Norm was amazing from day one. We connected on our shared love for the northeast. He showed nothing but respect and professionalism throughout the whole process. He came in to see my husband and I before the wedding to let us know he was there so we didn’t have to worry. He also took care of holding our vows so it was one less stress the day of. We would recommend him over and over again.

JP was absolutely amazing! My officiant canceled on me a week before my wedding day due to being ill and I called JP and with no hesitation he was there and made my big day sooo worth it. He even made it happen on his day off!! I am beyond thankful for you JP and would 110% recommend him for your services needed!

We had the perfect day. It was filled with chaos. A beautiful chaos that we'll never forget. Norm's contribution to our rehearsal and wedding ceremony are a huge part of what made this day perfect. Norm brought the perfect touch to our wedding. He was the first officiant we found and after seeing his videos/reviews, we were almost sold. Then after a chat on the phone with him, we knew we didn't need to look any further. Norm has been an officiant for a long time. Though, time and experience doesn't always mean someone will put their all into their job or go the extra mile. Norm does both. He's not burnt out or tired of saying the same thing over and over - in part because he doesn't. He tailors his ceremonial speech to YOU. We were nervous hiring someone who didn't know us for a long time or know what we've been through together to get to the point of marriage. Though with Norm, it didn't even matter. He could feel the energy in the room and he acted off that. He didn't need to know our whole life story to craft a beautiful ceremony, honoring all the things we value the most in our life. Nearly everyone at our wedding commented on how cool/funny/professional Norm was after the ceremony. He brought laughter, tears, goosebumps and so many good vibes to our wedding rehearsal and day. He even made sure the aisle runner was laid down before I got to the aisle (weird thing for him to be involved in, yes, but so helpful). It torrential down-poured for 3 hours leading up to our ceremony, causing the arbor on the beach to collapse and require reassembly in a totally different location than planned. I (bride) did all the planning and coordinating the day of. I knew exactly what everything was supposed to look like until 30 mins prior to the ceremony due to weather. The photographers caught (on camera and mic), Norm insisting our close friend lay out the aisle runner that would've been otherwise forgotten about and left unused. He even made sure to wear the perfect color scheme (which we did not even mention, let alone dictate), to fit in pictures perfectly. I am so grateful for Norm. We had no idea what we were doing - we planned a destination wedding, out of state, without knowing anyone who would be our vendors or even seeing the beach house (venue) ahead of time. That's a bit nerve wracking... and yet, Norm continued to bring peace, calmness and guidance through each step of planning he was a part of - allowing us to feel so much relief. Norm will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Anyone looking for the perfect Officiant, should be contacting JP Norm Demmers. He's the adopted Uncle you never knew you wanted. Norm was the absolute best officiant. From the beginning at our first meeting with him we clicked instantly. He genuinely cares so much about the couples he marries, he put so much attention to detail in our ceremony. Every single question that we asked he gave us an answer always in a timely manner. This was an amazing ceremony JP Norm performed just yesterday 4/4/24. He was so professional he went above and beyond for our wedding. He even recognized our loved ones that aren’t with us anymore. I highly recommend JP Norm!!!!!

First off! Our ceremony was beautiful, JP was fantastic. As a busy bride I delayed in getting some finishing touches to him (blessing the rings from the mothers) he came up with this himself and it was great!! I was so impressed. He came by and said hi before the ceremony letting me know he’s here and ready! Came by afterwards for a picture and a goodbye. We will be using him in our future!

Norm did our New Year’s Eve Day ceremony and it was perfect!!! He made it personal, was very professional and classy, gave it a special touch and it was emotional! He’s awesome at what he does and we both absolutely loved him! I highly recommend him, 5 stars and more! I’m so glad we chose him and would love for him to marry all my friends! Super guy, can’t say enough about his personality, he’s top notch!

We hired JP maybe a month or so out. Our first meeting was in his home, he is so passionate and professional. He has an entire binder of deifferent ceremonies for the type you are looking for- whether traditional, non denominational, catholic, etc. we then met a week before our date and he checked if anything had changed, we went through our program again and things we could do to add our own twang to it. I absolutely loved everything JP Norm did for me at my wedding! He made the day less stressful knowing we had an officiant like him. His professionalism and sharp attitude made the day exactly how I ever imagined it would be. I am so happy he was my officiant and I would recommend to anyone who asks!

It was truly a delight having made the decision to use JPNorm as our officiant. It was truly a pleasure meeting with you with my husband. He was also even very receptive when asked to add prayers etc that we wanted to be apart of our special day. On the day of the event we had so much fun! My family members were all talking about him joking around and just making everyone feel at ease on the day. If I were to choose again! I will choose him because the day was very memorable for not only my husband and I but also our family members in attendance.

We had two meetings with JP Norm to discuss our ceremony which were very thorough. His wedding script was touching and very well written. However, on the day of, the groom was turned around when we asked that he not be for the bride’s arrival to the aisle in a vehicle. Our last name was also mispronounced in the first reading of it. Norm assured us it would not be mispronounced at both meetings. It was disappointing that our ceremony did not go as planned and discussed from our meetings.

