At first I was so excited because they were amazing throughout the process of planning! But spent months working on my playlist but very disappointed ! They played none of the songs i requested especially for the older generation- I had to go up to the dj about 5x maybe more to ask ? Finally I saw my playlist next to him and had to pick the songs out.. I’m sorry, but I’m the bride I shouldn’t be doing that! The younger crowd had fun with the music but did older? No… they sat the whole time! I’ll get over it but next time don’t even bother making a playlist as they won’t even look at it.. at least they played the last 5 songs I wanted. Would I recommend this DJ? Nope! Sorry.

Very responsive via email and phone leading up to event, very helpful for a stressed out bride haha. Absolutely exceeded expectations day of. They kept everyone on the dance floor with banger after banger- completely reading the room while adhering to a pre discussed do and do not play list. Connor was amazing day or checking in with my husband and I to make sure things were exactly how we wanted it. He was able to make my dreams come true with the most perfect walking down the aisle song. He was also able to help me surprise my family by fading our father daughter dance into my parents first dance song and then my grandparents first dance song- not a dry eye in the room. Loved having them for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception all of which was in my budget!!! Uplighting provided was the cherry on top. I could rave about this experience for hours 10000/10 recommend. Thank you so much DPDJ for helping make my wedding night everything I could’ve asked for and more!

Double Platinum was amazing to work with for our big day! Communication was always quick and clear and they were so receptive to our personal vision and any special requests. It was so nice to know that we were working with true professionals who had everything handled on the day from playlists, to lighting, to speakers and mics, to orchestrating all the events throughout the day. We truly didn't have to worry about a thing! Having a real, professional DJ at your wedding is not just about someone who picks the music, it's about someone who can act as the MC for your evening- keeping things on schedule, telling your guests where to go, organizing any chosen activities, and making choices as the night goes on to keep the party going! Nolan was incredible and followed through on every specific song selection and request we had. He arrived early and stayed late, making sure everything was handled perfectly. We had an incredible wedding day, but we truly felt that our DJ was one of the best decisions we made and made the entire evening go off without a hitch. Could not recommend more!

We got married on 9/14/2024 and had Marcus as a DJ. We are nothing short of pleased of the service he provided for us for the night. Marcus was quick to shift a song if the crowd wasn’t reacting to it and if the dance floor took a shift. The temperature in our venue was a little warmer that day and Marcus still had people out on the dance floor all night long. We scheduled a call with Marcus about a month before our wedding day and there was no doubt in my mind that he’d provide us with a wonderful time, as he discussed his experience in the industry. I was completely satisfied with how our day was handled.

DJ Marcus was awesome! Very great to work with. He flawlessly executed the ceremony music as well as the entrance music for each respective wedding party. He did a great job of accommodating our requests, while also mixing in guest requests and his own choices based on the current vibe. I think the dance floor was full the entire time, even up to the very end. He was also kind enough to allow me (the groom) to “guest DJ” a few songs at the very end of the night! Highly recommend double platinum and DJ Marcus in particular.

It was a very windy day for our ceremony and he handled it like a true pro, even when everything came down with the speakers and we had to quickly pivot: He made sure that everything got back on track and was very fast. We gave him a vibe to go off of, and he truly excelled and made our day wonderful! Truly, not enough words to describe how great this business is!

Double Platinum DJ was a great company to work with for our wedding! Bill and the office manager Conner were very organized and promptly responded to communication. We had DJ Jake for our wedding day, and he showed up several hours before guests arrived to ensure everything was set up. He nailed all our "moments" songs and kept the dance floor alive all throughout the evening!

We had Conner for our DJ at our wedding in Lake Geneva. He did an amazing job keeping the party going through the night! The light up dance floor we had rented through Double Platinum was also a huge hit!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Double Platinum DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, the communication was top-notch—clear, timely, and incredibly helpful. Our DJ really listened to our preferences and made sure everyone was having fun. The music was outstanding! He curated an incredible playlist that kept the dance floor packed all night long. The energy was high and the vibe was exactly what we had hoped for.

From start to finish, Double Platinum DJ was great to work with. The owner Bill was great at the initial meeting and we enjoyed just chit chatting with him and learning about how he got into the business. He walked us through all the lighting and decorating options that he also provides. They really do have an impressive array of stuff! About a month out, we were assigned Conner as our DJ and he was great to work with. Communication was easy both via email and text. We touched base about 2 weeks prior to the wedding to go over the timeline and answer any questions we had. By the time the evening rolled around, everything played out great and we got tons of complements on the "bangers" Conner played. He was super organized and I appreciated that he was willing to ask me about things throughout the night to make sure that it was exactly how I wanted it. Double Platinum is another vendor that works well with the Terrace so Conner was super familiar with the place and the people.

