibe for what we wanted. He was flexible with us changing the timelines for some aspects of the wedding and made sure everything we wanted was there for us. We wanted to do a "photo dash" but have our guests come up to us and just have it be laid back rather than "dashing". DJ Kevin made sure to make the announcements when needed and called each table to come take their picture with us. For my mom's side of the family we had specific Lebanese traditions and music to play at a point during the night and DJ Kevin made sure to have everything we needed, all the right songs, and helped to make it a memorable experience!

day was truly special! From the various planning meetings to getting ready for the wedding day, DJ Matthew was so professional and took the time to care/make sure everything was buttoned up. Not to mention, he kept the whole night running smoothly, and then had our guests out on the dance floor for hours! Any couple would be lucky to work with him and Double Platinum Celebrations for their wedding - we will always be grateful for DJ Matthew's, he's the absolute best!

Those details meant the world to us, and he handled them all with such care and professionalism.