JP Norm was the officiant for my sunrise beach wedding on April 21st. Like so many other reviewers have said, when Nikki and I first met Norm, even early on, it felt like we had been friends for years. Norm met with us prior to the ceremony at a nearby breakfast restaurant and went over everything we wanted to do in terms of timing with sunrise, the first look, vows, everything. He also made sure to take extra time to get to know Nikki and better while we ate breakfast. Everything the day of the wedding went off without a hitch and I would recommend/hire JP Norm again, be it for our renewal or vows or as a recommendation to a close friend or family member. 5 stars.

We were so happy to find Norm to be the officiant for our wedding! Instantly we felt comfortable at our first meeting and knew we had the right person to marry us. He has an amazing sense of humor and we just love him. He went above and beyond! We were able to choose everything we wanted included in the ceremony. Norm was our officiant for my recent wedding on 3-11-23. We were very pleased with his service. We had meetings & conversations prior to the wedding to ensure everything would run smoothly & in the correct order. We loved the words for the ceremony that Norm already has prepared for whichever style to choose from. He was there at the wedding before time, he even said a couple of jokes to entertain our guests prior to the ceremony. He did a good job of informing me on the process to obtain our marriage license & filing it through the Clerk of Court. JP Norm was very efficient, organized & professional. I recommend him to any bride who is looking for an officiant for their special day!

I could go on and on... when my husband and I met him, it was a fun conversation. As we were driving home from the wedding expo, we both said we felt like we had met him before. It was just comfortable. At our first official meeting, where we ran through the ceremony details and what was to be said, he had me all in my feelings crying. We knew he had to be our officiant! Day of, he came to see me before the ceremony and we chatted. He worked beautifully with our DJ and our day of Coordinator. Everyone at the wedding asked how we knew him and was surprised that he wasn't an old friend of ours. I would give this man 1000 stars if I could. ❤️

Norm was amazing! We met him at a wedding venue and instantly knew he was the best choice. We reviewed his ratings, then we engaged him then met him twice. Each time he was professional; he knew exactly how to push forward the planning, ask the questions he needed, and work with us as "newbies" (lol, right?) Each time he was personal. He was able to make us feel special, and given all of the attention that we needed. He explained exactly the process,, including all of the steps we needed to take. Everything that would happen at the ceremony. Everything we needed to do afterwards. He was very comprehensive. The wedding itself was performed beautifully. He supported the bride and groom through any questions they might have. He worked very well with the DJ to coordinate what they needed to do. The ceremony was beautiful and he personalized it with his own signature that made it that much more memorable for the bride and groom and all of their guests.

My husband and I are so thankful to have found Norm for our wedding! He was very personable and professional and made the process of putting together our ceremony stress-free and fun. Norm was extremely positive and flexible when it came to customizing our own personal time capsule ceremony and was excellent at the delivery on the day of. Oh my gosh…. Norm was absolutely incredible. I am a first time bride, we had a micro wedding and this gentle amazing man was so patient with me, answered all my questions, kept in touch even though it was so last minute. We were married on 12/18/2021 and Norm really elevated our ceremony. He was extremely helpful in explaining the ceremony and what to expect leading up to the actual day. On our wedding day he really helped lighten the mood and made not only us but our wedding guests all feel loved and welcomed which is exactly what we were looking for. Norm is simply the best!! I cannot explain how amazing he is. I met Norm at a Wedding expo in Melbourne, and just from talking to him there I knew I found our officiant. He is kind, caring, understanding and he listens to want you want and don't want. Our wedding was postponed due to the pandemic, but not to worry, Norm married us anyways - in the rain - on our day. And even better a year later - this past April - he was there to do our vow renewel with our friends and family. His "surprises" are the best part of the ceremony. You won't go wrong if you do them. I met Norm at a wedding expo in Melbourne in February 2020. I liked his personality so I talked to him. I explained I needed someone who didn't mind being a last minute call if my good friend couldn't make it (he is over seas). Norm said, "don't worry", handed me his card, "I will be your 911". If you tried to have a wedding in 2020, then you can understand the frustration and hassle, but 2021 come and we are finally having our special day and I called Norm, he was still very understanding of my situation. A month away I decided to use Norm as my officiant (instead of my friend). It was a pleasure working with Norm from Double Rings JP. Norm was not at all what I expected from an officiant. He was fun, and inviting. Warm personality. He was very involved and very dedicated. If you are nervous or uncertain about saying yes to his two "surprises", say YES! My entire family loved it. It was special, unique, and just perfect. Norm is highly recommended by myself, husband and family for anyone getting married looking for an organized, reliable officiant.

From a planned beachside wedding to a hotel oceanside deck to a riverside park ----and because of the corona virus ended up to be a backyard wedding. All through this Mr, Demer was very understanding and supportive, We only met Mr, Demer a couple times but felt comfortable with him like another family member, He was at times joking and made everyone laugh --- but at the same time was very professional, The day after the ceromony -- everyone in attendance was talking about how magnificent OUR JP was, Thank you Mr. Demer to make our day a memory to last a life time.