Conner was the best from day 1 at our 1st meeting to the end of our wedding night. He was so kind and patient with us and always acknowledged or responded so promptly with our MANY questions and or changes. We felt at ease because he always had an answer and he is confident in what he does - and that is what couples need during wedding planning- someone who is cool, calm and collected. He showed up early to the wedding prepared - and executed his assignment like we had asked. He is professional , social and he was a blessing to have on our wedding day. He was able to keep the people dancing and the floor packed. We couldn’t be happier with Conner and double platinum! We highly recommend them !

Double Platinum was very easy to work with and I very much enjoyed their time and dedication to our wedding. They send you a packet to fill out that answers many of your questions about how to run your wedding day. I was pleased with how thorough it was. All the staff was wonderful and kind, their communication was excellent and they have tons of add-ons to spice up your wedding day!

DJ Nolan was amazing! Helped sense the vibe of the room and chose the music off of that! He was so understanding and helpful. Answered all of my questions and accommodated for whatever I asked for!

I am the Mom of the Bride but I speak based on the feedback from the bride and groom as well as the guests. It was a pleasure working with Double Platinum, from the time we first talked with them and at our in-person meeting with Bill, they were always responsive and helpful. And they were patient, waiting for the couple to give them direction. The wedding was beautiful in all ways, and Connor was a critical part of that with the outstanding music, his responsiveness to requests, and making announcements. We loved that he was low-key and friendly and the music was quieter during the dinner and nice and loud for dancing. We all had a blast! We highly recommend Double Platinum for your wedding or any event!

We hired Double Platinum DJ for our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic!!! Everything from our initial consultation meeting through execution of our vision on our wedding day was the epitome of professionalism and expertise. DJ Conner was incredibly attentive to us the entire day and was an integral part in making the reception the dance party of our dreams. Cannot speak highly enough of him or the DJ company and highly recommend booking them for your wedding!!

I hired this Dj with a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately our experience was less than a 1 star. I would have given atleast a few, however after the fact of what we dealt with, the emails that I’m not receiving are condescending and insulting from the owner. We hired a wedding coordinator that works over 50 weddings a year and has been doing this for over 25 years. I asked the coordinator after what WE experienced what his thoughts were since the coordinator has the most interaction with this specific Dj with double platinum. He said in all all his years he has never worked with such an unprofessional company and would never recommend them to any of his clients. With this being said, here is what we experienced. Dj was swearing and complaining while setting up our ceremony music. He didn’t have our music downloaded so when he went to set things up he wasn’t able to connect to the WiFi down below where the reception was being held. He had to ask the coordinator to use a hot spot connection from his phone in order to play music. Not prepared. Then when lining up for the grand march the Dj mentioned our “first song”. We planned to do first dance right after grand march. He mentioned the song and the one he mentioned was one that wasn’t even on our playlist. We had filled out a packet for Dj months in advance and he was missing a page-per the Dj. Thank god he asked because it was not our first dance song. He asked what it was and my brain is in a hundred different places. Thank god for my amazing coordinator because he went to find my phone to get it off the phone. I was drawing a blank on the name of the song. We got it all taken care of but still was not something I was expecting to have to deal with on our wedding day. Moving forward we had a faux cake for display and a real sheet cake in the back to be cut up and served to guests. The Dj announced we would be cutting the cake. We had to motion to him that we couldn’t because it was not curable! Moving on from that, we heard multiple people say that there were multiple repeat songs, along with him not making announcements for our venue which would be courtesy such as “don’t forget to tip bartenders” “make sure you make your way over to the Photo Booth” “dessert has been served”. I double checked with our coordinator about the announcements. He made non of them and told the owner of this business that he in fact had. I will go with my trusted coordinator who has had my back and helped to plan an amazing day while being organized and efficient and calm. My coordinator mentioned that he had to go ask the Dj to make an announcement for late night snack. We were never initiated to do a bouquet toss which I had bought one specifically for. Never got to do that and will not be reliving this day. Was disappointed about that. I had reached out to the owner and just let him know that theses were the things we experienced and in my opinion if I was a business owner I would want to know. The owner instead of taking responsibility and leaving it at that with an apology has been arguing with me back and forth via email. His employee lied to him and yet I’m getting heat through these emails. I have gotten multiple lengthy emails about how great his business is and how this just can’t be possible. I sent him the feedback from my well known coordinator in the area and it didn’t seem to hold much weight with him either. Owner will not call me. Only emails. Don’t walk, run!

Our whole experience with Double Platinum was great. We loved having DJ Nolan and DJ Edwin at our wedding! They coordinated very well with the live musicians we hired for the ceremony and during dinner and kept the dance floor absolutely packed all night. They set up lighting all over the dinner and dance space which made a huge impact on the atmosphere of the night. We also hired Double Platinum for a two-story drapery, which looked fantastic in our venue. Would absolutely recommend DPDJ for your event!

Double Platinum DJ truly made our wedding night awesome. Conner, our DJ, did an amazing job of reading the crowd and keeping people on the dance floor. We danced the night away and could not have asked for better music selections. Conner was also super responsive and clearly followed our suggestions. Double Platinum also had a variety of add ons we could choose from for great prices and we ended up selecting a confetti canon to go off at midnight of our New Years' Eve wedding which was a hit! We received so many compliments from guest and Conner really went above and beyond to make the night amazing!

We had Double Platinum, specifically Connor, for our November 2023 wedding! I could not have asked for a better DJ. He helped keep us on track all night, double checked with me when people requested songs (much appreciated), and kept everyone on the dance floor! Perfection! We organized this wedding from out of state and pretty much had to roll the dice on everything. We booked Double Platinum based only off one local relative’s recommendation. We couldn’t have been any happier. From the very first video chat, Double Platinum gave us peace of mind that everything was going to go smoothly on the big day. With only a few songs in our “must play” list to go from, our DJ played exactly what we wanted from start to finish. And all of the music was mixed live, with seamless transitions. Double Platinum was even better than we could have expected. Shawn, our Dj, did a FANTASTIC job on everything from announcements to music. He read the room perfectly throughout the night. I have straight up never seen that many people dancing for that long at a wedding…ever. The Photo Booth and CO2 package we included were also a big hit. All around 10/10, we absolutely recommend this DJ to anyone planning a wedding.

It was a pleasure working Double Platinum and DJ Conner. We and all our guests had a great experience. Conner was professional, flexible and kept the dance floor active all night with his music/lighting/overall work. We also used Double Platinum's gold chiavari chairs. The delivery/set-up was smooth, the chairs were the perfect fit for the space, and we received many compliments on their quality. An all around great experience and we would recommend Double Platinum to any couples getting married!

AMAZING!!! All my guests were contacting me the next few days asking who the DJ was because the music selection was incredible! Our dance floor was never empty and everyone had tons of fun. He also did the music for our ceremony and everything went perfectly. Sean was an outstanding DJ! Cost was very reasonable and we also got a photo booth through them which our guests loved. Working with Double Platinum DJ for our wedding and the various services we leveraged was top notch from start to finish. Whether it was interacting with Bill their owner on questions or input, meeting with Conner their Manager to discuss the vision and plan for the day or our specific DJ (Sean) to execute it all at the event, we had a great experience. We leveraged DJ services, uplighting which comes standard and adds a lot to a venue, additional string lights and the big wow factor of the cold sparks for our first dance which were amazing and an absolute hit and worth every penny for the photos we got. I felt confident in their expertise and professionalism in every step of the process and would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a great experience with DPDJ! They lead the reception well, helping to make sure grand entrance, speeches, and first dances went without a hitch. Our dance floor was packed all night!

The process of working with DPDJ couldn't have been easier. We basically completed a songbook pdf. They sent documents via mail but email is so much easier for us. They worked well with us sending documents and payments digitally which was very convenient. After looking over our “songbook” which covered in detail the music for our night, DPDJ Bill “assigned us”, for lack of better terms, with DJ Nolan- the best fit based on our “songbook”. We got into personal contact with DJ Nolan about a week prior to our wedding date. We finalized things with him both via text and phone call. DJ Nolan was absolutely amazing. He checked in with us often and we felt the night was MC’d and DJ’d to perfection. We did have live ceremony music but DPDJ provided mics and all cocktail/reception music and took requests! Simply put, there is not one thing we would change about working with DPDJ Bill and DJ Nolan. We couldn't recommend them more.

Conner was an absolute pro. Not only did he play to the crowd and keep the energy up all night, he was a great facilitator throughout the wedding. He kept us well-informed on timing, and made sure we had nothing to worry about all night. We can't recommend Double Platinum enough!

The company was amazing to work with during the whole process of planning the music for our wedding. We were assigned DJ David for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier! Music and dancing was one of those things we prioritized for our wedding, and Double Platinum was so easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding and day of, David listened to what we were looking for and totally delivered. And the music videos were a hit!

DJ Nolan with Double Platinum DJ Service was amazing! My guests were able to requests songs, I had a song book from the company that I highlighted songs I wanted played, crossed off songs I didn't want play and was able to add my own. My dance floor was packed all night. 10/10 recommend them & DJ Nolan!! I also used their Photo Booth service and had David as the attendant and he was amazing as well!

One week before the wedding, Bill called us to touch base and chat about wedding night including the music, cues, wedding party entrance etc. He stuck with our wishes and did a great job executing the night. We booked with ease and no issues came up. We were able to contact Conor and Bill when we had questions that came u during the planning process. DJ Conner had people up and dancing the whole night and everything went smoothly. Prepping with them was easy enough and when there was any ambiguity he asked us to confirm, which saved us since we put the wrong song for a dance and he was able to fix it day of. He was easily accessible during the planning process. He did a great job as MC and coordinating with our dinner band to make the evening seamless; and then provided a great club vibe after dinner.
